Premier Inn Preston South (Craven Drive) hotel in South Ribble

TOP OF ITS CLASS!!! Really enjoyed our stay here! So peaceful and relaxing was in room 328 and just everything was so peaceful and relaxing and so so quiet! Just got to say first class service from June in housekeeping really polite and full of enthusiasm we a really just laugh with her and made our stay much more pleasant. June you rock 💪🙌 The lady in the food department was really nice and was well organised also. The breakfast was amazing and plentyful!!! 💯 Location was great and so was the convinant pub across the road the Walton 👍 Will be returning back soon. Thanks again 🙏

Been here twice now and about to book for a third time. Premier Inn rooms are pretty much standard across all branches so I know what to expect. This branch is such a great location for the M6 and the supermarket across the road is handy especially for the petrol station. What I love most about this hotel is on the occasions we have visited it has been quiet which is perfect for us as we like a quiet environment, some hotels you constantly have banging doors, heavy feet, noisy corridors but not here. On my visits staff have always been friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great and the kids eat free offer is amazing. Honestly don't know what to say beyond that. Had a problem with the heating rattling during the night but I forgot to mention it to staff on my rush out so I can't complain about it as I am confident that it would have been acknowledged. Otherwise than that reasonable price and it seems now my go to hotel when visiting Lancaster.

We've been traveling around the UK and have stayed in several Premier Inns for continuity. The Premier Plus rooms, while a predictable move to increase revenue, are genuinelly worth the additional few pounds. Clearly a lot of thought went into the development of these rooms and the additions bring these rooms into the realm of much more expensive hotels. I've been prompted to leave a review now as the Preston South Premier Inn is a particularly good example. The room was spotless and well designed and the staff really exceptional, (a Gentleman and a young lady in the evening and the same young lady in the morning of the 29th Jan). As always the breakfast was superb. If you've reason to go to Preston, this is the place to stay.

Nightshift member of staff who booked us in was extremely helpful. We were given one of the Premier plus rooms and it was lovely. On this occasion no time for breakfast, but will return. We need more people in the world like this male member of staff who looked after us. We were made to feel welcome from We walked in the door. Lovely man to greet you after a long drive.

Stayed for work and was actually a very nice place, good rooms, clean, good location with plenty of shops nearby.

We booked 2 premier plus rooms for a few extra pounds and was happy with the upgrade (nespresso machine, chocolates, bottled water in fridge, comfy arm chairs and generally more attention to detail as far as the decor. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, room was spotlessly clean.

Great place to stay and plentyof parking! And Right next to a pub

Quiet location, friendly staff and has it's own kitchen, so no breakfast hanging about under hot lamps: all food is cooked to order. Pub next door if you need drinks or dinner.

Visited my son who lives in Preston and we stayed here. From the moment we walked in all staff were friendly and very welcoming. The hotel was spotless and the two rooms we had were lovely. The breakfast is also worth having. Will definitely return soon.

Im currently trying to sleep - room booked in name of Waldock. Very noisy people in room next door talking in loud voices!!! Cannot get to sleep - very unhappy!!!

Recently refurbished (apparently) with the addition of Premier Plus rooms which are lovely. Internet is very slow (no ultimate anymore), no EV charging either

Ideal location for our visit to family. Our room was perfect for my wife, who has mobility issues. Every member of staff was friendly and welcoming, the room and public areas were very clean. A pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Only given 1 star as there is no WiFi most of the time

Really nice revamp and comfy bed. The rooms are spotless and really modern. Well impressed. Only letdown was the speed bumps on the main road make a lot of noise at night and kept me awake 🫠 Infact it’s quite a busy estate so if your window is open you can hear a fair bit going on. It is what it is I guess and no fault of the hotel.

I've stayed in many Premier Inns, however this one really stands out. It may have been recently refurbished but the reception area was welcoming, looks professional and the deluxe room I had was very stylish and comfortable.

Could do with two bath towels when there are two people in the room and more tea bags but good price lovely breakfast.

Great location for a travelling break, friendly greeting, plenty of parking. Was really impressed with the room, very updated and lovely shower l had a good sleep and will definitely stay here again.

My room was freshly refurbished and really nice .Be aware that workmen will be on-site refurbishing from around 8 in the morning.

Our room had just been fully refurbished as has the rest of this Hotel and was of an average size and had all the basics inc a comfy bed. Although workers were still in the building, there was very little disturbance, Breakfast was served in house with table service for the cooked breakfast and buffet style continental which were both very good. To sum up this Hotel I would say excellent basic accommodation for a short stay.

Great hotel, everywhere was clean and spotless. The bed and pillows were very comfy. Had everything we needed. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Rooms as per usual, Breakfast really let this place down… Ended up leaving before being served - waitied 20 minutes!
