Nice place next to the lakes, great for a morning walk after your breakfast. Next door pub inn opening shortly after a refurb will be great to relax looking over the lake after an evening meal. Great central location, present staff always helpful that's why I always book Premier inn

The staff were very friendly and the team doing breakfast were brilliant with offering gluten free options. The room was large and clean with lovely views of the lake. There had clearly been some upgrades recently completed, the bathroom and breakfast area looked new.

This was the worst hotel I have ever booked, the hotel was under refub and basically a building site, covered in mud, freezing and a jail cell would have been more comfortable, I honestly can believe they are still trading, I booked a breakfast and evening meal only to be told they can't provide food as 3 quarters of the hotel is closed.....it was basically full of people working onsite, I have now clue how this place is open.Reception did her best to help but this place is the pits and I moved to another hotel with not so friendly reception but warm and clean, shame on you premier inn.

On my travels, I stay in a Premier Inn. As always, a delight. Friendly staff, lovely rooms and great location being by a large lake. On this occasion the restaurant was being refurbished and was given alternative nearby restaurants which was no problem. But you could still get a breakfast on site. Will visit here and see no reason not to visit again. 18th December 24.

Hotel was OK. One thing they failed to tell us was it was a building site so no food. It was too late for us to find somewhere else. Then to top it off as with all building sites, NAILS in tyres. Just what you need when travelling.

Booked hotel and was then told pub closed for business, no where close to eat or drink. Would not recommend staying at this premier inn

April Stay - Perfect place to get your head down for the night. The receptionist got me a fan as it was a very hot night. Stayed in an accessible room, which was brilliant. Bed was stained a bit and the floor looked a bit dirty. But not to the point where it affected our stay. There was a slight issue with the lights, but we were going to bed so we just left them off. It has a lakeside view and even during the day it was very quiet. The pub was very busy but you wouldn’t know from being in the room. September stay - I do think the carpark could do with better lighting and a couple more Disabled Bays. I have poor mobility and on returning there was nowhere to park apart from the area right at the back. The steps were not good for me, I had to be lifted down. (I wasn’t using my wheelchair) and it was very dark!! I was put on a 1st floor room, but that was changed to Ground Level, although not accessible for my needs. It was Rm25 and the walk was very long for a person who struggles. Can’t say I was overly impressed with my 2nd stay.

The lake is picturesque and the staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and easy. The bar and grill next door has a wide menu, helpful staff and tasty food. If you like grills the smells are mouth watering. For the price don’t expect much, breakfast is limited, windows are filthy, only fan to stay cool, the windmill is missing it’s arms and no conditioner, but at the price happy enough.

Had a one night stay and it was spot on from start to finish except for the evening dining. Apparently the restaurant was fully booked although over half the tables were empty or still dirty from previous diners. Sleep was good as you can’t help numpties not being quiet in the hallway! The breakfast though was just amazing. Considering the size of the kitchen and the footfall they did an amazing job and was honestly one of the best breakfasts I have had in ages. Hats off to the breakfast crew.

I think this may be the nicest Premier Inn I have ever stayed in. I know there are hundreds and I have only been to a handful, and of course, you know the template of the rooms so won't bore you. The difference here, though, was the staff. Arrived well earlier than the check in time of 3pm and was only mildly optimistic about an early check-in but Hector was most helpful and got us checked in for a extra £10 (worth it traffic on the M1 was awful I needed a lie down) The ladies at breakfast, were friendly and helpful. The weather was great that weekend, and we had no issues finding parking (free) when we ventured out and returned later. The only downside was the wi-fi in the rooms be prepared to hotspot the kids' devices as it was bad.

An unforgettable experience with sun-kissed moments and breathtaking views of the lake from the room The hotel staff are very humble and extremely helpful. Throughout my two-week stay, they made me feel completely comfortable and welcome. Debbia - Always welcomed me with a warm smile during breakfast, making each day start on a positive note. Nora - Upon entering for breakfast, she prepared special dishes for me and consistently served them hot and customized to my preferences. Bar staffs - There's a cheerful lady who welcomes me with a big smile and asks, "How are you, Darling?" when I come for dinner. The girl at the bar remembers my usual order (Chicken wings and Katsu chicken) and always recommends the perfect drink for me during my stay. Enjoyed until the end of the two-week period to the core.

I have been there twice. First, ordered the livers (they were amazing) with 2 milkshakes. The staff added £2 extra to the bill, claiming the prices were not updated. Problem sorted, once I raised the issue. 2nd time, after about 3 months, I have ordered the mixed shawarma wrap £6.5 + £2 if you want additional chips (I did) and a bottle of ayran, that was £2.5. The wrap came with almost no salad, just a bit of lettuce and some gerkins, and not only it really didn’t have any flavor, but it was extremely fat (it was lamb & chicken), the fat was dripping. Order total: £14 instead of £11. I didn’t bother arguing it, as I made the decision of never coming back when I tasted the wrap.
