Great location for commuting into London or the Rugby stadium. Nice little town and town centre about 10mins walk. The staff were excellent including those at the adjacent pub, one of them went out of her way to get my son ice cream even after the kitchen was closed! Much appreciated! The only issue we had was that it was a hot summer night and there's no air-con and with the windows open the constant sound of aircraft flying over as it is on the Heathrow flight path, meant that we didn't get a great night's sleep. We did have a floor fan in the room but it wasn't sufficient as we we had a family room. Also noticed that the room needed a refurb but that didn't affect our comfort in any way. The beds were comfy as all Premier Inns so I think at cooler/colder times it would've been perfect, but this is based on our experience at the end of summer.

Easy to park but rubbish being collected at 5am was unacceptable - being told this always happens is not good enough.

Wow, just wow! the best dumplings I have ever eaten, and I eat a lot of dumplings. The duck was succulent with a crisp coating, the sauce was subtle without being overpowering. Just loved it.

I love the unique chip shop-cum-off-licence concept here, which is what drew me in when I had a craving for some good old-fashioned chips. Stopped by for lunch and had to wait about ten minutes as my medium portion was cooked fresh to order. The chips came out piping hot, perfectly fluffy on the inside, and I gave them a generous splash of salt and vinegar—just the way I like it! While the quality of the chips was great, I was disappointed by the portion size. For the price, I expected a bit more, and I left feeling a bit short-changed. Nice place overall.

Went here for Sunday Brunch. I had the temerity to ask for some ketchup from one of our servers as they retreated from our table. The reaction was that of a teenager tasked with tidying their room. In a manner I can best describe as 'I hate my job but I hate you more' he pointed at an individual portion of ketchup and said, "you've got some already." One between four it is, then. On his return, I asked what the problem was. He replied, "don't talk to me like that." When I countered, he brought an end to our engagement saying, "conversation over" and stormed off. That was it. Rude, aggressive and sullen - not qualities you want in front of house. It's important to point out our waitress was lovely and the breakfast bagel I chose was delicious. Though it came with a complementary hair, I didn't find it until nearing the end so it didn't ruin the meal.
