Premier Inn London Bank (Tower) hotel in City of London, Westminster

Great location, just blocks from Tower of London and London and Tower Bridges. The rooms are nothing fancy but a place to sleep at night. They offer a full English breakfast but that is not what you would think it is. The breakfast is a buffet with English breakfast items. When I read the menu online I understood it to mean I would get a fresh cooked breakfast upon order.

Used for business trip, Room was more than adequate and well located.

Omg room 704. Such an amazing room, the best view. Hotel was a bit run down and had repairs to the lifts, scuffed seats in the underground restaurant. All served a purpose and main thing was rooms were fresh and clean.

Modern and clean. Nice location. Shamin is a very friendly waiter. Cons: - Cleaning only upon request, which is ok for me. - WiFi free, but 1 Mbit/s max speed, if you pay 5 pounds you will get a crazy speed of 8 Mbit/s for 24 hours. - No safe

We booked three rooms, two quads and one double, for a stay with our 4 children and parents. The two family rooms had an interlocking door which was perfect for a family of 6. All three rooms were spacious and clean. We paid for early check in which was perfect as we could drop our bags off before heading to the theatre. Shamin was fantastic - so helpful and friendly and clearly working very hard as everywhere you turned there he was ready to help! Breakfast was great and they were fantastic with my gluten and milk intolerance. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent in all aspects for a London Inn at this price range and for a basic room. 134 pounds per night. The room was spacious and included all amenities you would need for a short stay. Bathrooms are very nice. The service staff performed exceptionally well, professionally, and with curtesy. The breakfast is taste and complete with all traditional english delicacies. I would recommend a stay here and personally will visit again.

Visited the hotel for my daughters 7th birthday and she was treated like royalty. Lots of really friendly attentive staff, but shout out to Jaya, Hassan and Khattab who surprised her at breakfast with a birthday brownie. Her day was made that they took the time to do something for her. Also we had a goodie bag in the room, which might have been linked to refurbishment work that was taking place, but we didn't have any impact on out stay from this work. Lovely sized room and the location was perfect for what we wanted to do in London.

It's really a hotel that you should never visit, the staff are extremely indifferent, they treat people very badly, the rooms are very dirty and ice cold, and there is no phone reception. If you want to waste your money and get sick, this hotel is for you.

The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. We arrived on the 25th and stayed until the 28th, since they only made our beds for 1 day. I didn't know that in some hotels on the 25th and 26th there was no cleaning service, it seems a little strange to me that in a hotel where you stay for several days they don't have a cleaning service on holidays 🤦🏻‍♀️, for the rest of the days you have to Let them know that you want your room cleaned. The breakfast is the simplest in the world and at dinner only two dishes, although they tell you that they have special Christmas dishes, this is not the case since the first day there were no hamburgers or other options that they advertise.

We had two rooms with very different standards. One nice and modern one on the 5th floor and one old and smelly on the 1st floor. Most ridiculous was that they were not providing any housekeeping even after a stay of 4 days using every day the same excuse that there was Christmas period.... Thus, you basically had to stack the trash in your room. For us, it looked like they were really challenging themselves to minimize cost and effort wherever they could. Not really what you are looking for during vacation.

A quiet hotel well located to rest peacefully. Close to a metro stop to get around the city. Some TV channels would be missing on SPANISH television . The mattress is somewhat soft but comfortable to rest on. A quiet restaurant with good food.

Overall good experience with the hotel. The restaurant staff (Shami & Harish) were really helpful and caring.

Lovely hotel, with great staff and top service specially Shamin was nice with great attitude and good service. The hotel is placed nicely with just 5 minutes walk to London bridge and 10 minutes to bank train station. The rooms are clean and absolutely quite and nights. Good and everything made freshly at breakfast. The guy giving service and cleaning the tables in the morning was great. Very nice hotel witch we will use in the future as well.

We are here for the week of Christmas. Staff are very helpful and kind, truly excellent service. Shamin and Narmada in the restaurant/bar were fantastic, accommodated all requests and very attentive always. Location is outstanding. Great value with professional, friendly service. We would certainly stay here again when we return to London!

Fantastic hotel located close to some of London's attractions such as Borough Market or Tower Bridge. Cozy room with a modern style. The Monument metro is nearby and in the area there are also the Sky Garden and Horizon 22. I highly recommend it!

Lovely stay here, had stayed here before, but the room looks like it's been refurbished since then. It's really convenient for London Tower and the bridge and monument station is close by and really handy for other tourist attractions. Staff were very helpful, there were some issues with deliveries, so no pastry items or yoghurt for breakfast. Very quiet rooms and quiet area. Little gift left with treats for Christmas was a nice suprise. The lights around the mirror were a good touch and the room was nicely decorated with plenty of space for 4 people. Only a couple of things could be improved, although it wasn't too much of an issue, it would have been nice to have a few extra chairs in the room (we only had 1 for a family room). There used to be a choice of different pillows in Premier Inns, I found the ones in the room quite hard and the lack of pastries at breakfast was a bit disappointing. We would stay here again though, it was perfect for our trip.

Shamin was very attentive and helpful when we arrived quite late with children. Clean and tidy hotel 👍

Unbelievably hot, I couldn't even stay in the lobby long enough to check my bags. It's like walking into a sauna.

Really wonderful welcome from the front of house team when checking in on a Saturday night. I had a shocking day up to this point and they really made us welcome.

Location is perfect, minutes away from Monument or Tower Hill. Lovely view of the shard from the front of the hotel! Room is clean and tidy, a bath too. Great size for a family of 3 with a buggy and suitcase. Staff really friendly and helpful, could also leave luggage on the last day for free. We ordered food and they covered in foil to keep warm whilst we did the bedtime routine. Very kind! Would definitely stay again. Shamin and Narmada really helpful and friendly, great staff.

Sim and Hasan really spoilt our little girl on her birthday whilst we stayed here! Not everyday you get brownie and ice cream for breakfast!

An average Premier Inn. Welcome from the team was good but the room was average and WiFi really bad which if you're on business is not helpful. We had to leave to have a scheduled zoom meeting as the signal was so flaky.

Excellent value for money, highly recommended breakfast and perfect location for visiting the South Bank.

This is not a review of the rooms, facilities or location, merely the customer support. Be careful if there is a chance you have to cancel the booking - it was impossible to get in touch with anyone to discuss a cancellation or potential change, and on the website there was neither any option to cancel (even for a cost).

My family and I spent 3 nights at the hotel. Overall, good value for money. The room is relatively small, but since we went there almost only to sleep, it was not a problem. The hotel is in a very good location, 2 minutes from the subway and the Thames. Tower Bridge can be reached on foot in 10 minutes, but it is still quiet at night. The breakfast was good, although it was the same every day, there were no cold meats and cheese, but everything else that is usual for a hotel breakfast. The negative thing is that they didn't allow us to occupy the room even 10 minutes before 3 pm and that they only gave us 1 entry card, even though you can't even use the elevator without a card, but we were given another card upon request. It is also positive that the packages could be dropped off in the morning on the day of arrival, and also for safekeeping after checkout on the day of departure. The beds were very comfortable, there is air conditioning with individually adjustable temperature. Overall, I recommend the hotel for a few-day getaway to London.

Water supply ran out throughout the time we had here and had to go to another hotel.nkt amused

Great location. Bank station is 10 mins walk away and has step free access. The only problem with this hotel is weirdly there is no ramp so you have to carry cases up stairs. There is a wheelchair lift but it was out of order and did not look well maintained. Hotel is clean and cool inside. Beds were comfy and temperature was very comfortable. Staff on reception were all very nice and helpful with lots of luggage being left in their storage room. Would stay again but wish they would find a solution for step free luggage.

The hotel is located in an excellent position near the center and the metro station, very quiet, safe and quiet at night. The rooms are large and clean (although dated) and the bed very very comfortable. The staff is friendly and the common areas tidy (there is also an Amazon locker). The only thing I didn't find up to par was the breakfast, the choice is poor (also considering the price) and the quality is not the best. In any case, excellent solution for London

One of best hotel and just waking distant from London Bridge & very much approachable to local underground station called Monument

Stayed in a family room which was huge whilst visiting Tower of London and tower bridge. Hasan was excellent on check in and took time to talk to us about our stay both at check in and breakfast the next morning. Hotel is very well located, quiet and very useful luggage store. Georgi was lovely at breakfast and my kids gave her a drawing, Hasan and Georgi then made them a treat of ice cream sundae for breakfast - this totally made their holiday!

Good value for money, fairly well located (subway stops on both sides, nearby restaurants...), correct breakfast and attentive staff. Our room was a family room, large in size, since we were going with two children, but the bathroom is somewhat old. In Spain it would be a 2 star, but it is adequate if you come to see the city.

The room is neat and clean. The room space is good enough. Location is great. Unfortunately, they don’t provide the slippers. Overall, I enjoy staying here.

My family and I thought it was going to be a small room and not enough space for a family of four. When we stepped in we were surprised to see it was big enough. We had a great view of the walkie talkie building from a huge window. The breakfast was lovely and all fresh. Around us were lots of work offices that blocked the view but we weren't to bothered about it. We will use this hotel again the next time we go into London.

Room very good for the price, good bedding. The breakfast buffet is also very good. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Very good location close to Monument station.

It's a great place to stay, super nice staff and a great breakfast... I would recommend it for business over stays and short visits to London, great location as well.

Great premier inn as ever. You know what you are getting. The hotel is located in the business area of London so excellent for a work trip. Or you are only about a 5 min walk from Monument Station and also the Great Fire of London Monument. London bridge is only about a 10 min walk.

Good solution for visiting London, the wi-fi is not exactly the best and should be fixed.

Nice spacious (accessible) room. Good location. I chose this due to the restaurant and cooked breakfast, which was not great. Clearly using the cheapest ingredients possible.

Booked a week before my one night stay, due to a work event. Great location, 10 mins walk to the office and London Bridge station. Check in was rapid, less than 2 mins. Rooms are older and functional, but they offered a family room so there was plenty of space compared to the newer Premier Inn Hub locations. I had plans for my partner and baby to come up to town while I was at work, so the family room was perfect with a chaise lounge which turns into a single bed (bedding under the double bed) and a travel cot with sheets already installed. Kettle with tea bags, coffee, sugar and sweeteners in room. More in the reception area if you require replenishing. The bathroom was clean but fairly basic. There is a bath tub, which is useful for giving baby a bath. Full size hand wash and body wash provided. So bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner. I brought my own slippers, as none was provided. Plenty of electrical plug points and a panel of HDMI/AV/USB points under the TV by the desk. Perfect for a business traveller. For the price paid, I am happy with what I got. Similar rooms in the vicinity are much more expensive or tiny room.

BED BUGS!! I stayed for 6 nights in the beginning of march for a work trip. The room was tatty, carpets not secured and a bit of mold in the bathroom but all in all not too bad for central London. I was informed on checkin that no one would come in and clean the room unless requested to. On the 3rd day when I returned in the afternoon I noticed someone had been in the room (curtains open and things moved a bit). I hadn't requested a clean so was confused. I checked my belongings and was unconvinced that my bank cards were where I left them. I then enquired with reception who said an engineer had been in the room, but wouldn't tell me why.. unsure, I reported it to the police via the form just to be sure there was a paper trail should any issues arise later. None of this was overly concerning so I continued to stay for the remainder of my trip. On my way home I realised I was covered in insect bites! I then recieved an email from the police saying the hotel claimed an "engineer" was searching the room with a dog for bed bugs!! Bed bugs happen, that's not overly horrifying. What is disgusting is they knew for the duration of the week, and a) didn't inform me and b) continued to rent the room out! Complete negligence in my opinion! I have since tried contacting the hotel to confirm if it is bed bugs or something else I may need to hire a pest controller for, but they will not answer the phone!

It's not a 5 star hotel but it's in a good location and had, when I stayed there, good service, clean rooms, I had a good nights sleep and a good breakfast.

Great location and service from the staff. Clean room. 4 stars as our key cards kept failing (4 failed key cards in 4 days) and my hotel bugbear of giving tissues not toilet roll which is just inconvenient cost saving.

It's a great hotel, I definitely recommend. Amazing rooms and normal wifi. I do like the breakfast buffet, it was really good.
