Premier Inn Liverpool (West Derby) hotel in Liverpool

Contracted norovirus on our second night while staying here, one of the kids ending up vomiting and couldn’t quite make the bathroom, my wife went to get some kind of cleaning materials, came back with 2 spare towels and an odour spray.. not sure how this was going to help prevent the spread or clean regurgitated pepperoni pizza off the carpet. I went and asked for gloves and disinfectant. They said they didn’t have access to it. I said we'll just leave so one of the guys did offer to move us rooms. Ended up in another room so I went to Aldi and bought some cleaning supplies and water. Ended up having to stay another night as we all came down with it. Our friends were also staying here and said there was a girl being sick near the entrance of the hotel. I just don’t think they was bothered in trying to help prevent the spread of a sickness bug or bothered about the hygiene in general, we was just a nuisance to them.

Friendly staff in reception. Very clean and comfortable. Quality bed and facilities. Late checkout available and at a very reasonable price. Loved my stay here. Defo 5 stars 🌟

Our normal return to hotel in Liverpool have been going there for 4 or 5 years as it is handy for hospitals

You can't go wrong with a Premier Inn but this one tops them all! As well as the usual clean, comfy beds this was ideally situated for the football...but the service is what sets this apart. Danielle and Mish on reception were exceptional- going above and beyond to help me after I left my phone in a taxi. They made lots of phone calls and worked wonders to get it back. I'd have given up. They were awesome - thank you.

This hotel used to be better, staff very blunt, no smiles and grumpy. Also a charge for parking has been put in place but nothing to improve the parking has been done. Rooms are OK, sort of clean,..

Got cancelled on day before our trip and with no response from the hotel

Had an amazing stay. Great value for money and staff were very accommodating. Highly recommend it.

No impressed. Obtuse receptionist was more interested in being "funny" by suggesting we didn't have two rooms booked. Failed to mention we needed to book breakfast (despite this not being clear) so we only got a table after protesting. Delivery driver for Johnson woke us up at 7am on a Saturday morning shouting on his hands free.

Stayed one night. Just before arrival they placed an order on the carpark meaning you now have to pay. Staff didn't seem to have a clue what the situation was with the car park which was disappointing. Also, on the journey there, I was contacted via email to say that the Beefeater attached was closed with immediate effect, which meant we had to look to the local area for dinner and breakfast. Luckily, there were other pubs and food places nearby but it added more stress on.

Better than han Leicester NW. Now this is more like Premier Inn. Love it.

Lots of free parking. Easy access to city centre.

We came to Liverpool to watch Six the musical at the Empire theatre so we were just staying here for 1 night but it was a very good place to stay as food was only next door so we didn't have to drive, plus the parking was just outside. Room was clean. Bathroom very nice, water pressure very good.

The hotel is good and receptionists are very very helpful. But they need to be better with room service. I forgot my iPhone charger in the room and all I got from them is room service hasn’t returned anything back. I would have expected to find the person who cleaned the room and then come back to me. I have forgotten things in other hotels but I always get them back.

Could not fault the service. Receptionist Daniella was super helpful made checking in really smooth after a long journey. She sorted out a booking issue with care and understanding. Truly grateful for her help.

Further to your typical Premier Inn; Clean room, comfy bed, extra pillows in the room, decent TV, tea making, lack of USB next to the bed.. The West Derby Hotel has plenty of free on site parking. Location is great for snacks as it shares its space with a decent size food retailers and a Costa. Definitely convenient for staying on the edge of the city, although traffic is busy on the main road. That said, can't hear any of it from the room. Staff are friendly and chatty. Breakfast in the Beefeater next door was very good. Quality Premier Inn.

Very handy location if you're in town for the Liverpool game. Approx. 40mim walk to the ground or 15-20mim taxi ride. So taxi recommended. Food is also good next door and breakfast is your usual standard from PremierInn buffet 👍🏼

Good night sleep and very quiet

On 23 Feb 2024 , at 6:30Pm, the 2 ladies at the reception were helpful and really kind, they saved our day! I made a surprise to my Husband and daughter (early surprise) as they will have their birthday party in the next couple of days. Thank you for both of them!

My son and I stayed here Saturday 3rd Feb for one night as cane over to see Pretty Woman the musical ..Been to this hotel before ..great service great place to rest ...Like it as it's easy to get to and from city ...
