Very welcoming and friendly staff - nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Quiet. Great location by the side of the Caledonian Canal with wonderful walks close by. Co-located with a Beefeater restaurant which is open almost all day.

Nice hotel, good food, and nice staff. Pretty far from town if walking, but quiet as a result. Only issue we had when there was being sat in a fairly confined area of the otherwise empty restaurant, surrounded by loud groups and young families. Usually wouldn't be bothered, but in this instance we both had been working in a noisy environment all day and just wanted to eat our dinner in peace. The second night we asked to be put on a table elsewhere in the restaurant so as to avoid the noise.

Good experience. Generally positive. Probably advise to avoid the food though. Even on offer not good value in my experience. Rooms clean and warm.

Looks new outside, run down inside the room. The WiFi is awful. The room was so dusty and you can’t open a window. The heating/aircon sounds loud enough for a jet engine powering down. Breakfast disappointing, dry and not appealing. It’s a shame as I chose this hotel based on reviews. Other than this, it’s like other premier inn’s and I’ve stayed at lots. Staff as always polite.

Had a bit of an issue with the first room but the Hotel Manager swapped us with no problem. He was extremely helpful, friendly and we will definitely return to the hotel due to this. Food was great, although service on the Saturday night was a bit slow, but the place was busy so it was understandable. Bar man was lovely and we had a great trip

Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful. Evening dinner was average but breakfast was decent. Good value for money but it was January. Location good with plenty of buses to Inverness centre just across the road.

Good hotel , good service , good location, Disappointed for 2 reasons , firstly a fire alarm and having to stay in the cold at 2 am for a very long time ( They apologised for it) and Secondly getting a PCN despite parking legally. I had the ticket and the booking reference and instead of apologising for their mistake, they said " as an act of kindness we will cancel your PCN , not that you have any right!

We stayed 2 nights from 26th December 2024, the staff were warm, friendly and very helpful. This Hotel is situated on the canal about 1.5 miles from the city centre, easily walkable but we believe you can get a bus. There was lots of free parking and all the amenities you would expect from a Premier Inn

The nice thing about Premier Inn is you know what to expect no matter the location. Rooms are clean, service is basic but good. Need another pillow or a fan no problem. We stay at the Inverness one regularly to visit relatives and we keep coming back so that says a lot.

The only thing that does not match is that the hotel is not "a few minutes' walk" from the center as they have written on their website, but rather 30 min. Anyway, very noisy with the stay, good breakfast

Why do companies take a good thing in Beefeater and decide to ruin it. Beefeater like premier Inn was just a solid reliable restaurant. Thyme on the other hand is utter rubbish, poor quality, poor service. Avoid, would not recommend

Black mold in bathrooms and in rooms. We have stayed in many premier inns and this one is the worst one that we have stayed in. Location is ok but besides the resturant on-site that you need to book in for dinner. N You need to drive to find a place to eat. Lovely service from the lady on check in

Still one of the best in Scotland. Problems with staffing as the restaurant was closed but didn't upset our 3rd visit. Staff are amazing although overworked. Love the place!

Paying £7/nt to park your car now. No evening meals on site, worn carpets and broken lift does not encourage you to book again. Was a good place to say. Very poor now.

We stayed 2 nights, but when we returned on the evening of the 2nd day, the room keys no longer worked. At 8 p.m. the reception was no longer busy. We had to wait 20 minutes for someone to come. The room had not been made. Never in my life have I seen such uninterested and smiling people working at the reception. At breakfast the same: no more water in the carafe, but even 15 minutes after I pointed it out to them, no one refills it.

Usually try and stay at the PI when I’m Inverness, as it was the best of the 3 in town, due to the Beefeater being a decent place to eat. I’d like to say I’d recommend the new Thyme restaurant but unfortunately was closed both nights of my stay, which wasn’t mentioned when I checked in. Room was very warm and unable to even crack the window open. Would probably avoid staying here again as with no restaurant, it’s a bit out of the way for a walk to town to get something to eat, sorry state of affairs…

Rooms clean. Minimal staffing but tjose were there were very friendly. Very noisy from upstairs guests jumping about til late at night. Breakfast wasn't up to normal Premier Inn standard. Not enough staff to cope with large coach groups. Overpriced for what it is.

When we decided to visit the Highlands we weren't sure at first whether to choose a bed and breakfast or a hotel. Our decision was made for us because the week that we decided to visit was apparently a popular one, and almost everything was booked in Inverness. We felt lucky to get the reservations we did at Premier Inn West However, after staying there and interacting with the wonderful staff, having their great breakfasts, and talking with the friendly and knowledgeable Haydn at their pub, I'm glad we were steered in this direction. Our stay here was fantastic. We came for the highland games and we were a short walk to Bught pitches where they were held, and just a bit further to shops and downtown Inverness. We were able to explore the area and retreat safely to our room every night knowing the friendly folks at Premier Inn would be welcoming us. Would definitely stay again.

Good location if you don't mind a wee bit of a walk into the city. Rooms were adequate, pretty standard but have stayed in worse. Breakfast (not included in standard room rate) was actually quite good, better than we expected from reading previous reviews. Bacon is cooked on the steak grills so has a nice chargrilled flavour. Lots of parking available and only 10 minute walk to The Gathering festival at Bught Park.

Located in a calm area, is worth the price it offered us in summer, A bit far, from the city centre & resturants, we had to ask for a lift from coleagues, but u can a taxi any time. Rooms are large spacious & the hotel mess closes around 5 pm, i would give it an over all 3 star ratings.

Service was okay, food service in the evening was terrible, shame really had the potential to be really nice, it's almost like they have given up with this venue. Room was nice, comfy beds, overall just the restaurant side that let it down.

The reception is spacious compared to other branches. WiFi doesn't work well It works. The restaurant is not thyme, but Beefeater. They called me in advance to say they couldn't run the restaurant on the weekend I stayed because they didn't have any workers.

Dirty towel left in room on check in and a large damp patch on the carpet. When went to raise the issue no apology given, poorly dealt with. Rooms and hotel felt a bit run down and tired. Obvious signs of snags/damages in need of repair and refurb - bathroom tile grout, silicone seals, carpets dirty when moving furniture. Expect more from premier inn.

Hotel in desperate need of an upgrade. Rooms basic with very tired decor. Air con didn't work in room which made for an uncomfortable stay. Premier seem to have neglected this particular hotel as I've stayed in other Premiers that are considerably nicer.

Good location, friendly service. On the ground floor there was a noisy fan, rained through the night sounded like the building was being hit by pellets due to the metal outside next to the window. Good price, get what you pay for. I do not recommend using the beefeater attached to the hotel.

The hotel was in a great location for Loch Ness. With ample parking which is free for hotel users, you just have to register the vehicle on an iPad in reception. The staff were pleasant, from front desk to housekeeping; we were located in room 132, a room on the 1st floor with a view towards the car park. It was super quiet! The room was a newly refurbished unit, with a lovely shower, comfy bed and armchair. We requested the room to be refreshed on day 2, and came back to a nicely made bed. Great experience and would certainly recommend the hotel to anyone.

Nice location, but disappointing (and not made clear when booking) that our family room didn’t have the fridge and coffee machine advertised as part of the Premier Plus option. Whilst it’s the newest, it’s looking a bit tired. Staff were friendly and helpful though. Breakfast was okay, kind of what you’d expect from a buffet. Not bad.

We enjoyed our dinner here. The restaurant has a bar attached and overall good and welcoming atmosphere. Staff were very helpful and friendly. My fish and chips dish was good and the vegetarian burger was also tasty. I would definitely return here when next in Thurso.

Dog friendly pub where people out for a walk can pop in for a drink. Great food, family friendly. Busy on match days because of the well positioned large screen TVs but always plenty of staff

We really enjoyed our stay here. A great location, only a couple of minutes walk to the centre of Aviemore and the station. We really appreciated how spacious the lodges and surrounding green spaces were, with nice walks in the nature reserve over the road. We also liked how quiet and peaceful the areas is. The lodge was a little worn and tired in places, but it didn’t concern us. It was all clean. Staff across the bars, breakfast and leisure pool were all fantastic. The included logs and full breakfast every morning were a big bonus, and compared to a center parcs break we thought this offered brilliant value for money. All in all a great week’s holiday. Thank you!
