Lauders Bar in Highland

This must be one of the worst pubs I have been in. Tables were filthy , floors were sticky and staff were uninterested. We ordered two drinks and could not find a clean table, then after using the toilets and actually feeling the stickiness of the floor , left. There are so many nice bars in this area, if you see it ... walk on by ! Giving it one star is flattering!!

Start the same drama as other pubs do when it comes to trans people using the toilet, singling us out and humiliating us becauseof their opinion. Funny because I don't have the same issues at another pub from the same owners close by. Oh well I guess they just don't want my money.

Terrible service and staff, served wrong drink and told to pay for it but when I said no I was told to leave-Totally unacceptable and with the dirty conditions makes it somewhere to avoid

I had an amazing drink here the oldest bar in Inverness and the bartender was friendly I got a free whiskey 😀

When we walked in we noticed the very sticky floor and while we were drinking a beer the bartender started cleaning the floor around the bar with very strong smelling chemicals, which made us doubt the cleanliness of the glasses. Especially since he washed the cleaning brush in a transparent glass that was completely black afterwards.

Lovely staff and a clean environment will definitely be back and would recommend to all my friends and family. The best in Inverness

Quite honestly, hands down, the filthiest pub I’ve ever been in in my life. 30 minutes in there was more than enough. Far far better places in Inverness

Terrible place! bar tender thought he was a bouncer extremely rude and told me to leave as he was jealous of the interactions with the females pub goers! 14/0824 no customer service whats so ever!! Worst place in Scotland! Should be fired!

Thank you to morris and Danny who served me today. Very welcoming and chatty and made me feel very welcome. Make me cocktails to try and told me local attractions in Inverness to view.

Morris and Danny are exellent bartenders theyre always quick to serve us and are amazing bartenders , good atmosphere would definitely recommend the place

Always the pub I go to on a night out. A mix up of DJ’s most weekends to give you a different variety of music, fast service and friendly staff. Toilets just renovated and looking great!

Amazing day at lauders with my chums. Big shout out to the amazing bar staff, especially Maurice who was lovely and very attentive. Highly recommend coming for good craic and excellent service.

Barman for some reason ignored me so couldn't get a beer. Not recommended.

Staff and customers are both friendly, drink selection is really good and prices are more than reasonable. Lewis is the best barman tho, so hit this place up whens he's there!

Lewis is awesome sauce. The atmosphere is lively, lovely and the beers be a flowing. Thank you Lewis for giving us an Inverness welcome.

I love comeing to this pub always a brilliant laugh and the staff are lovely,good music good good drinks good dance floor and your never short of a tv to watch lewis is always on top form

Great service and there was a lovely young girl chloe who was very helpful and very well mannered.

Lots of screens, so you can watch the game well. Staff is a little uninterested and more busy vaping than serving the costumers.

Had such a great time here when i visited bradley and lewis are top blockes the set the atmospher for the day a had out with freinds will returen again

Morris is Top bartender and makes good cocktails would defo recommend the place

Not the best place to watch football on a saturday but staff were great despite not being able to hear a thing and a busy atmosphere. Plenty of screens so you can see what is going on in the game from every angle and it's funny to see teenage boys and menopausal women dancing to the same songs. Would try again but not for a football game at weekends.

Went in for a few drinks was welcomed by the young lassie chloe who made us feel welcome and comfortable, the whole experience within the bar was great and will be returning again. Keep up the good work and excellent team work👏

Some days I would particularly like this pub. Today I would prefer it to be fancier and cleaner. Tried new beer called Wingman. Very spicy in taste.

Great service, friendly staff, good atmosphere. Filled with locals and tourists and awesome sport. Great prices for drinks. If you are looking for nightlife, Great music in the evenings for a boogie with friends.

This was a brilliant pub to visit, situated conveniently in the city's main drinking quarter! Dance floor is on the disco groove at nights and staff were friendly, atmosphere packs it too.

The bar was OK tolits were clean but the bar behind the bar was very rude we ordered our drinks and with this barman being so rude almost looking for a fight we just left never coming back here

We were here at lunchtime to have a quick drink. Already with the first steps you notice the sticky floor. Does this place ever get cleaned? The toilets were absolutely disgusting. Only one toilet had a seat, but it was completely crooked. When you wash your hands, you have to be happy that your shoes don't stick to the floor in such a short time. I was happy to have a bottled drink because I wouldn't even trust clean glasses here. Never again!

The furnishing and wood panelling is old because it's well cared for and good quality, like the patrons and beer respectively. Good pint comfy chair and friendly dog made a bloody pleasant afternoon

had a lovely couple of Guinness and 1 Highland Park whisky!! but wasn't impressed with the price of the whisky 😕

Awesome we place when entering was greeted by Lewis the young lad behind the bar. He also recommended downloading the mixr app to get a free drink. Great craic and awesome wee venue. Will definitely be returning

Whilst working away me and my work mates got finished early and headed into the town. After experiencing a few overpriced bars we came across lauders and were welcome warmly by the barman called lewis who also hosts the quiz. He answer all questions and even instructed us to downlown app for a free drink and shot as well as a free £5 voucher to spend on bar. Top notch service and a top notch barmen called lewis. Thanks again lauders

The toilets are absolutely filthy, dont think theyve been cleaned for months. Theres no toilet seats and the doors barely lock with large cracks in them. They have the audacity to have an hourly check cleaning sheet up......not sure what theyve checked.

What a pub! Came to see the world famous DJ Owen and sample some of there roasted dry roasted nobbys nuts, can’t wait to try the new chilli flavour next time.

Walked in for some diet cokes for me and my son and a alcohol free beer for my husband, the lady behind the bar watched us take our coats off and see that my husband and son sat down and settled while I walked over to order he drinks, she pours the drinks and even opened the alcohol free bottle……”THEN” decides to ask is everyone over 18!. My son is 15 and looks it, WHY not put signs up on the door like some others we encountered and not waste our time, or train the bar lady to ask before everyone settles, before pouring the drinks etc, even other customers was confused sat there.

Staff absolutely brilliant. Owen behind the bar absolutely fantastic with all the customers and staff. Highly recommend here no matter what

Well, did not feel very comfortable there

Only had one drink and left. We went in the afternoon to watch football. Everything felt very dirty and sticky. Rubbish was sitting piled up in bins from night before. Sat in cmfy seats but the fabrics were stained from booze. I hope. Overal think the bar needs a steam deep clean.

We took part in the Pub-Quiz on Thursday evening and it was great. As a german it was a little hard to understand the Scottish accent but anyways we had a lot of fun and the game master was a nice guy. #Germanators

Had many great nights in lauders! Alana is by far the best server! 🥰 Great atmosphere and a good variety of drinks available at reasonable prices. I would recommend this bar to anyone! By far my favourite and go to pub in Inverness 🥰

Really enjoyed my time at Lauders and the barmaid Alanna was really helpful and lovely when it came to a problem with paying and helped us with a solution to solve it all in all great place to go

Might be nice for locals but this is NOT a tourist bar. Visited in June of 2022 (22nd or 23rd) and the staff actively ignored us. When went to the bar to order, they order of people who came up to the bar after us. Then actually turned their backs and started cleaning the bottles rather than taking our drink order.

Lovvved this place!!! Great service and great vibes. Prices were very good! Alanna was the best. The wheel of shots was a fun (but dangerous ;) game)! An absolute must in Inverness!

Brilliant down to earth old type boozer, we need more!!!!! Great service, brilliant banter, you come in and leave as though the whole bar knows you. Lauders is a very nice little bar, my friends and I went in to get some food and drinks we were served by kelsi who explained that they don’t sell food but recommended some cafes and said we could take them in to the bar...

Best pub in inverness !!!!! All the staff make you feel welcome. The manager is an absolute gentleman. Spent most of the night in here with friends. Atmosphere was amazing
