I had a very disappointing experience at Premier Inn's restaurant today that I feel compelled to share. From the moment we arrived, my group of family friends did not feel welcomed or respected as customers. When we checked in, we asked if we needed to inform anyone about our breakfast plans, and we were told we could simply walk in. However, next day when we arrived for breakfast between 9:30 and 10:00, the experience quickly turned into a disaster. Most of the continental breakfast items were running out and not replenished, even after we inquired about them. The three servers present appeared overwhelmed with our group of 20, and if they were aware they couldn't handle it, they should have declined us a table to start with. After billing, there were issues with our orders when the plates came in, and not everyone received food. While they did eventually refund us, it required a frustrating argument about whether we all had paid and if we needed to prebook breakfast. When we tried to resolve the situation, the two servers were unhelpful, while the manager, Monica, remained in the kitchen until the situation escalated. It was disheartening to see junior staff struggling to manage upset customers, using phrases like "get out." A simple apology would have gone a long way instead of deflecting blame. Monica's managerial skills were disappointing, as she neither supported her staff nor effectively handled customer concerns, something for the management to look into. Overall, this was one of the worst breakfast experiences I've had at Premier Inn. After paying for an unlimited breakfast, we didn’t receive what we ordered forget a second helping, and the continental buffet was almost empty with not even plates available. I hope management takes note of these issues to improve future experiences.

Overnight stay here was quiet and pleasant, only problem I had was the thermostat on entering the room was up at 28°c and it was like entering a sauna. It took a while to cook down as the window doesn't open very far. But, the staff were friendly and welcoming, especially considering it was Christmas Eve, it was exactly the welcome I needed. It was clean and a brilliant place to put my head for the night. The bath impressed me as it filled in about 30 seconds. It was a nice relaxed space for a busy festive night away from home.

The hotel is OK-ish, and rooms were not renovated for decades but clean. Breakfast is basic. Internet connection is slow - 0.9Mbps. Staff is helpful. Location ok, but it is noisy around.

Stayed there on Friday night and the room stank of weed and someone had left the air con unit on at 27c, had probably been on all day trying to get rid of the smell, but they'd closed the windows, so horrible night with a hot weedy smell! Feedback form on Premier Inn site takes 10 minutes to complete and then doesn't submit anyway, convenient.

Worst experience i ever had at a premier inn, i have been using Premier inn for years and have been a loyal customer, For the first time ever the person working at the front desk named Daniel Bolo was very unprofessional and very rude towards us and also had the cheek to say i don’t have to check you in after we waited for 10 minutes at the reception to be checked in. from other people i have spoken to said the same thing about this person which shows that all the customers that go there are not happy this person, i hope the management team takes this under consideration and does what needs to be done

Quite dated now. Rooms and bathroom very old fashioned and could do with a refurbishment. It's a shame the pub next door has closed and is now just a premier in restaurant. Food was alright but was like a ghost town.

The room was pre-cooled upon arrival (arriving with a motorbike on a very hot day), thank you very much for that. Everything clean. Beer and English breakfast in the airfield were perfect. Courteous and friendly staff, the airfield's opening times could be displayed a little better, all in all: again at any time!

Staff on reception on 4th August extremely rude ! When we asked if we could check in early a very abrupt NO asked if we could use the toilets as had been driving for 3+ hours again an abrupt NO if it hadn't been past 1pm cut off time for cancelling we would have gone elsewhere. Complained about this member of staff when we checked in later, again rude just didn't want to know . Be aware that the restaurant only open for breakfast then closes until 6pm for dinner . The surfaces in our bedroom were sticky also the stair banisters were very sticky .the only saving grace was Sabine in the restaurant in the evening a breathe of fresh air compared to the other two . These are the only 3 staff we saw .I have waited this long to post as complained to guest relations who have now apologised and stated retraining for staff there !!!!!! I must add that we nearly always stay at Premier Inns and always had great service and cleanliness but not here .

I ordered just one large item from here which was Beef & Roast Pork Chow Mein main dish (LARGE) supposed to be! The owner lady on phone was blunt. What an absolute rip off it turned up slightly cold and was a regular portion chow mein meat one.On the bottom was noodles then some grissly beef and the roast pork and a few vegetables.It was not even full.Very disappointing overall and the chow mein sauce was watery.The great Chinese robbery......The meal cost £9.10.

I recently tried this pizza place recommended by a friend, and it was amazing! This place is undoubtedly serving the best pizzas in Hatfield. The pizzas tasted just like they were homemade—fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Each slice was a perfect balance of a crispy crust, rich sauce, and high-quality toppings. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Nice, lovely pub with a good service. Lovely and tasty food, good selection of beers and spirits. Nice indoor and outdoor seating spaces. Nice walks nearby . Good vegetarian friendly options.

Wonderful experiencing trying out a new honey oat latte. Not too strong flavour , rather pleasant. Had cream bun as a take away. Thalia was a lovely staff member who recommended honey oat latte ☺️ truly made my morning.

The whole place is falling apart you can see how unorganised they are and they don’t have a clue the staff are just awful I was met by a very rude member of staff called callum couldn’t believe his attitude food is so poor will never be back! Bring back the beefeater premier inn staff don’t know how to run restaurants!!!!!!!!
