Nice hotel and friendly staff. No car park but there is a car park near by.

Well placed. Good staff. AC turned itself off in the middle of the night leaving us a bit sick next morning due to cold, but the kind staff fixed it.

I've stayed at a lot of premier inns and this is probably the worst. Dirty tired room. Heavy smell of stale cigarette smoke. Lumpy beds. No free parking. A really grubby experience. Best avoided. Even our kids thought it was gross.

Premier Inn Harrogate Town Centre Hotel ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our recent stay at Premier Inn Harrogate Town Centre was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was impeccable. The hotel itself is a perfect blend of modern comfort and classic charm, with every detail thoughtfully designed for a truly enjoyable experience. However, what truly made our stay memorable was the outstanding service from Rachel, who works Wednesday nights. She went above and beyond to ensure my family and I were completely taken care of. From greeting us with a warm and welcoming smile to making sure all our needs were met throughout the evening, Rachel's attention to detail and dedication was remarkable. She helped with our luggage, offered great local recommendations, and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. A huge thank you to Rachel for making our visit so special. We will definitely be back, and we’ll always remember the wonderful hospitality you provided. If you're looking for a top-notch experience in Harrogate, Premier Inn Harrogate Town Centre and the exceptional service from Rachel on Wednesday nights are the way to go!

Friendly, polite staff, although they were unaware that the new early check-in option was up and running.

The hotel is accessible via a rather stepish road . No christmas tree visible at time of visit.. Early December.

Don’t be fooled by cheaper price than the Hilton next door. Premier in don’t own the car park and its £15 for 24hrs. Pay the extra for hilton and parking is free.

Lovely budget hotel in heart of town, close to convention centre and shops. Good size rooms and bathrooms, clean and tidy throughout. Very friendly staff.

I think the whole approach of Premier Inn, is that wherever and whichever Premier Inn you're staying in, you know what to expect. This one was just what I expected. The constant variable is the staff and the food. The food here was, again, as expected. It's plentiful, cooked well, warm at best but definitely never hot. I do need to mention though, the Black Pudding here was fantastic!!! The staff here was not enough for the amount of people staying, that then led to delays in dealing with routine administration or being seated for breakfast. This was irritating as a first world poblem but in the great scheme of things, it is what it is. An additional coffee machine or two, would be a fantastic investment...just saying 👍☕️✔️.

A comfortable and clean hotel just a short walk from the centre of Harrogate. We stayed here for just one night for a local food festival and had a pleasant stay. Very quiet at night and easily walkable to all shops, restaurants, and bars in town.

Is what it is, a premier inn. Staff were great and breakfast was as expected. Rooms were ok, basic clean, had everything I needed. Parking next door for £15 a night. Good location

This is a super Premier Inn. Location is lovely and the room was very clean and comfortable. The reception staff working on Sunday evening 23/06/24 were so pleasant and helpful in sorting out my mobile phone charging issues. Thanks so much. Breakfast was fabulous too. Highly recommended.

Dirty…bathroom smells of stale urine. Carpets in all areas are grubby. Cold…asked staff 3 times to put heating on in room. Was told no heating is put on when hotel is full. Then told this is not the case. 1 and half hours later was told that there is central control that can be changed. This was changed and heating came on but by this time was shivering in the cold room. Asked for room to be cleaned on day 3. Returned midday to use room. Was told may not be cleaned til 3. Asked for cleaning products to do it myself. Staff member reluctantly turned up to clean the room. Got myself a ‘clean’ cup from downstairs. Had tide marks inside. I always use Premier Inn. This is the first time I’ve stayed where guests are made to feel that they are an inconvenience. This hotel has been run into the ground and needs an overhaul. I would not stay here again.

Served at both check in and restaurant by the most miserable young woman. Getting drinks for us was too much effort for her and took 10 minutes despite only one other couple being in there. Constantly muttering comments under her breath as well. Shouldn't be working in hospitality

I never usually write reviews but I am compelled to do so here as it has been that bad. Do not stay here! We stayed with 2 young children for 4 nights. We were checked into an unmade room and I had to make my children’s beds myself as they were so short staffed. They gave us 1 towel between 4 of us despite asking multiple times for more. Cleaning non existent, disgusting dirty room. Key card never worked so multiple trips to the front desk daily, never fun with kids in tow. The children waited 2 hours for dinner and had to give up and go to bed hungry in the end as it never arrived. Staff are clearly overwhelmed and don’t care a damn. Avoid this dreadful place. Our family Easter holiday has been ruined.

Just returned from a 4 nights stay at Harrogate PI. Great help and telephone communication prior to arriving and room allocation. Delighted with large premier plus room overlooking gardens, very quiet with the usual lovely comfortable bed. Only issues in room no water stocked in fridge and rubber seal missing on bath plug. We found staff very friendly throughout our stay, but like others mention - breakfast was bit chaotic and needs better more organised approach as food items missing such as fresh orange juice. berries, milk, pastries, milk - non were replenished even though well before time slot ended including the fresh hot food was slow especially bacon. More experienced professional management supervision and staff training is needed as seemed out of depth which wasn't helped by leaking coffee machine and plate machine overheating. Although good for local bars and eating out, pump house, theatre and art gallery we found it hard work getting from train station as terrain very hilly.

Avoid the top floor. Noisy from the heating for the hotel which is on the roof above.

Very slow check in, due to the automated screens not accepting details. Third bed not made up on arrival. No additional milks available for the room. Short staffed at breakfast leaving orange juice and drinks jugs generally empty. No honey available. Having stayed countless times in Premier Inns, this was by far the worst I have stayed in.

I visited for the Mother’s Day, afternoon tea experience, on Sunday (30th 2025). This was a pre-paid experience, including a glass of Prosecco on arrival (£40 pp, which is on par with Betty’s of Harrogate prices). Held in the private dining setting, The Barrows was lovely. The young woman who came to greet us was warm and friendly, but on her own. With no one else serving, it was very apparent that she was under pressure. There were 8 tables (some with 4 people on), all seated at same time. She did her best, but there was no time for niceties. She served the tea and coffee in hot jugs, with no choice of a specialty coffee, like americano, cappuccino, and no tea pots, for a proper cup of tea. Really poor for the price we had paid!. Another girl later appeared, to help bring out the sandwich/cake bird cages. This was put down in-front of us, with a quick run down on just the sandwiches, (nothing about the miniature, 2cm width cake bites) in a very rushed and quiet voice, which my mum couldn’t hear. She then rushed off to serve the next table. No offer of any more drinks, or anything that we might have needed. The food was ‘OK’, some of the sandwiches lacked taste. Overall a poor experience which came down to poor management decisions (with staffing levels) charging drastically, inflated prices, for a poor quality experience.

Great Sunday roast and desert. Very good waiting staff and beverage option also. The view from the restaurant is lovely and it’s very well located

Review of yesterday's chicken roast dinner. Superb. Huge portions and veg exactly as I requested. Thank you. I will continue to order. Good luck.
