Premier Inn Glasgow Pacific Quay (SECC) hotel in Glasgow City

It is in a beautiful place by the river, car park, easy access to the train station and place to walk. Very beautiful.

Poor experience, dust on every surface and the breakfast was p*as poor the bacon could of jumped back up to life if you turned away Paying for parking at a hotel you’ve payed to stay at is insane

The view you get from their rooms is immaculate. Friendly staff, kudos to the manager for breakfast. We were the only black family during breakfast and not a moment did we feel judged. I highly recommend this hotel. Price was good. Guess its one of the cheapest i have stayed. Very close to city center and restaurants. I could go on and on.

Hotel is ideally located, most staff are very friendly, breakfast is nothing special (a cheap greasy spoon at best) not eaten in restaurant so can’t comment. Hotel and rooms are very tired and needs a refurbishment asap, our room was a 2out of 10 very tired, pealing paint, cracks in walls & carpet was disgusting, basically it’s a £30 a night max hotel & not worth a penny more. Bar closes at 12 midnight and we got back to hotel at 12.01 & they wouldn’t serve us they also wanted £15 for checking in 40 minutes early at 2.20pm Personally there are lots of hotels in this area and if I return I would definitely book one of them.

I only used the car park which was ideal

Rooms are clean and tidy. Bed's are comfortable and the price is fair for what you get. There is a good menu to choose from and the price is average. All in all good value for the price.

Where to start... Rooms are immaculate, beds providing that guaranteed "good night's sleep" and very accommodating staff! We visited due to a dance comp for our children. We booked a table for 23 people on the Friday night for the Saturday night. Michelle went above and beyond to fit us all in. In true dance style we were running late and they were more than happy to push the table back by 15 minutes. A preorder was requested however completely understandable! On the night Nathan, Lauren and again Michelle went ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure all our needs were met. Nothing was too much bother for them... One side note... the manager could have tried to put a little smile on her face. Michelle for manager maybe?!?!

The self check in is a new concept to me but there are staff at hand to help if needed. There is a Costa coffee shop attached which is a great place to meet up with friends and colleagues

Rooms and staff were great. Restaurant not so good.

We stayed here while in Glasgow. Easy to get to from Queen St Station and was a 5 minute walk to where we needed to be. Staff were very friendly, food was lovely and room was perfect. Lady who was in the restaurant for breakfast, gave us a personal touch. Lovely service. Will definitely return when next in Glasgow 😘

The room was ok but service was absolute rubbish the starff were nothing but rute and dont expect to get a meal i tried for nearly 5 hours to get a table and staff were just not bothered i would stay at another hotel give this one a wide berth

Had a good stay in a Premier Plus room with river views. Staff and helpful and plenty of on-site parking.

The room was spotless as usual , the staff was very helpful and upfront with everything. The hotel itself is absolutely worth staying in terms of quality of service, location and price . One thing I want to note is that the parking pricing is misleading because if you stay in this hotel you pay half a rate per hour in comparison if you are not the guest . Nobody informs you about this when you arrive. So if you are staying in then never ever use the app . Only the payment kiosk in the lobby because you will be charged £12 or so per day and always take printed confirmation. Long story short the hotel and the hotel staff and restaurant is top service . The only letdown is the parking. Apart from this we enjoyed the stay as every year during Christmas time . Thank You and Happy New Year .

Premier Inn as always has friendly staff, really nice breakfast(you can go and eat as much breakfast as you think you can eat) and tasty dinner and really comfy beds. The location of the hotel is ideal for attending concerts at the hydro arena as it is a short commute via a footbridge, but it is 30 -35 minutes outside of the city centre which I don’t necessarily fancy doing on holiday(unless I was looking for a convenient location for concerts) as I would like everything I could possibly need on my doorstep in the city centre.

Ideal location for SSE and Hydro. Premier inn does what it says on the tin TBH. Premium rooms just have a coffee machine and no sofa as an extra. In 2 minds whether it's worth it but the fridge is.

I only stayed two nights. Everything was very clean, tidy and easy to find. Staff were very curtious and helpful. It was a very busy night in Glasgow that night. Will be booking again for next month.

Good hotel in a great location right next to the river. Get everything you expect with a premier inn. No complaints

Great location for the hydro. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Stayed in accessible room which worrying was on 1st floor we had to go in a lift. So praying that lift wouldnt break. Else i would be stuck. Rooms lovely clean and bed so comfy. Great bus links to centre glasgow. Brill

Great hotel for going to the events across the river. Typical good quality, although evening meal was lacklustre.

Quick check in even though it was busy. Standard room. No housekeeping for 3 night stay. Bed clean and comfy although it needed making properly. Bathroom clean. High bath makes it hard to get out after shower. Very Quiet even though extremely busy.

Great location. Easy access to ssec and ovo

Lack of staff at breakfast time. We had to wait 10 mins in a queue to be seated whilst staff walk passed us on numerous occasions, not even speaking to say "I'll be with you shortly", nothing.

Lovely room, friendly staff. Bit of a walk to train station,but under cover.

Excellent budget hotel for the SEC and Hydro

Helen & her staff greeted us at the reception on arrival.They treated us so friendly & nothing was a problem for them.The foyer had a local Taxis direct phone who were at a real usable price & also friendly driver's which made us feel safe.The restaurant was luxurious and the best view over the Clyde. Anyone who visits Glasgow should definitely stay here for overall satisfaction.Thank you Helen & all your colleagues 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Loved our stay here. Meals were nice and breakfast was a good selection ,beds are so comfy too. Lovely staff at tea time, nice river view too

It's a Premier Inn they are the same everywhere. Glasgow's was clean and quiet, and with an all you can eat breakfast. The only downside was the over firm beds.

Great place to stay, right by hydro. £5 to park till noon. Food fab, staff great

The hotel makes a good impression. You can check in yourself or with the help of the friendly staff. There is also a coffee shop on the ground floor with a good selection of food. The parking lot is large and can be booked for the respective duration using a QR code. The rooms are clean and tidy, but the windows cannot be opened. The price/performance ratio here is almost unbeatable. We will definitely stay here again.

Always a great stay and fab location for the conference centre and Hydro, easy parking and easy in & out of city via access to the motorways. Would have 5 stars other than the restaurant food poor

Rooms were great, I was here for the con at the crown plaza very easy to get there. They have a Costa on site which was great, The only complaint was that the restaurant staff on our 2nd visit were a bit rude to my group. We had to constantly go find them to ask for allergy menus, ordering and bill paying. I got charged for 2 drinks when I only had one, and generally it just seemed like they were more interested in chatting to each other instead of checking in on the diners.

Great hotel, fantastic service brilliant warm room. Good prices. Great breakfast. Only one negative the bar did not have any Baileys. I thought that was a pretty standard drink for most bars

The staff were absolutely lovely! We had an amazing time and will definitely be back again. The breakfast wasn't that great but it was only £10 and you could fill the plate as much as you liked so it was okay
