Premier Inn Edinburgh A1 (Newcraighall) hotel in Edinburgh, City of

Creaking floorboards outside my door (room 104) meant i was woken up every time someone walked down the hallway. Thin ceilings meant i was woken up any time the person above moved around their room. Train track 5 meters outside my window meant i was woken up every time a train went past. The hotel has a bad smell. The internet is useless. Our room never got serviced. I do not recommend this hotel.

Nearby Fort Kinnaird shopping area with tons of restaurant, just 6km from old town area with plenty of bus stop. Happy customer here

The window doesn't open. There is no ventilation. I woke up. 5 am I found myself sweating and the bed was wet from not getting any air. What is the use of a window if it does not open? Room 222 Hell A day wasted from my vacation

Location is excellent. away from the city centre to be reasonably priced but next to park and ride and the train station for a 7 minute journey into the city centre. if you are a light sleeper make sure you have a front facing room as the back ones have train lines running by and the trains are very noisy !!! The kitchen was closed due to oven problems but the pub, Cuddie Brae next door offered breakfast and evening meals and was excellent. The reception staff were very friendly. Our bathroom needed some attention... all around the skirting boards but the sanitary ware and tiles were clean and well looked after.

Three ladies hosting the breakfast were fantastic. Very polite and a fabulous service. The train station is across the road and only 10 mins into Edinburgh. Great location.

Perfect location to visit Edinburgh stayed there 3 days the room was comfortable paid extra for breakfast which set you up for the day. Next door is a pub/restaurant if you want an evening meal. Newcraighall train station is only a few minutes walk away with a 10 minute ride to Edinburgh.

Clean and tidy room, pleasant staff and a reasonable price. Bed was comfy and breakfast was delicious thank you.

Friendly helpful staff, clean rooms with adequate facilities. Breakfast is excellent. Lots of parking and super convenient for Fort Kinnaird shopping centre. Some rooms back on to the train track, so if you like your window open at night you will hear a train or two and they're not quiet, but theres always the a/c option instead.

Fantastic location to get into Edinburgh. Train station a 3 minute walk away. Breakfast was lovely, thank you Karen and Lisa, first class breakfast, service and a really warm welcome.

I had a warm welcome from Lisa. They were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. Their pleasant demeanor added to the overall atmosphere of my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a pleasant stay and good location spot.

Great place to use to train into the city avoiding parking issues.Bit of confusion over breakfast as the set up wasn't explained.

By far the best Premier Inn we have stayed in. 20mins (if that) train journey into Edinburgh. Lisa & Karen (in the restaurant) made us feel so welcome, time allowed they would have a chit chat with us. Given how welcoming Lisa & Karen have been we most definitely will be coming back for another stay.

Booking in very efficient staff lovely

Place is good, nice and warm. Staff could be a little more accommodating and welcoming. Update. A year hence, staff is amazing.
