Stayed at the Premier Inn East Midlands Hotel prior to a flight the next day for a holiday. The main positives were that there was absolutely no noise from the airport or the roads nearby in the room, the sound proofing was excellent. The evening meal selection was very good, I would recommend taking up the offer of a table booking on checking in if you need it as space is limited. It was a pleasant surprise that they cook the breakfast to order, so nothing sitting sizzling away in a buffet counter. Upon arrival I didn't get the memo that you need to register your entry in the car park straight away, I asked about this when checking in, but the staff member was in training so he didn't impress the need to do this, just that there was a terminal for paying by the entrance door. I subsequently got a letter in the post from the car park enforcers ParkMaven informing me of my "crime" of "overstaying" based on my parking booking - the charge is £7 for 24 hours regardless of the start and finish time - my "crime" was to have arrived at 6pm and registered my 24 hour parking fee of £7 at 8:10pm after I'd had my dinner. Anyway, after a post to the Premier Inn customer services team web site, I was contacted by someone from the East Midlands Airport hotel within 2 hours and the fine was refunded before it had time to clear in ParkMaven's account. Can't say fairer than that.

Had a fabulous stay at East Midlands Premier Inn in their Premier Plus rooms. It was great tonhave free water and coffees in the rooms and the rooms were furnished to a high quality. I also liked that they were supporting and arts charity initiative with the pictures on the walls a lovely touch. The staff were excellent throughout - polite helpful and friendly. Big thank you to Abbie Emma Jamie Pat Ovi and Liviu who looked after us so well in the evening of 29th November and Kia who did a wonderful job at breakfast time on 30th. Will definitely recommend and look forward to staying again.

Third time in a row I’ve stayed here on business and the service is outstanding. Meal times are always very busy but the service is as ever excellent and attentive. Special praise to Melissa, Emma, Abbie & Vicki for their exceptional care and consideration. On observation nothing was too much trouble no matter how busy they were. They are a true credit to the brand. I will be sure to visit again soon.

Used this location as a base for a Business Meeting at Donington Park . Checked in at 1500hrs , and provided with comfortable and spacious room on the second floor . Our Hosts ( Ami and Viki ), were helpful and friendly during a check in , and evening meal . Thanks to Becky in Housekeeping for providing a spare towel . Rooms were clean to a high standard , beds and sleep quality were excellent. Air conditioning worked perfectly, and necessary during our stay . Toilet and shower were very clean and well maintained . Decided to dine here on the evening , and although we only ordered a side salad to accompany a Lasagna- it was piping hot , and very tasty ( Not quite worth the money paid , but better than nothing ). *BE AWARE* Parking is NOT FREE ! There is a machine to the right of the entrance ( Outisde ), obtain a discount code from reception . Place your registration number , length of stay ( allowing for over run in your schedule ). Proceed to payment , then select add promo code ( where you will add the code from reception ) - which changes regularly for regular users of this Premier Inn . You will need to add your mobile number for your receipt ( You will receive a text receipt within 2+ hours of using this machine ). Discount was minimal, and better than £100 PCN Overall , an enjoyable stay , food served was very acceptable .

Rooms nice and clean. Staff very friendly. In the Premium Plus Rooms, there is a fridge and coffee maker. The wifi in the Premium Plus Rooms doesn't reach.

I’d give 4 stars but the wifi quality is poor, 3G on a phone is better. Changing date of arrival seems to drive the price up despite the hotel being pretty empty on this occasion compared to previous stays for a cheaper price.

Probably one of the worse experiences.. Room TV not working, room changed, Toilet overflow ran all night Arrived 6:45, first available table in restaurant 8:30. Once rooms were sorted popped to restaurant at 7:30 as many tables unoccupied and asked if i table was available pre 8:30. Table was available Meal booked soon after 7:30, arrived 8:30 😂.. and wrong , you couldn’t write this one Absolutely rubbish service and rooms with faulty appliances

Shambles. Booked for Sunday lunch at 12:00, admittedly we were a tad late arriving at 10 past, but staff arrived to unlock the pub shortly after we turned up! After being sat down while the lights were turned on and the pub was opening, we were served drinks and told that in fact the chef was busy doing other jobs, and no food would be served until 1:30 at the earliest. There was a single poor girl working who had been stitched up with no other staff on site to help her out. She was very polite and handled the situation to the best of her abilities, but why advertise 12-5 Sunday lunch when doors open at 12:15 and chef arrives at 1:30! At least we were told once he arrives the food shouldn’t take long, as it’s all cooked earlier in the week and simply reheated!!!! I’m not usually one to leave a review, but our weekend to Kegworth has been completely let down as we drive home this afternoon, stopping for a McDonald’s to fill our stomachs!

Staying here for my first business trip away. With it all being very new to me I was apprehensive about how it all worked, but the two ladies on reception I was met with welcomed me wonderfully. I cannot remember their names but they were excellent! Being greeted with a smile goes a long way! I’m back again in a weeks time and feel good about returning!!

We thought we would try this pub for the first time after getting a Mail Drop with a money off mains offer. We arrived at the pub which was lovely inside, both decor and feel. We had looked at the menu in advance so ordered straight away to be told the menu on the website wasn’t the current menu, so we had to rethink. We were then told there were no fries. So we ordered something else. After about 15mins someone came over to tell us there was no halloumi (side) and asked if we wanted something else or a refund. When the food arrived, the donner kebab I had ordered was awful! There was no tomato, red pepper and cucumber or sour cream style sauce as per the menu and there were about 6 tiny pieces of meat. I went to the bar to ask for the bits of my dish which were missing, to which I was asked if I wanted a side salad, I said no, I just wanted what I had ordered. I was then brought a side salad. Definitely won’t be back for food as this was really disappointing! Sent feedback about misspelling to Marstons and got rubbish stock reply.
