Staying here for my first business trip away. With it all being very new to me I was apprehensive about how it all worked, but the two ladies on reception I was met with welcomed me wonderfully. I cannot remember their names but they were excellent! Being greeted with a smile goes a long way! I’m back again in a weeks time and feel good about returning!!

Checkin team were good. Reception is manned all the time. Freely available coffee and tea supplies to take to your room. Room was clean but wall heater looked a bit rusty and tired. Plenty of parking spots shared with Brewers Fare restaurant next door. Prime positions are round by Reception. OK but for the price we paid not the bargain Premier Inn rooms used to be 💰

We stayed on the hottest day of the year so far. The site DOES warn you there is no air con. The staff went above and beyond to help us keep cool. Including supply of ice water at reception. Very friendly staff, convenient location near main motorway routes. Convenient with Macdonalda and tesco super store within short drive.

Great location, clean rooms. Nothing extravagant. Long walk from reception to my room though.

I found the facilities to be of a good standard. The room was clean and tidy albeit showing some signs of wear. The hot breakfast options were good particularly the vegan choices which pleased me as a meat eater as it allow all our party to take part. The staff service was good and friendly.

The hotel service was very good at Ashby de la Zouch. A particular call-out to Alice who helped find us a family room when we had a last minute change in circumstances and to Lizzie for the warm welcome. As always great comfy beds, lovely hot showers and a great breakfast!

Very friendly staff, couldn't do enough for you. We had a family get-to-gether celebrating 2 anniversaries and were given complimentary gifts. Food was good pub grub, thank you.

Shambles. Booked for Sunday lunch at 12:00, admittedly we were a tad late arriving at 10 past, but staff arrived to unlock the pub shortly after we turned up! After being sat down while the lights were turned on and the pub was opening, we were served drinks and told that in fact the chef was busy doing other jobs, and no food would be served until 1:30 at the earliest. There was a single poor girl working who had been stitched up with no other staff on site to help her out. She was very polite and handled the situation to the best of her abilities, but why advertise 12-5 Sunday lunch when doors open at 12:15 and chef arrives at 1:30! At least we were told once he arrives the food shouldn’t take long, as it’s all cooked earlier in the week and simply reheated!!!! I’m not usually one to leave a review, but our weekend to Kegworth has been completely let down as we drive home this afternoon, stopping for a McDonald’s to fill our stomachs!

We thought we would try this pub for the first time after getting a Mail Drop with a money off mains offer. We arrived at the pub which was lovely inside, both decor and feel. We had looked at the menu in advance so ordered straight away to be told the menu on the website wasn’t the current menu, so we had to rethink. We were then told there were no fries. So we ordered something else. After about 15mins someone came over to tell us there was no halloumi (side) and asked if we wanted something else or a refund. When the food arrived, the donner kebab I had ordered was awful! There was no tomato, red pepper and cucumber or sour cream style sauce as per the menu and there were about 6 tiny pieces of meat. I went to the bar to ask for the bits of my dish which were missing, to which I was asked if I wanted a side salad, I said no, I just wanted what I had ordered. I was then brought a side salad. Definitely won’t be back for food as this was really disappointing! Sent feedback about misspelling to Marstons and got rubbish stock reply.
