Good stay. Room was very hot but a fan was supplied. Everything was clean and in good order. The sign out the front could do with a refresh.

Steaks were delicious and very well cooked. The lady that served us was very friendly, helpful, and always smiling.

Met friends for drink in bar. I guess this serves as the watering hole for the inhabitants of the local Somerford estate, judging by the clientele. The young barman with receeding hairline made you feel as welcome as Lenny Henry at a klu klux klan meeting. Parents allowing small children to run around excitedly like it's a playground, which was both annoying and worrying. Tables were not cleared once; didn't see a glass collector all evening. The jingoistic flags on display certainly tells you the sort of clientele it's catering for. A real working men's club vibe. Nice for some people, just not for me. £6.00 quid a pint of peroni. So not even a cheap price one usually associates with these sort of establishments

Very disappointing for a Premier Inn. Check in very slow as both auto check in points were out of order so the queue was out of the main door. Be wary if you're staying in Room 11, there's just a large empty space where there use to be a sofa so just one chair between two, the curtains have to be kept closed as you can see into the room from the car park, the corridor doors are being used constantly and the creaking from them can be heard in the room and both the room and bathroom need updating as very tired. The only redeeming features were the comfy clean bed and the location as a short drive to Poole Harbour.

Ideal base for touring the New Forrest and surrounding area. It’s a Premium Inn so you know what to expect

Disappointing, we regularly stay at Premier Inn on visits around the UK. This location is good but the hotel is drab and tired both decor and furnishings our room was basically equipped with large empty spaces the bathroom is in need of updating. The long corridors are dingy and not at all welcoming we would not stay again

Stayed for one night whilst visiting the area, location was really good, close to tourist places but at an affordable price. Large room, clean and comfortable, bed was fine, no shaver point in bathroom if you needed one. Beefeater next door, food was very good for dinner (good deals if eat before 5), we also had breakfast which was also very good, and an excellent selection. Big shout out to all staff during our stay, hotel and in the restaurant, best customer service we have witnessed in a long while.

Not sure why the bad reviews. Stayed in lots of Premier Inns and this was par for the course. Great location for a base, plenty of parking, amenities all round, room was clean and same as any other PI room. Staff were lovely. Didn't hear any noise whilst sleeping. No air con but a fan supplied (only gripe, it was on a timer so had to redo in middle of night). Will definately stay again.

It's a real shame that not one member of staff could have made themselves available to assist with any grievances over the last 24 hours. My family and I stayed from Friday - Sunday. The sheer lack of service and hospitality on all sides is appalling, a nintendo game had been 'misplaced' from our room. The next day, as we were leaving I tried to find a member of the reception team to ask if there was any way it could be posted to me (at my expense) if it happened to be found during cleaning. No such luck. I decided to just call reception to speak to someone as we didn't have time to wait around, I have now been calling nonstop for the last 2 hours and no one has answered. I would love to be contacted by whatever manager reads this to arrange postage once the game cartridge is found. And just for a side note.. paying over £150 for a 'family room' is a rip off. It was the exact same size as a regular £50 rooms but with 2 single beds squeezed into it with no way to walk around them. Location. It was directly opposite some sort of 'car meet' and there were engines revving and exhausts backfiring all night. Not very enjoyable, especially with 2 young children.

No complaints whatsoever! And free parking (becoming harder to find at Premier Inns)
