Hotel has been updated since our last visit but still not 100% clean The breakfast was very underwhelming The young man in restaurant was lovely & I felt for him as he was on his own He explained that a party of 70 were in before us & there was not much left After 1 small very plate full and a cup of coffee we left Made staff aware of our disappointment Over £40 for 4 people is quite expensive

My family and I was on a trip in the area we went to this site like we have done to many a premier inn and for the first time ever I was truly shocked at the treatment we received. We went inside on Monday the 26/5/25 and the woman with mousey blonde hair and glasses was one of the rudest people I've ever met. I only asked a simple question about booking. We turned right around and went to the other Permier inn just down the road and the staff were amazing. Sadly that tainted what was a lovely weekend away.

This venue was booked months in advance for a group of over 100 people, expecting a well-organized experience—but it fell far short. The rooms were as hot as Hades, making it extremely uncomfortable. Smelt very musty. Communication between reception, rooms, and the restaurant was disjointed from the start. The restaurant could only seat four people every 15 minutes, which is shocking considering the group size was known in advance. With just one chef, service was extremely slow and poorly managed. We’d already pre-booked breakfast before realizing what a sham the setup was. There was no greeting, no staff checking if we were guests, and we even had to clear and clean our own tables—which is unacceptable at this price point, be aware there are no decaffeinated tea bags. Speaking of pricing, the cost of drinks was unbelievable—well above reasonable rates for the quality and service provided. It was so bad, we chose not to eat at the restaurant for the rest of the weekend. The only redeeming aspect was the staff themselves—friendly and doing their best under tough conditions—but they were clearly overwhelmed and unsupported. With proper staffing, coordination, and honest pricing, this could’ve been a decent stay. Unfortunately, we left feeling let down and overcharged.

No very good over all experience. Absolutely no phone signal. And to charge 5pound per night for poor internet is a joke . Restaurant run by inexperienced staff and to slow . Sorry but they could do better

Not the best of hotels, but I’ve stayed in a lot worse The rooms kind of need updating but that premier inn on a whole There is also a fair bit of road noise too and your located near the police station, which seems pretty active

Staying for work. - Poor Service. Late breakfast, Rooms ok, a little tired. Would I stay again ? No, i may consider another location. Breakfast From 6:30am. Well, the doors opened about 6:40, nothing was ready for that early breakfast. Cereals were empty for two days, each morning having to ask for utensils to the continental area. Main breakfast was pretty good once you got it. Plates freezing cold in the morning, even though they seemed to be on warmers. So your food got cold quickly. If you want to have breakfast before you get on your scheduled bus at 7 am, good luck. With breakfast opening late, you either make a quick takeaway so you can run out the door with it or eat what you can with the time you have. You can't relax as it feels like chaos. You cant complain, as the staff running the breakfast also work in the hotel on reception. Very poor, waiting outside the restaurant for breakfast in the cold for almost 10mins.... Open the doors at 6:30am as advertised, let your customers come in and grab drinks or continental while you get the hot breakfast ready. It's poor service to leave customers outside your advertised opening time. You may read that the restaurant is under refurbishment, it is, but the poor service has nothing to do with the refurbishment. Very frustrating.

Popped into the Premier inn restaurant on Bristol Road last Friday for breakfast with my wife. We hadn't stayed overnight, the place was empty and we were very quickly refused breakfast and shown the door.Probably just as well as with the lack of customers it was going to be dried up and disappointing anyway.Never going in a Premier Inn again!!!!!

Went to the restaurant next door at 9 pm after working a 12-hour shift to be told they stop food at 9 pm, ok. The next day managed to get there at 7.30 pm to be told they had no tables until 9?. When I mentioned the kitchen closes at 9 the lady told me the last booking is at 9.45 pm. As you can imagine I wasn't to happy.

Staff brilliant, friendly and polite but the restaurant had an abundance of flies for some reason even though January. I was then bitten by a bug overnight in the room and have been left with 2 bites to the hand that are swollen and extremely painful

Don’t expect to rock up and get food. Must have a 100 seater restaurant and they serve about 20. After a four hour drive I had to go and find some food. Bar and food doesn’t start until 6. Rooms tired and restaurant is cold. Best stay at junction 24 iGateway/

DO NOT STAY HERE ITS A ABSOULUTE DUMP, i stay in premier inns all year long all over the uk and this is by far the worst one i have stayed at, Noisey rooms from 24hr garage outside my window, restraunt opens when it wants doesnt have anything you order and looks and feels like a nursing home, the room stinks of cigs and damp, Wifi is rubbish even when you pay for premium. Staff are nice thats the only positive. Proper dump of a hotel.

I had a terrible experience staying at Premier Inn. The main issue was with the restaurant staff, who were clearly understaffed. They did not have enough cooks, which meant extremely slow service and long waits for food. This lack of efficiency ruined the dining experience and made the stay frustrating. Definitely not what I expected from a brand like Premier Inn. The restaurant was a complete disappointment. They had very limited vegetarian food options, and when I finally ordered a vegetarian dish, they came back after a few minutes to say they didn’t have any available. It was frustrating and unacceptable, especially since I paid £3000 for a one-month stay. One day, they closed the kitchen entirely, citing a fire issue, but there was no clear explanation or compensation for the meals I had already paid for. On another occasion, they flat out told me they didn’t have enough space to book me a dinner table, nor enough cooks to prepare food. The lack of organization and service made me feel like I’d wasted my money. I wouldn’t recommend Premier Inn based on this experience.

First time staying at this premier inn. It is probably my last purely for the fact that I was messed around so much. When I originally booked, I was told I could check in at 3am, on the day I booked for, and I even called after booking to confirm again. A week before I was to go, I called again to check everything was OK with the early check-in and was told that their policy is not to allow early check-in until 11am on the day I booked. That is fine ... but why was I told differently over the phone numerous times by this younger sounding lady? I guess it's because they don't consider the early hours of the morning the same day as booking, and I guess they thought I meant 3 am the following day for LATE check-in, despite me saying the words early check-in numerous times. This ment I had to stay in the car over night for 12 hours unable to sleep, until I could get there for 11am, which I was told a room would be ready for me due to the mess up. When I turned up, they had no notes on this early check-in under my name and had to wait a little longer for my room. On another note, the rooms are a nice size with a bit of mould/grime in the bathrooms. The shower was very weak compared to other premier inns, and the night was made umbareble by no aircon.

This has to be the worst “premier” inn, in the country, the room was absolutely filthy (138) and it stank of cigarettes, although there are signs everywhere saying no smoking! The carpet looked like a murder scene, and the room was as hot as the centre of the sun! No A/C and no air from the tiny window. there is nowhere to get dinner close by as the adjoining pub is closed in the evening, there is however a 24 hour garage right next door, so if like me you can’t sleep you could take a walk around its shop! Oh and don’t forget the police station also just next door, who charge in and out sirens blaring through the night!! One last point, our local taxi driver (we needed dinner!) informed us that the council are using this as a stop gap to house people here. From its state I can totally see that being true!! Do yourself a favour, the other premier inn, I am told is newer but more expensive, go there or just go somewhere else instead, do not book in here!

Requested when booking easy access rooms as there were 2 of us disabled. They offered us rooms upstairs without any lift access. Eventually supplied us with ground floor rooms. Dinner and breakfast facilities were pleasant at the pub next door.

OK - positive first. Location is good for access to M5. Negatives - the standard of this hotel has declined significantly since we last stayed. The on demand cleaning service, single tea bags in rooms, Mediterranean room temperature and woeful wifi connection would make me think twice about staying again. I know what the response will be - you can ask to have your room cleaned at any time, you can collect extra tea and coffee from reception, you can put the fan on…. Not sure about the wifi but in this day and age you shouldn’t have to go premium to download a WhatsApp message. Some people will say it’s good value for money. I don’t agree anymore as a long time Premier Inn customer. It’s becoming shabby and obvious where corners are being cut. Really poor - sorry.

Ordered coffee and breakfast baps and handed a 20 pound note over...the sheer confusion of dealing with cash ..was then told they only take card.when I asked for a card receipt I got the till receipt not the card but neither member of staff seemed to know the difference. Was told they don't print card receipts. Costa need to train their staff better in dealing with different tender.and people who understand that cash is legal tender still

food tastes decent but chicken balls obviously weren’t okay as i was throwing up an hour after eating and my partner was throwing up out the other end. crispy beef and chilli sauce didn’t have any meat in it was literally just batter. not a very good experience.
