I have to say was made very welcome and James who was at desk was lovely. Friendly caring and helpful. He made me feel comfortable and being away from my family on work he was a warm welcome smiling and asking me about my day after a tough day at work. So happy to get back to the hotel for that friendly face and chat to make me feel special. And a hot bath and tv afterwards. Thank you to James he was a marvel. Look forward to coming back soon and catching up.

Very handy for the railway station. (ten minutes walk.) TV didn't work and one of the curtains was torn. Restaurant was nice, but for some strange reason, no fish based meals shown on the programme were available.

Great premier Inn ,10 minutes walk into town centre. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Rooms were immaculate and the bed was just the comfiest ever!! Food was delicious and not overpriced although we did opt for the meal deal.

Worst experience ever. No telephone in the rooms (we support face to face communication). No heating (oh come on it is not that cold). Tv turns on by itself at 00:00 and remote does not work. I had to unplug it (trying to add some fun to your stay) Hairdryer does not work (oh we saw you have short hair) Bath tube is leaking (yes we might feel sorry about that) You have to talk to reception for cleaning. Hanging the sign on your door is not enough. And someone came to my room at 23:00 for cleaning and you know what? Yes I didnt ask for it. That town needs an alternative.

So I walked from the train station to this hotel. 1) it's mostly uphill so if was harder than usual (route also included dragging bags over a cobbled stone path for 200yds) 2) the entrance is hidden inside the NCP car park 3) no premier plus rooms so they're fairly basic and a little worn in places. Bed was comfortable... Didn't try any other amenities but there is a standard pub onsite.

Good price, accessible room was very spacious. Unfortunately no hot water in the bathroom and was woken at 04:30 by other people's alarm clocks. I paid for the breakfast for us £19.98 but changed our minds a week before so asked to cancel. Was told that it wouldn't be a problem. The day we arrived I explained that I didn't want the breakfast and was told it would be refunded within 5 days. It's been 14 days today and still nothing.

I don’t stay in the the hotel, but often bring my daughter for her tea. James is so lovely with my daughter, and I overhear transactions with other customers. He goes above and beyond and is a credit to you. Thank you for being awesome James

Good roasts with great sides of veg, other options including pizzas and more on a Sunday were available. Kids (4Y, 6Y & 7Y) enjoyed the perfectly sized sausage and mash, pasta and cheese, with a nice variety of classic desserts. Service spot on, not rushed. All nine of us and the dog really welcomed and looked after with friendly service, we'll call again when we're in the area. Just could have done with a check back and offers of coffees etc towards the end, but thanks all round for a lovely time.

We used to go to this place often, it was excellent. What a shocking experience it is now! On entering the place now looks bare & basic, we were shown to seats, but was at the side of a pile of high chairs so asked to sit somewhere else. We over heard the waitress telling a couple that certain draught drinks weren’t available, it made no odds to us, but they also didn’t have lots of items from the food menu, our food was dreadful & it’s evident they don’t have a proper chef, it was quite possible it was one of the worst dine out meals we’ve had. The toilets were filthy, with broken glass on the floor. Toilet roll & general filth. On going to pay the bill I said it wasn’t good. To which i was ignored. It was an amazing place & now it’s literally going down the pan!

OK. You get what you pay for I guess. Nowhere to eat as restaurant was closed but was assured there would be a complimentary breakfast of pastries and fruit. It turned out to be an apple and an inedible green banana. Pastries had run out. Apparently. Passed reception a few times and heard the same message to other guests. The room was basic but the bed was good, as always. A big mouldy mark on the wall where a makeshift repair had been made. We were situated by a corridor door which made a noise like somebody was trying to get into the room every time it was opened. Nice view of an industrial complex.
