Premier Inn (the company not the staff) have treat us with absolutely and utter contempt placing our health at risk and putting profit above all by placing us in a room which had recently flooded. On checking in to the hotel the member of staff at reception reported to us that there had previously been a problem with our room (room 31) in that the room had previously been flooded and it still smelt following the flood but assured us the room was clean and safe to inhabit. On entering the room the smell was worse than I expected and was overpowering, it was uncomfortable to stay in the room due to the smell, however after complaining to the reception and making the staff member aware of my wifes asthma which was aggravated by the conditions in the room, we were told there were no other rooms available and thus we had no choice but to stick it out as we had no other options available, nor could we receive a refund. Through the night the smell was so acrid I could actually feel it at the back of my throat and after a terrible night of broken sleep I arose the next day with a headache (I attribute this to the overpowering and acrid smell). Our stay at this hotel in Room 31 was absolutely unacceptable, to put a family in a room with a known problem (for a full fee I might add) just shows absolute and utter contempt for the customer and falls way below the standards I accept from the company. Its utterly disgusting that Premier Inn are willing to risk the health of customers by still using the room in its current state all in the name of profit. I would seriously ask whether the Director or higher level management would stay in this room with thier families. I very much doubt it!

I recently stayed here there was supposed to be a king size bed but only a double, the “ lightweight bed cover” was so heavy and as for a powerful shower it was little more than a drip. I’ve stayed at Premier Inns before and this is by far the worst. The staff however were very helpful and friendly

Stayed here a few times. For a few days too. Great, have to take the full breakfast, which is in a bar/restaurant next door. Had a problem with a cancelled flight, couldent make my reservation, obviously money gone, so I thought. Spoke to a lovely/ helpfull lady there. Who helped me. Which was great. Staff great too. Room allways cleaned. 10 out ov 10 for me...

What can I say, this time, rude staff, broken coat hook in room, lamp not working, blown light bulb, last time, no breakfast in the morning due to no chef, time before that, no water due to water leakage, enough is enough, we will not be back! NB, some “Twit” has put our room up to 27’C and with no cooling one hour later it hasn’t changed! This is bloody ludicrous i now can’t sleep so will be expecting a refund of some standing

Made very welcome nice comfortable hotel everything for what you need staff are excellent and will help at all time I've been here with work the last 12 months and won't go anywhere else . The staff are top notch excellent in all they do to help and help they do Darcy the assistant manager, Tracy and Fedricka always seam to go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable visit and will to help you with anything you require

A typical premier Inn, perfect for a night's stay. Rooms are clean and staff is pleasant. The only disappointment is the location, there is lots of traffic and waste all over the place. Not premier Inns fault, but a downturn

Good location. Last minute booking due to horrendous weather in area last week. A bit dated compared to other Premier inns, room allocated was a fair trek from reception. Heater in room made loud noises at all hours so not the usual standard of sleep in a Premier inn.

We stay in a lot of Premier inns, and this one unfortunately was the worst. Needs a complete refresh inside. There was no chain on the door, dirty walls and carpets, and the bathroom had a broken flush with a strong smell of stale urine. My 6 year old wouldn't go in it unless holding her nose, The front of house however we're really lovely, and friendly. We were unable to move rooms as full, she came with a spray of air freshener but this didn't last 10 mins. We won't be using this one again

A very good breakfast, indeed, well up to the famed, Premier Inn standard. It’s not the fault of the servers, or indeed of the management, but the place looks very tired indeed, it needs not just tender, loving care, but a significant amount of money to make it Fully representative of the marque.

We ordered food for takeaway. We was missing half of our order. The food was freezing. The chicken was raw. When I called them up to explain the situation they were not helpful and just offered to give us a voucher to come back. This is the second time now we have ordered from them And we have had issues with the food and service. I would not recommend

Very handy for the railway station. (ten minutes walk.) TV didn't work and one of the curtains was torn. Restaurant was nice, but for some strange reason, no fish based meals shown on the programme were available.

I ordered the Sunday dinner with roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. I also asked for roast chicken as extra, the meat was succulent and the roast potatoes and the vegetables were really nice, not over cooked. The place looks clean and the service from the staff was really friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend this place and will be ordering again.
