Possibly offer people sauce in a tub for their kebabs... Lovely tasty food though. Not greesy either

Ordered 2 hours ago, still hasn't arrived. The place is only a five minute drive away. Asked for a refund and been refused. Absolutely shocking. Looks like I'm going to work hungry.

Cold soggy chips the hotdogs was like rubber and shrivelled up missing the onions and sauces it said it came with not happy with the order

Food was very good but i ordered a chicken burger with salad and no sauce... It came with no salad and red sauce??

First time ordering and never again! Ordered a beef and cheese sub expecting it to be either steak or pieces of beef, for £5.70 i didn’t expect a hot dog roll filled with a cut up beef burger and a few strands of grated cheese! The prices was shocking!!! The hot dog was vile too and way overpriced! Hot dog and cheese was a plain cheap tinned hot dog with a tiny pot of grated cheese, £26 down the pan!

Delicious food never had a unhappy experience here keep up the great work everyone at state diner.

Ordered Donna meat and sheesh and it came with no Donna meat

Food is always gorgeous from here but the restaurant clearly cannot say no even when they’re snowed under with business. Our food was late and the driver seemed completely run off his feet. We wouldn’t have minded if our order was rejected as it’s Friday night and we’d have ordered elsewhere, instead we were left waiting almost 2 hours. It’s a shame because food is lovely.

Got 6 Scrans in, it was made very quickly and all 6 thought it was power. Best donner in the NLW.

Chips was cold 🥶 there was no cheese n the cheese that was on other was stale the burgers was bang on and milkshakes good 👍 other then chips 🍟 situation I like my food

Arrived on time, food was hot but he forgot the milkshake so didn't get it for hr n half more after call to restaurant. Hot dog,burger,fries and crepe lovely as was milkshake when finally arrived, def order again

Was missing child's ice cream completely, paid for a vimto and got a pepsi.

Food from here is fantastic ! Although bit disappointed to see the tiny amount of salad I received (much less than a handful) seemed abit strange. & also didn’t receive mayo on the order. Can’t fault the food although portions seem to be getting smaller each time I order, as I do order regularly hopefully better next time 😀

Amazing mixed kebab.. the best around Newton! Best I’ve ever had. The lovely lady on the phone made sure my order was perfect.. 100% recommend!

Unfortunately the driver left the food on the floor, without knocking, then lying to us saying he saw us at the door, so the food is now stone cold and I’ve had to wait for another delivery, absolutely terrible service

Fries are lovely. The chicken burger was delicious, and the chicken wings were the best I've had from a takeaway. Actually, I'll go so far as to say this is the nicest local takeaway when it comes to burger kebabs, etc.

Beef on burger hard, calzone not cooked properly- dough base completely uncooked. Food was not very warm

Would not order from here again. Pizza - COLD Cheesy Chips - HARDLY ANY CHEESE Natchos - £7!! BOX OF CRISPS WITH ANY TOPPING Rang the shop, said we live far away that’s why it’s cold(don’t deliver to Lowton then!)

Ordered quite a few times from here always have the cheese and bacon fries however I always choose cheese sauce and only seemed to get it half the time, will just be grated cheese on top instead. For this reason I usually buy a side pot of this cheese sauce however this time received a nacho cheese sauce instead of the normal white cheese

OrderedMeary pizza & they sent just cheese, last time I ordered cheesy bacon chips and just got chips. They constantly get it wrong.

We got after our order a message saying we had been given a discount stamp and if we ordered four more times the discount stamps would be added together which we did and enjoyed but when we received our last stamp on saturday it said we had 24 hours to claim our discount which we went to claim but state diners are not open sunday to wednesday so not fair as we kept our part of deal.

Usually would give them 6 stars all round. One of our favourite take always but the chips were not as good, oasis sent instead of vimto and a slush was missed off 😅 not the usual high quality!

I’ve ordered quite a few times as the food quality is great however tonight’s roast chicken was very disappointing. It was very very dry and crispy - like it had gone in the fryer - not roasted.

I don’t know why I haven’t ordered from State Diners before. The food quality is the best I’ve had from a local takeaway and the delivery time was very quick. Highly recommended!

How can I enjoy my food when I have not got it .

Poor customer service. Ordered large pepsi and got delivered a can of pepsi, ordered an oasis summer fruits and got another flavour with no warning. rang up to speak to someone about it and a lady said ‘hold on’ and then put the phone down. Rang from 2 different phones and they wouldn’t answer the phone for a good 15-20 minutes. After that spoke to someone else and they sorted it with me and was actually polite, got told someones coming now to take back the pepsi can to switch it with a big pepsi bottle… i was stood waiting for 40 minutes. 8:00pm i ordered the takeaway, 10:15pm when i got the right drink. I ordered from here because i saw good reviews and good hygiene rating but was really let down.

Awful quality food for the price. It was very bland and tasteless and too expensive for what it was, we both felt unwell after afterwards. Collection time was very quick though.

Amazing chunky chips ! And in a proper box instead of cheap poly box that makes chips go soggy Pizza and garlic bread first class 👍

The Codfather..Massive fish we love this served in a box so they don't get crushed and not some tiny thing like most chippys will be our goto chippy, many thanks.

Best takeaway in Newton by far! Driver always apologises for the wait even though it always arrives 15-20 mins early! Food always piping hot and tasty, never have any issues.

Will definitely order again, all food delicious apart from one of 2 cakes we ordered, the chocolate cake slice was pretty stale and dry and so we didn't eat that, otherwise all great. Long wait for delivery of 1 hourdespite being extremely close, though might be a one off if they were particularly busy

Waited an hour an a half for food to arrive. Called to ask about it they said its on its way then asked where I lived. It was finally delivered in a taxi. Food is horrid I think you only pay for the boxes it comes in.

When we found this place there was only one place I was getting my burger from, unfortunately on this occasion it was over cooked but it’s one time in maybe 6 or 7 occasions we have been here. I feel it’s a little pricey but when you get your food and start eating that thought seems to wither. Would recommend this place definitely and I will be using them again.

Food was really late being delivered which meant the food was cold and in turn soggy and unpleasant to eat, driver was abrupt and no apology offered for the delivery taking over an hour and a half to turn up. Not impressed at all with food and especially the service.

All tasty but considering the order of nachos was just basic with no salsa or sauces or cheese was disappointing and tasteless. Only thing that let it down as nachos is not what arrived basically warm crisps

The food was delicious. The man who delivered it had no reset to read off how much it cost so had to ask me when he delivered it. When I order from here again it would be nice if the person delivering the food had the reset to read off instead of asking me.

This is the worst takeaway I've ever had in my life the kebab was burnt the chips were standard nothing special the garlic bread is what you would expect from a takeaway out of 10 I'd give it a 0. I called up and said I wasn't happy with the service and the guy said look at the reviews your first to ever complain I highly disagree with that the reviews I bet are family members the foods rubbish domt bother ordering from here it's rubbish and a total dissapointment

Its hard to find a healthy option but the Mediterranean salad with chicken breast was AMAZING. Washed, fresh, well seasoned. This restaurant takes pride.
