Deeeeeelightful! Best dinner in the Uk

I recommend having dinner here. But if you choose dishes from Indian classics, check the degree of bitterness because the sweet may be a surprise. It is very clean and has very good service. The quality is definitely a first class taste restaurant standard. The quality price balance is very good. You will pay 30-40 pounds per person for the full menu.

Group of 7, popped in on a busy Saturday night, staff very helpful, got us a table after a 15 minute wait. Ordered drinks and poppadoms, which were great. Whilst ordering the mains, I went 1st, I asked if the Dahl had any cream in it? All cooked with butter I was told.....everything? Yes everything, so nothing vegan? We can do you chickpeas and spinach, cooked in oil. They advertise as offering vegan options, the menu has a list of allergens on the 1st page, however nothing on the menu has any allergen advice NOT ONE ALLERGEN ADVICE. My reason for wanting plant based, is a personal choice, but what if you have an actual allergy????? We were told the new menu is coming with all the correct allergen information? Food we saw looked great, staff very polite and helpful, good atmosphere and nice surroundings, just be warned, if you have any allergy needs ASK, because there's no other way of knowing. We left and ate elsewhere. We live Birmingham, the heart of curries for England, maybe we've been spoilt?

Great local Indian with a great traditional menu. Long standing restaurant in teddington that has never disappointed - if anything based on my most recent meal the food is better than ever and they continue to try hard. For my money when I want a curry I much prefer the traditional menu as long as it is executed well with fresh ingredients, and this is what they deliver.

We had a wonderful evening at Prem. All of the food was delicious and the service was excellent. We would love to come back again for dinner!

Came with customers and the food was of a good standard....however, the service was questionable with not being able to answer questions on dishes with any confidence and not knowing which dish was chicken or lamb when brought to the table.

Never dined in but the staff seem so nice , we always take away as its then easier to enjoy our food without worry about our 1year old and 6 year old getting curry all over the place also refusing to sit whilst waiting . We all love it and always get our indian from here. Non greasy and just full of flavour. You also get a 10% off when collecting so every little helps and just means we get to get another dish of choice. We love it and would always highly recommend.

Food is fine. However, the servers are beyond rude. Look as if they would rather be anywhere else than serving you. Very slow service and awful atmosphere unfortunately. Don’t know what has happened to this place!

Really nice food but service is shocking. Have been a few times and waiters ignore you when you are waiting at the door even if you have a reservation and prioritize takeaways. Although the food tastes good I wouldn't recommend or go back.

Food okay but very poor service (waiters and front of house almost acting like it’s an inconvenience that you are dining there) so I wouldn’t recommend for anything special.

Food was adequate but the whole experience was compromised by the poor customer service. Staff weren't friendly or interactive, and at one point we questioned whether we were invisible as completely unacknowledged. It was a shame for a family outing to be surrounded by such hostility. I'm not angry, just severely disappointed.

I thought the food was very fresh & not greasy at all. Delivery was 1.5 hours but it was a Friday night. Two dishes were stone cold, so had to re heat. But overall a tasty takeaway

The restaurant has an absolutely amazing team and the food was freshly made,tasty and in very good portions. Was very pleased with the food and with the quiet environment. Very clean and organised restaurant and definitely will be a place to return and recommend to friends and family.

Awful, just awful food. I asked for a table for one, took 10 minutes before anyone came over to take the order and that was only because I made eye contact with the front of house (assumed he was as he was the only one in a suit). It was far from busy. Drink ordered, whiskey soda, got southern comfort, asked to change and to be fair they did change it to actual whiskey quickly. Ordered samosa meat, got vegetable samosa and it was raw in the middle. Changed by the ( I think owner in the kitchen). To be fair he apologised. The meat one was served hot but clearly frozen and the meat was mush. Chicken Garlic ordered with basmati. Got the dish with Pilau instead. Didn't feel like complaining further at that point. Dish of chicken Garlic was so bland I asked for chilllies on the side. Depressing the level of Indian food outside of London, Southall. And very poor for teddington. They are lucky there's no other sit down Indian in teddington anymore. If this is cooked to the taste of local palates, I can't believe the clientele come from teddington. Last time I'll go there for sure.

First order tonight to try a local business food was luke warm and very greasey/oilily on arrival no mango chutney even though I paid for it and staff did not care mint sauce was horrid korma was ok but not very warm

Pathetic service. Staff didn’t care and not friendly. Had to wait 95 mins for 5 items ordered 😡 ! My kid was hungry and unhappy ! Food was not tasty. Price charged didn’t match their menu rates! Never dining here again. Never recommending it to anyone

The staff were quietly efficient. The restaurant was clean and spacious and we didn't need to book. The food was absolutely delicious and I will certainly be going back

Service not brilliant but food good

We tried so many different dishes and Indian is one of my top fav foods. Unfortunately it all tasted pretty much the same. Just different plates of oil, luckily the servers were miserable too

I expected worse than I got here. Teddington restaurants can be fairly pretentious - I speak from experience having grown up in the area. But this curry house delivered well with good food, generous portions and pleasant if slightly off-hand service.

Ordered 4 takeaway meals Tuesday. 3 of the 4 were unpleasant and there was a lot of waste. Used to visit Prem from time to time and this was the first time the food was a very big disappointment.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal this evening which was perfectly cooked and presented. I am already looking forward to my next meal there.

We found this wonderful restaurant by chance and were happily surprised. The staff are welcoming and helpful, the food is delicious, the portions generous and the prices reasonable. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Very Good food. Been a few times with a friend. Friendly service. Good food and portion sizes. Shame no hotplates though to keep your food dishes warm. But highly recommended.

We usually get a takeaway from here but decided to go into the restaurant for a change… from the moment we walked in the service and the atmosphere was awful. They took ages to seat us, we called and booked days before for a table of 6 and they weren’t prepared at all, the staff were ridiculously rude, it was extremely busy so I can appreciate it must be stressful for them but that’s no excuse to treat customers the way we were treated. We sat down at 18:15 and didn’t get our food for almost over an hour later around 19:20 and even then they bought out the wrong order and we had to wait even longer for the correct one to be made. When giving us our food and bill, they would throw it down on the table and when we looked at our bill they charged us a totally different price to what was on the menu so we had to point this out for them to change it and even then they were being difficult about it and said “are you really going to complain”. I’m so shocked at the way we were treated and the customer service. We honestly couldn’t wait to get out it was an awful experience, ontop of all that it was so packed almost like being in a club, there were people standing all around our table whilst we were eating, waiting to be seated. It was very uncomfortable. Safe to say we most definitely will not be coming here again. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless you’re going at lunch when it’s a bit quieter and maybe they’re a lot less stressed and snappy.

Jekyll & Hyde I ordered a takeaway for collection at 19:00 and was told to come in 50 minutes. I duly arrived at 19:45 - being a bit of an optimist :). Sadly the food didn't arrive until 20:55 - so basically a 50 minute order took one hour and 55 minutes to be fulfilled. They were obviously run off their feet and I felt sorry for the staff and the customers eating at the restaurant - who I could hear complaining about their wait for food. I made the mistake of paying for my meal when I was asked my name in the queue, so I hung around longer than I would normally. Eventually I got cross and asked for a refund. The manager did give me a refund, and I waited until the food arrived. Now for the good part: The food was really good quality and not the usual slop swimming in ghee. However I cannot consciously recommend it - since the interminable wait made it a once in a lifetime experience. Avoid - until they sort their staffing out - or become more realistic in taking orders.

Lovely atmosphere, food was gorgeous. A must if you like Indian, such a variety of dishes. Service was brilliant, we had our 20 month year old with us who was a little unsettled and one of the staff members gave him a little something which kept him entertained. Which was really kind.

Father and Son visit. Mixed it up and tried some new, all dishes were very tasty. Absolutly nothing left on the table! Would recommend, a great friday night!

Consistently some of the best food around. Even during lockdowns they've manage to continue providing delicious, reasonably priced curries and numerous other Indian dishes. Don't be afraid to order the spicier dishes though!

As always The Prem restaurant provides excellent quick service,excellent tasty food,friendly staff,if you want any information on any of there dishes staff are there to help...if you haven't visited the Prem for slap up meal you are missing out...

Waited 90 minutes for our food. The Biryani was bland and lacked flavour. As did the vegetable curry. I don't know how you cannot get a vegetable curry right. There was however, a generous portion of meat in each of the meat dishes. But overall - disappointing. Used to be really nice a couple of years ago.

Absolutely worst experience. I have booked a table for special dinner , and the foods took more than an hour and half to get ready. No starters,no water has been served during this time. It was embarrassing and waste of time. Never ever coming again.

I decided to support my local restaurants during Eat Out to Help Out!.. But really feels this restaurant sacrifice peoples dining experience and food quality over profit.. Very much a pack them in mentality!! Overcooked tasteless lamb Balti, served cold.. In a overcrowded, Noisy and chaotic atmosphere!!
