Pot Kettle Black Spinningfields in Manchester

Wouldn't recommend if you are gluten free / coeliac. When I arrived I asked for a gluten free menu and the waitress was very abrupt / made me feel like an inconvenience. I then asked if there was anything they could provide gluten free and then waitress just listed all the things which had gluten in them and then didn't attempt to accommodate for me. The only good thing is that a manager took my order. I understand that not all cafes can provide gluten free products but we would appreciate if they were a bit more understanding / could explain what dishes they could provide gluten free.

Llegamos a tomar un café y quedamos inmediatamente impresionados por el servicio. Excelente mezcla de té descafeinado servido en una olla. Le pregunté acerca de las galletas y me ofrecieron amablemente un plato pequeño con algunos tubos de obleas de cortesía. Un lindo toque.

Increíble servicio y desayuno. Rompió aguacate y huevos escalfados. Cocinado perfectamente Volveré para probar más del menú. Limpio desayunando - precioso

This was a great place for breakfast and the banana bread and eggs benedict we had were really good. Although located in an office building it still felt relaxed and friendly.

Never been into Pot Kettle Black and been disappointed. Small kitchen area must be hiding a TARDIS to churn out such great quality in such a small space, and the baristas are really knowledgeable. Great for a light lunch/ breakfast and a decent coffee.

The six of us had a well deserved breakfast here on our last morning in Manchester - what a great find ! Staff were friendly and the food was fabulous ! Great breakfast choices but the coconut porridge was just delicious 😋

Called here on a serious rainy day, having been to the one in Barton Arcade, wondered how this compared. Everything about it was excellent, the quality of the food, the menu and the relaxed atmosphere. The staff were a pleasure to be served by and very helpful. Definitely recommend.

Wonderfully delicious brunch experience. I was expecting good, but what we got was great! The coffee was excellent; the food was awesomely delicious and the presentation was brilliant too. The service was relaxed, warm and friendly, but bang on. A lovely start to our day. Thank you x

Food is really well portioned for the price, my steak was cooked absolutely perfectly and I was really impressed with the overall dish. The steak portion was actually quite large given the price (£13) and I was pleasantly surprised. My SO had a wonderful french toast dish that also looked equally beautiful. Honestly thought we’d get small portions given it’s a small place but overall I’d pick it over many mainstream restaurants.
