The owner is very friendly and there is a great variety of food and drinks available. It has the feel of a small diner with a good atmosphere and is mainly visited by locals. I recommend it if you're in Didsbury!

Good quality, well cooked breakfast. For my taste, the best coffee around. Good value. Down to earth and friendly.

Food always good here. This place was always our number 1 choice for lazy weekend breakfasts when I used to live in Didsbury. The vegetarian breakfasts were always delicious here too. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

This is a really good little cafe, the sort you don't often find. Good quality home-cooked food, meat and kippers sourced from local suppliers, all cooked to order. Clean and bright inside and good value for money.

I like a good greasy spoon and this is the closest equivalent in Didsbury if you improve the quality by a half. Good place with good value food. Opening times seem odd though.

Fast & efficient friendly service. I had a hearty full English with Bury black pudding for under a fiver. My better half went for the eggs Benedict. Very nice but I personally would prefer with hollindaise sauce. Make a really great flat white here. Must try...

Good quality locally sourced food. Love the all day breakfasts. Traditional cafe type food but with much more elegance. Good price, friendly, family run, clean, bright, arty (but not pretentious) modern setting, great coffees. My favourite Didsbury cafe.

This little cafe has been open for just under 2 yrs and we have been going regularly. Rob and sally have their own coffee blend which is superb, they offer a great range of breakfast foods . The meats and eggs are locally sourced ( no supermarket rubbish) and is cooked fresh . They will also cater for requests which don't appear on their menu.A classic little cafe with very reasonable prices. For breakfast I don't think you can get any better in didsbury.

I reckon this is the best cafe in Didsbury. Really lovely home-made cooking, excellent prices, top quality meat and bread products sourced from local shops. Basic breakfast is a total bargain. Coffee is top notch. Only duff meal I ever had there was the massive doughy pancakes. Other cafes in Didsbury may be more pretentious, or more aimed at the yummy mummy brigade and their monster prams - this is just a great family run cafe with great food at good prices.

We first phoned for a takeaway here 2 weeks ago when our regular chippy was closed. We've been so happy, we're staying! They were immediately helpful & friendly on the phone, reassuring us that their chips are cooked separately in veggie-friendly oil (rare, but important as one of us is vegan). We phoned around 7.30 (having phoned 3 other unsuitable places before!) & they were due to close at 8.0 but were relaxed and happy to allow us time to get there. The chips were delicious, even towards the end of service. The fish batter (for the one of us that eats fish) was crunchy & tasty and the fish (huge haddock) was succulent. Mushy peas were lovely too. The cost was reasonable and the portions were generous. Our experience has been consistently good on 3 consecutive occasions, and we're staying! Highly recommended! Thanks! 👍👍👍

Nice and charming owner, and good food for it's price. Four stars on food for not-so-fresh oil used.
