What a lovely little cafe with a couple of really nice owners. Stopped off for lunch and everything was made fresh and to order. Nice sandwich selection, great cakes and large tea pot - just what was needed for a cycling stop.

Imagine the Famous Five are out in the Lincolnshire Wolds on a perfect Summer's day. Having finished their packed lunch, where could they stop for afternoon tea? The Post & Pantry Café is the answer! As the name suggests, it is a post office and village food store combined. My wife nearly burst with excitement when she saw the gift items on sale. Exceptional quality and design at very reasonable prices. The couple who run the store aim to buy locally, certainly within the county of Lincolnshire, whenever they can. They greeted us warmly when we arrived, and we were soon sitting down to a pot of tea and delicious cakes - we can recommend the lemon drizzle cake, and the cherry and almond slice. Had we been earlier, we would have been greatly tempted by the savoury items on display. We were simply passing through on this occasion, but Post & Pantry begs to be visited again. We'll be back.

Loved our visit today. So reasonably priced we ended up buying a second round of pasties! Had the chocolate brownie, pot of tea and pasties. Super lovely ☺️

One of those secrets that you're reluctant to share in case everyone discovers its charms and the crowds arrive. We sat in the blazing winter sunshine behind the big south facing windows, having a superb full breakfast. Instantly our favourite place in the Wolds.

Something is missing from our culture these days, something you'll find in this delightful hidden gem. It's quintessentially English, a husband and wife run shop / post office / cafe. It's sandwiches and tea, nothing unusual but it is quality.

Stopped here in the middle of a cycle ride with 8 other ladies. The service was great - really helpful & accommodating - the cafe was lovely & clean & the bacon/bacon & egg/bacon & mushroom butties were amazing. The sausage rolls are to be recommended too!

I made a special 30 mile journey to sample this new cafe. It is the ideal spot for refreshments being in a beautiful part of the Lincolnshire Wolds and well of the beaten track. Delighted to see they stick the best sausages in the world, Mountains Boston, and other similar items. Enjoyed a warming soup and was tempted by the casserole. Only slight let down was lack of a sweet fruity option but chocolate flapjack was great. Will visit again soon and looking forward to trial if Sunday opening in Spring.

Popped in here with my son (and the dog who was also welcomed inside) for food and rest after a long Wolds walk. Good choice of snacks and drinks and all very nice.

Staying in Aby village for a week's holiday and had to try the local pub. Exterior looks a bit "tired" but don't be put off - inside it's friendly. cosy and lots of character. Excellent choices of dishes on the menu and "daily specials" board - we especially appreciated the choice of gluten-free options and Dawn was happy to go through each option in detail. Good portions and served hot! Very tasty and wholesome. Wide range of dessert options too and it was evident from conversations with other diners, that Dawn would also be happy to adapt these just to suit individual requirements. Obviously very deserving of the many awards over many years.
