Cena en Nochebuena donde solo hay unos pocos clientes. Desafortunadamente, solo hay 1 servidor, lo que significa un servicio muy lento. No fue una gran experiencia porque, aparte de esperar demasiado tiempo, también olvidó el pedido de nuestro acompañamiento. Acabamos de decir que olvídalo porque no queremos esperar otra vez y tener el plato de acompañamiento cuando terminemos con los platos principales.La comida no era buena La hamburguesa de carne y las papas fritas estaban recocidas. La panceta de cerdo crujiente no tenía la piel crujiente. Realmente lamentable tener una desagradable cena de Nochebuena.

Estuvimos allí para la cena especial de Acción de Gracias que fue excelente. No está mal para los británicos haciendo una comida americana.Tuvimos una maravillosa camarera Chiara muy amable y buen servicio de ella. Una gema definida.No estoy seguro de si me gustaría cenar fuera de su menú principal, que parecía un poco caro como era el vino.

Recibí el cupón por mi cumpleaños y tenía muchas ganas de ir a tomar el té de la tarde (una de mis cosas favoritas). Había reservado 2 meses antes y había llamado a principios de esta semana para modificar la hora a una hora más tarde y se me dijo que no había problema, la reserva se había cambiado.Llegamos solo para que nos dijeran que no tenían ninguna reserva con mi nombre, no si hubieran preparado el té de la tarde, ya que no se les había enviado un correo electrónico. Teniendo en cuenta que se puede salir de la calle para tener esto, esto me pareció un poco extraño. Me dijeron que serían 15 minutos más o menos, lo que no era un problema. Como estoy embarazada, preguntamos si podríamos cambiar el Prosecco por algo más barato y un refresco para mí, lo cual no fue un problema.Llegó el té de la tarde y, honestamente, parecía que se había lanzado juntos. Los bollos estaban calientes, pero sabían que estaban congelados en lugar de frescos. También se servía con mermelada de grosella negra, lo que para mí me parece extraño, ya que generalmente es una fresa para un té en crema. Los pasteles y las tartas bonitas que esperábamos eran en realidad un brownie de chocolate cortado en 4 trozos y un trozo de pastel de zanahoria cortado en 4 trozos. Los emparedados todavía tenían parte de sus costras y el pan estaba duro en algunos lugares. Se lo dijimos al personal y reemplazaron los sándwiches que parecían ligeramente mejores. Para 45 para 2 personas, esta tarde fue extremadamente decepcionante y totalmente organizada. Realmente arruinó un regalo de cumpleaños encantador para mí. Desearía haber tomado una foto pero no pensé en ese momento. Lamentablemente no lo recomendaría.

Good buffet breakfast, lots of choice. Hot and cold buffet, fresh food, not ridiculously expensive, needs black pudding!

The chillie king prawns I had were delicious; the steak in the steak pie was tough it had obviously been frozen and microwaved. Awful.

Éramos 3 parejas en el Radisson Portman Hotel. Llegamos el viernes por la noche y decidimos probar el restaurante del hotel, The Portman Corner. Eso fue un gran error. .El restaurante estaba casi vacío, la mayoría de las cosas salieron mal. Las hamburguesas de Cheddar de la firma vinieron sin queso cheddar, fue devuelto, volvió seco / quemado con Cheddar. Fue entregado a las personas equivocadas (uno había sido parcialmente iniciado) Los pedidos de bebidas salieron mal, el tiempo de espera fue largo. Haber tenido una noche horrible en el más terrible "hotel" en el planeta, decidimos comer algo antes de que volvimos a la carretera a casa. Paramos aquí en el Portman fue una hermosa mañana y un montón de los comensales estaban comiendo fuera dando un pintoresco toque francés o italiano. El servicio era un poco lento, pero debido al hecho de que estaba constantemente con diners feliz. apisonada Pedimos café y un desayuno inglés completo cada uno. Yo estaba comiendo aquí aunque no estaba hospedado en el hotel, la comida era agradable, la presentación parecía bueno. La camarera era amable, el interior era acogedor. Me he estado perdiendo algo a través de mi experiencia en este restaurante, sabes, simplemente fue bien.

Tenía un buen bistec... pidió medio y quedó bien hecho... estaba muy hambriento, así que solo terminó la carne estaba todavía jugosas así que estaba bien... Señaló que el servicio que estaba bien hecho... y el gerente del restaurante reaccionaron a la vez y ofrecieron...

Esta fue mi peor noche en Londres. Habían ido a cenar allí pero nos arrepentimos de haber ir allí. Tanto las entradas y platos principales fueron llevados al mismo tiempo. En el momento en que haya terminado el primer plato, el plato principal ya estaba...

Muy cerca de la estación, este lugar es bastante increíble para pasar tiempo con sus amigos para beber. Un poco caro pero merece la pena. La comida es muy buena también. Todo el personal era encantador. Regresaremos de nuevo.

During my travel to London, I was staying opposite the Hyatt Churchill hotel and was supposed to meet a friend outside for dinner. He suggested we go to Radisson Blu, which was nearby. We ate at their Portman Corner restaurant. I ordered for grilled chicken while my friend went it for the salmon. We ended the meal with a slice of cheesecake. What we both liked was their amazing food and along with that the warm hospitality of the staff. Also they has a wide menu selection. Loved every bit of it!

Ficamos hospedados no Radisson Blue e como estavamos com meu filho de 1 ano e meio, à noite acabavamos por comer no hotel, por ser mais prático. Tive problemas com o maitre, que foi muito rude quando fiz uma reclamação. Diariamente era servido um buffet das 21:00 à meia noite, na parte externa do restaurante e uma noite resolvi experimentar. Quando fui me servir, por volta das 22:30, já não tinha mais quase nada do que era oferecido. Reclamei com o maitre e depois de alguns minutos ele voltou à minha mesa e disse: tem frango! Mas eu não queria frango! Paguei 25 libras e queria comer o que escolhi, não somente frango. Ele foi grosso e rude. Reclamei na recepção e dois dias depois quando fui jantar lá novamente ele não cobrou nossas bebidas. Um pedido de desculpas seria bem vindo!

A crowded pleasant pub at street level and a fairly good restaurant upstairs. Inexpensive good food, fairly standard.Willing personnel, an Italian girl all by herself most of the tome with some fourth guests...

the restaurant is okay for breakfast but otherwise the food is unimaginative and better restaurants are available within walking distance- suggest walk if you are staying there

Tasty dinner, both traditional fish and chips, but also Indian food, steaks, pizza... with relaxing service and athmosphere.

Friendly staff, cosy bar area and great soup. Close to Amba hotel, well priced and not too touristy.

Saff were fantastic, food excellent, clean, great service, has an outdoor seating area,highly recommend it.

The menu is not extensive, but adequate for dinner if you don't feel like going out. The prices are average and the wine is reasonable. I was given a discount card so 15% was taken off the full bill (including the wine). The staff are friendly and correct.

Just too loud to conduct a serious conversation. More serious was the complete lack of service - asked for water multiple times and gave up. Same with tea - filled one time and then just completely ignored. Breakfast spread was bad value for money (somewhat expected in a hotel restaurant) and the bad service really made it a very unpleasant experience.

Having just spent our first Christmas without our Mum, we decided to treat my elderly Dad to a day in London before New Year. As a long-term Londoner, I would never normally eat in a Hotel Restaurant. However, it was at my Dad's insistence that we have lunch at the Radisson, as he had often stayed there during his Career.We arrived at 12.45 to a very empty Restaurant (only 1 other Couple) and so decided to have a drink in the lounge to start. The Waitress took our order and unfortunately, with very little knowledge of English, found it difficult to take an order of 1 Bloody Mary and 2 Tomato Juices. Almost 15 mins later, the drinks arrived with a receipt for £20 - £11 for a Bloody Mary and £4 each for a Tomato juice… without ice… plus Service Charge.We then moved to our table and the Waiter delivered 4 Fixed Menu's with 3 terrible options for each course. Instead, we then asked for the A La Carte Menu, off which 2 got delivered for 4 people. Having placed our order with a different Waiter, we then sat patientiely but could not help but over hear the Italian couple sat near us, complaining they had been seated for an hour and still no starter. The Manager was called to the Kitchen and a very vocal argument ensued in the Kitchen area for us all to hear - how professional.An apology to the couple was made, but 10 minutes later with still no food, they got up and left the Restaurant - we were now the only 4 people left. Having been sat at the table for 45 minutes with only a glass of Sparkling water, we enquired after our Starters. We were told a few minutes and low and behold they arrived. One look look at the Goats Cheese and Onion Tart told me, it wasn't cooked. I cut it in half, put my finger in the middle and the pastry case was still totally frozen topped with a cold onion relish and chilled Goats cheese. At that point, we decided to leave. The Waiting Staff were totally embarrassed and had no idea what to do. I asked not only for the Restaurant Manager but the Hotel Manager. The Waitress disappeared for another 5 minutes and came back and said she thought he was up in the kitchen, would I wait. Wait to complain?? Absolutely not - i told her to forget and we all left.Saturday 28 Dec totally ruined for me and my family. As someone who has lived in London for 20 years, would I recommend to friends or business colleagues visiting - afraid not.

We stayed in Marriott hotel Marble arch and ate in Portman pub/ restaurant several times during our recent stay and we found the quality of food excellent. You can have breakfast in the bar area from 9 am and choose from croissant and coffee to full breakfast, your choice. The restaurant has an excellent choice to suit everybody's pallet. The Portman doubles up as a pub down stairs with restaurant upstairs. We found all staff very pleasant and polite and prices were reasonable considering in London and just round the corner from Marriott hotel, marble arch.

Had a very nice tea here purchased with a £29 (for two) Groupon voucher. The champagne was lovely, the tea was ok and various choices i.e. earl grey. The portions were good but the fillings in the sandwiches were a bit sparse and although they tasted ok could have done with a bit more inside (a lot of bread). Scones were lovely and a good portion of jam and cream. The gluten free tea was also very acceptable. Very well presented, lovely attitude of staff. Really enjoyed it and would go back again.

I have similar feelings to the earlier review on here form someone who purchased a Groupon voucher. In the restaurants defense perhaps Groupon had been a bit unclear - linking the full menu to the deal for info rather than actual choices. The guy in charge was quite accomosating when we argued our point and agreed we could order the fillet steak if we wanted. To start we had the fishcakes and the scallops, these were both lovely. For main we have one fillet and one rib eye steak. Both of these had to be returned because my rare steak was cremeated and the medium rare was absolutely raw. the second ones were cooked better but i was not impressed with the quality of the meat. They came with some extremely overcooked tiny new potatoes, which i queried and they agreed to bring us fries, however the menu said 'chunky chips' so again we had to point this out. Most things were rectified but it was definite a 'second hand citizen' approach with the groupon deal, which was silly - the point of offering something like that is to entice p[eople in so they will come back without a deal. If we'd have paid £27 & £23 for those steaks i would have been furious - it would have been totoally unacceptable. What with all the waiting for things to be put right we had practicaly finsihed our wine by the time to the food actually came. In addition after we finsihed our mains, nobody returned to our table to see if we were ok, wanted more drinks, to look at the dessert menu or get the bill. In the end we had to get up and go to the exit and ask for the bill there. Semi friendly but odd service and very average food, along with a poorly handled approach to the deal.

Bought a groupon for the restaurant - £29 for two courses for two people. The Groupon stated that you could order any starter off the menu, up to a value of £9.50 and any main off the menu, up to a value of £27. The link to the menu on groupon took me to the standard menu. That menu had fillet steak for £27. Therefore, when I turned up for my meal, I expected to be able to order whatever I wanted from the menu, including fillet steak. However, we were presented with a two course "Groupon menu". This did not include fillet steak and did not have any prices on it. I queried this and was told that the two course menu mains were worth £27 as they were bigger in portion than off the normal menu. Despite my persistence, the restaurant manager would not budge and seeing as I had already paid for the groupon, I had to order off the "Groupon Menu". We both ordered fishcakes to start and rib-eye steak for main. The food was just ok - not a la carte - as described on groupon, but more of a pub experience. Both dishes were poorly presented. As we were leaving, we noticed the rib-eye steak being brought to a table that did not have a groupon, and it was properly presented in a la carte style (e.g. vegetables in a small dish on the plate not thrown on), thus I can only assume that groupon customers were not given the same standard. The groupon value was supposed to be £73 in total. The rib eye steak was supposed to be £23. If we had paid this we would have been bitterly disappointed as it was really only worth the £29 we paid for the groupon. Had we been purchasing a two course menu, this would have been fair enough, but we thought we were purchasing a groupon for the standard menu. Therefore the experience was completely mis-sold. Several other customers complained also and were fobbed off in the same way.

We had a 3 course meal included with our hotel deal & it was superb. The choice was varied & the quality excellent. Highly recommended.

Staff friendliness and desire to please. Breakfast excellent choice. Room was very comfortable and spacious.

Very welcoming and casually elegant pub on the ground floor and small restaurant on the first floor. Outdoor seating with heat lamps for the smokers. Food was very good - mussels, steak and ale pie, salmon. Upscale pub food in a very nice, relaxed settting. It became our local while in town.

Staff just was not up to the task. Dined there for dinner, two breakfasts, and an after dinner drink. At every step, the staff seemed to not care, have visible arguments between themselves, took too long to take an order, and just were not available to provide service. Would not dine there again, even if staying at the hotel.
