Had the best lobster pasta ever! it’s fresh and delicious.

This restaurant had been on our list of restaurants to try for some time, this evening we finally had the opportunity to dine here for my boyfriend's birthday and we are truly thrilled with the impeccable quality of every single dish and ingredient! CHEF whoever you are, we thank you so much for your cooking and for bringing the authenticity of Sardinian food to this nation. You are amazing and every single dish is to die for and worthy of it’s price! To the Sardinian people, if you are missing the taste of home come here! To anybody else please take the chance to really enjoy the Sardinian food here so you can discover what eating be like in one of the most beautiful Italian place while still being in London! A huge thank you also to the waitress and waiter that served us, perfect in taking care of us in a really good manner, me and my boyfriend we had a perfect balance between intimacy but still looked after too! Very pleased with your work service. Have a grate Christmas and a happy new year!

The creamy bottarga pasta was very delicious. The tiramisu was also nice and light. It seemed very busy with pizza delivery orders. I think I'll try pizza next time.

I dine here fairly regularly and usually order the pizza which is excellent! The pastas and desserts that I have have also been good, but the pizza is the star for me.

Very average food, especially for the price. Atmosphere was quiet in an awkward way.

Great food and great staff and atmosphere

Wasn't a big fan of the pizza but it's almost a moot point because the place is directly next to an outdoor smoking lounge. So unless you like inhaling large amounts of second-hand smoke - I wouldn't recommend it.

I found this restaurant by chance and had a delicious dinner. The food was excellent, the service friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was refined and inviting. I would definitely return. Thank you 🌼

Nice restaurant. Moderately expensive but not bad by London standards. Pizza good toppings 5 out of 5, base 3 out of 5, although I am biased as I prefer Neapolitan style. Don't have ice cream, way too expensive but the Tiramisu is lovely. Staff very friendly but could be more attentive, had to ask for a refill of water for the table. Oh also the water was not served with ice and was a bit warm. In fairness I didn't say anything and I am fairly sure that if I had they would have remedied it. Would I go again? Maybe.

Tried the pizza here and it was excellent. Located in a really nice area. The staff were friendly but the service was a bit slow.

The food and atmosphere were lovely. Be aware there is a cigar bar next door, and the small of cigar smoke fills the restaurant. If that does not bother, then the restaurant is a good choice.

Elegant, high-quality Sardinian restaurant in the Victoria area frequented by great film stars. We had dinner with 7 people with satisfaction and excellent service. We will definitely be back.

Oliveto brings the true Sardinian experience to London. It has never failed in the past few years. In its new Avatar and location the transformation is complete.

Ya he estado muchas veces. Muy buena comida, buenos camareros y un gran servicio que te recuerda, sabes lo que te gusta, cuidado con tus necesidades. Tienen un muy buen comportamiento y profesionalidad, pero por supuesto es porque son italianos y en Londres sin italianos no habría buen servicio. Prueba el postre de sebada ; )

Gran lugar para la captura rápida - hasta con la gente. La comida siempre es confiable y el servicio es rápido. Ahora que se ha trasladado a la antigua ubicación de Olivo Carne, el menú ha combinado los antiguos favoritos de pizza y pasta con algunos entrantes refinados. El sarro de ternera con bottarga era excelente y las pizzas y pastas son las habituales sin alboroto perfecto italiano de cocina sencilla. Tiramisu también probó casero.

Excelente comida y un menú interesante. Nos consideramos bastante familiarizados con la cocina italiana, pero no muy familiarizados con los platos sardos, que es el énfasis regional de este restaurante italiano en particular. Era una noche muy cálida así que decidimos comer ligero, lo que significa que no probamos algunos de los platos más pesados, como el Malloreddus Sardi. Yo tenía la Zuppa di Zucchine (servido frío) que era excelente mientras que mi marido tenía el Carpaccio di Manzo que él deliraba. Para un plato principal, pedí el Linguine al Granchio que (en mi opinión) tenía el equilibrio perfecto de sabores y suficiente cangrejo para hacer el plato sabroso pero no pesado o rico. Mi marido tenía el Trancio diTonno (atún a la parrilla) que dijo que estaba preparado perfectamente. También tenía la Torta di Polenta (torta de polenta de naranja) que era absolutamente espectacular. El servicio era bueno - - no excepcional, pero mejor que la media.

Extremely disappointed by our experience - service was almost nonexistent and food was quite underwhelming for the most part. While the location / restaurant is beautiful, we weren’t acknowledged for a good 10 minute standing in the entrance despite employees walking past us and it being 50% empty. Once we were seated it was another 20 minutes until they took our order. Ordered the tartare which legitimately tasted rancid / off due to the dressing and stale cheese (?) shavings on top. Mains were homemade sausage pasta and tuna filet. Tuna was actually very good and fresh, which is why I’m giving 2 stars as this was the only good thing here. The pasta was completely undercooked and we could barely find 4 pieces of sausage in it. Tasted like the tomato base had not been cooked off properly and was overly sweet. Just not good. We decided to skip dessert and leave, the manager saw us leave 2 feet away directly staring at us and not acknowledging us at all or saying goodbye / thank you although we did thank him regardless of our poor experience. Overall just not good and there’s significantly better Italian restaurants in London.

I came here for my birthday and had got friends to come down specially for it but it was a horrible experience. There was zero ambience in the restaurant which made for uncomfortable dining, our waiter was clearly overwhelmed and visibly stressed out and my dinner had a hair in it so I couldn’t eat it. My friend had to go up and ask the waiter to take the dish away. Really disappointed and would not recommend!

My first stop every time I visit London. From the moment one walks in to the effusive goodbyes upon leaving, one feels welcomed into owner Mauro Sanna's home away from his original Sardinian home. The menu is authentic, the staff are so well trained and most of all, the food is unbelievably good. Special mention: the spaghetti all bottarga! The best anywhere. The wine list is outstanding too, try anything from Sella e Mosca. Also amazing: nearby sister restaurants Olivo and Olivo Mare, plus the retail food and wine store next to Olivo Mare.

Nos encontramos con este restaurante mientras estábamos alojados en el Lime Tree Hotel. No tenía una reserva, pero esperaba una mesa fuera. Vale la pena esperar. La comida era absolutamente excelente y el servicio muy amable. Realmente disfruté de las pizzas y el postre. Sin duda volvería la próxima vez que estamos en Londres y sin duda recomendaría encarecidamente. El restaurante tiene muy buena comida y un ambiente realmente genial en una calle impresionante.

The food here was amazing. We ordered beef carpaccio for starter - very good. For mains we had Milanese - the best we’ve had and we’ve had this in many many places, also had a crab linguine that had loads of crab meet and was delicious. Our daughter had truffle gnocchi which was good but less impressive compared to the crab linguine and Milanese. We also ordered deep fried courgettes for a side, though at £7 not cheap, it was amazing - very light and crispy and seasoned to perfection. Also had the panna cotta, tiramisu and Sebada for desserts. Service was also very good. The only thing I would not recommend here is the coffee.

My husband and I both thoroughly enjoy all of the different Oliveto restaurants in our neighborhood. Each has a unique menu and delicious food. Well managed. One of our go-to places.

Best Italian (actually Sardinian) in London. Food is exquisite, made with sensitivity and finesse. The crab linguine is other worldly!

Good food but terrible service. Miserable staff, unhappy manager and negative from the moment we walked in till the minute we left. We have been coming here for years and something has clearly changed since they moved location a few doors down from where they were. Really need to fix what is a terrible service offering. We won’t be back, sadly.

The road the restaurant is on is stunning but Unfortunately, my partner and I both had food poisoning after visiting this restaurant. The only thing we both tried was his pizza which came with a cooked based but with raw cheese grated on top. Cheese can obviously be eaten raw and is not a big deal, and we just put up with it, I assumed what made me ill was the lobster spaghetti, however he did not eat it, so it must be either the pizza or the dessert. Completely unimpressed. Not worth it, sorry.

It was a delicious Italian restaurant.

The art of dining and looking ofter the clients is perfectly assembled here, have a pizza, have a schnitzel … just sit back and enjoy being looked after, the wine selection is impressive too. We cannot wait to return and sit alfresco soon.

Oliveto serves the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Staff are always friendly.

Good food but staff are rude - if you call to make an order ahead of time and order in English they pretend to not understand (eg I ask for CRAB pizza, literally the only pizza on the menu with Crab, and they had no clue what I was requesting). Crab pizza then came with hard shell on it, not great!

Beef carpaccio was delicious! The classic mullet pasta is also available♡

Panettone bread and butter pudding is something else!

This was the second time we've been here and we really won't be bothering again. Most of the food was good, but the service was poor. When we were arrived, we were sat next to the only other occupied table and then we waited over twenty minutes for someone to take our order. There are some lovely restaurants in this area. There's no reason to put up with service like this.

Excellent food and service in a simply styled, modern Italian restaurant. We had a couple of starters, and a pizza and pasta. All were delicious but the pizza was standout. The waiting staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. Will be back next time we’re in the area.

Oliveto ristorante e un posticino carinissimo ci siamo ritrovati sia con la family che con alcuni nostri amici che dalla puglia ci son venuti a trovare. Il personale preparato, attento nella cura del cliente, pizza molto buona, spaghetti o tagliiolini nn ricordo bene con bottarga buonissimi, delusi dallo spaghetto ai ricci nn aveva ne gusto, ne sapore ed era il piatto del giorno (peccato) ... Mentre i secondi di carne buoni... Ottimo vino... Un esperienza conviviale giusta... 😊

I recently celebrated my daughter's birthday at Oliveto, a restaurant that we both love because of our shared appreciation for Sicilian cuisine. I made sure to mention my request for a birthday dessert for my daughter during the booking process and again during the confirmation call. Despite this, however, there was no birthday candle included with our desserts, which was a huge disappointment. I ended up paying £120 for what felt like a completely ordinary meal. I will not come back..

You judge an Italian restaurant by how many Italians go and eat there.

It was a very disappointing experience. Much was made beforehand of the fact that we had to vacate our table after two hours. We finally got our food after one and a half hours, having waited for three quarters of an hour before anyone took our order. When the food arrived it was good, but the service was appalling. A very surly girl answered any question with a supercilious expression on her face, and finally when we asked for cheese instead of a dessert, she said very rudely "we don't do cheese". What?! There are some lovely Sardinian cheeses, so what is going on? My husband swears by Olivo nearby, which I believe is related to Oliveto, and in future I will go there. It is not a welcoming place to go to and I would never go again. No-one to greet you and take your coat, no smiles apart from one young male waiter. It is a restaurant, we go there to eat and to be made feel welcomed, we are paying customers, and to be made to feel that we should feel privileged to be there is just plain wrong. And it was not cheap. My companion was similarly disappointed. We felt that our age (70's) could have played a part in our treatment, because younger customers who arrived after us were served far quicker than we were. We just felt ignored.

Substantial menu with some delicious specials. Pizza very good. Friendly service and no issues with waiting for it to arrive. Thoroughly enjoyable lunch.

It appears that they have a lack of staff. Ensure you have alot of time to waste to be served.

Food was nice enough and some staff very helpful, but one was in a rush to move us on as they were “busy” had the bill thrust in my face .. I thought it was a guide map.. I had pizza which was ok, but I have had better.

This is a good Italian restaurant in a fashionable part of town. The decor is simple, the room is simple, and the food is good. Nothing exceptional, but quite satisfactory.

Small food portions and too expensive Employee were not nice, i think that the lady in charge of our table wasn’t happy to work yesterday, you could say it looking at her face. I had booked 3 weeks in advance thinking that it would be a great experience and it wasn’t

We did not have a reservation and they were still able to get us in immediately. The food was exquisite, served quickly, and reasonably priced. A must.

Delicious food. I had the asparagus with poached egg and a generous amount of truffle shavings. Shared the rack of lamb which came as requested medium rare. Delicious red wine.

Very nice Italian restaurant in Central London. Love the small house yet vibrant atmosphere. They always serve great pasta and i love their seafood in particular. This time i tried the full lobster linguine. It's something not to be missed.

Last week I had the misfortune of dining at Oliveto. I decided to try the ravioli. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. Not only was the portion size tiny (5 pieces) but there wasn't much filling in the ravioli (almost flat) It felt like I was eating air. To make matters worse, the dish was incredibly overpriced (20 pounds) for what I received. I left the restaurant feeling hungry and cheated. speaking of prices, they also automatically add a 15% service fee to the bill, regardless of the quality of service. Ravioli from Tesco are more delicious and far cheaper. Besides, the staff was rude and condescending, making fun of customers who didn't correctly pronounce the names of the dishes in Italian. It was clear that they thought they were superior and the customers were beneath them. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The staff's attitude and behavior was completely unacceptable, and the food and service were not worth the high prices. Save your money and go somewhere else where you'll be treated with respect and the food and service are actually worth the cost.

This restaurant is located in one of the most beautiful neighborhood. We dined in late at night and it was not very busy. We had asparagus with truffle and tagliatelle with red ham then lamb shank and cutlet for red house wine. The food and wine quality is just decent. Staff members were polite but not very friendly unlike other Olivo restaurans but it could be the theme of the restaurant. They could have asked us for a refill of breads and water. Price is not very competitive but rise in CPI may explain and their food/wine quality is above the standard. Thanks.

Used to be a nice place. Went to dinner with friends Thursday. The gentleman serving us - made it a point to correct a word I said wrong in italian and mock it. - proceeded to drop, by accident, a dirty fork on our clothes, staining them, but didn’t apologise. Just made a sarcastic joke about not charging us for bottarga… Mediocre food, mediocre service. Overpriced. I’m married to an italian. I’d call this italian food for those who don’t know better. Won’t be coming back

We went yesterday with our newborn baby, and they didn’t let us in. I found this very discriminatory, the restaurant was half empty and the baby was peacefully sleeping. Very disappointing.. of course we won’t go again.

Chose the restaurant because ir seemed to have good gluten free options and I have coeliac disease. But the uninterested waiter, when he finally came to take our order, told me they cook gf in the same water as wheat pasta. Why on earth? My happily anticipated evening with an old friend would have been nicer elsewhere.

Came here as a group of four, the service was exceptional. Food was delicious, Steak cooked perfectly, drinks made with passion. Will definitely come back

We went to OlivoCarne for my birthday and it was simply great. Great and elegant atmosphere, delicious food and the prices are okay. We went to Olivo by mistake and the staff were super nice and redirected us to OlivoCarne. Can't wait to try the other ones too!

Arrived just before 9pm on a Saturday evening and was told to hurry up and order as they were stopping serving. Raised this with the staff when leaving but they just got aggressive. I work in hospitality and this sort of thing is sad to see - if this were my staff they'd get a good talking to. Food is pretty good but as others have said it's way overpriced - plenty of other options locally if you want something either less expensive or 'posher'.

I had been a big fun of the restaurant. But today, a lady next our table started smoking inside and nobody told her not to even we were still enjoying coffee and tea. That was such a disappointment for us. The lady seemed friend of the staff.

In vacanza a Londra con la mia dolce metà , ci imbattiamo in questo incantevole locale di cucina tipica italiana (Sarda). Dopo essere stati accolti con un sorriso da Carlotta , siamo stati accompagnati al tavolo da Laura, di una gentilezza fuori dal comune. Andrea con cura e attenzione per la mia intolleranza al glutine mi ha indirizzato a scegliere un ottimo e abbondante piatto di pasta al granchio senza glutine, mentre la mia ragazza vegetariana, ha goduto di una pizza con un ottimo impasto. Matteo ha coronato la cena con 2 ottimi Caffe. Congliatissimo

Beautiful food and great service

We didn't have a reservation but there was a few tables free, including outside. The waiter told us that they're fully booked but then proceeded to sit down another family who didn't have a reservation either, we questioned the waiter about it and he said ''they know him'' even though the interaction said otherwise. Very odd.
