The food is always great at Ergon, especially their weekday lunch specials. Staff is friendly too. I always send people here!

The breakfast is very good and the prices are reasonable.

Fantastic Greek fare with rich flavours and beautiful plating. A must try in spite of the slightly longer waiting times as the food fresh! The Greek yogurt pancakes and Peinirli are must tries

They have masala as a day dish. It was not hot and they wouldn’t heat it. The Greek salad was with rotten tomato’s and the avocado toast was unbeatable. Avoid at all costs

Great breakfast place! The pancakes were delicious (I got them with yogurt and fruit) and the coffee was quite good as well. My only complaint would be that the portion of fruit was a bit sad but the portions overall were quite large. Additionally, we arrived at 9 on a Saturday and did not have to wait for a table.

Food , coffee and hot chocolate was really good, but unfortunately they have a weird system where you have to download the app and get in the queue to be seated and it is always a very long waiting time.In addition there is no one at the door checking on you and i had to ask the waiters multiple times, might be worth ditching the app and having someone at the door, since it is clearly busy and could use that.Great for takeaway though , that was quick

Really tasty food/breakfast: the koulouri with poached eggs is to die for. I will probably come back for this, whenever I'm in the neighborhood. The staff were nice, but I don't get why every table is just not given a small bottle/carafe of water: you had to ask for it (I just got one glass of water...). Also staff were nice, as I mentioned, but it didn't feel like a really warm or caring service. I would say it was fine, mediocre (but not bad). If service steps up their game, this could easily be 4 stars.

I bought a feta and slinach pastry. Staff were not very friendly. They did not greet me or smile. Parts of the pastry was not cooked and was bland. Would not recommend.

It's so wrong, I swear to God, he wants to come twice and live again Shakshuka 😫🔥 has flavors and strange, beautiful things, and we took the halloumi sandwich with pesto and tomatoes after it was amazing. Next time 🫢 I will try the egg sandwich with avocado, 😂 I would have liked to have photographed the plate with the number of crimes, but promise next time, yes, the place is small and knowledgeable, but affectionate. Update Sept 2024: Adding a star due to an excellent sandwich take-away. Nice interior and concept. Food surprisingly bland though, distinctly lacking any seasoning (tasteless chicken avo salad bowl; eggs on koulouri had little or no flavour, strangely). Coffee prep (Cappuccino) lacked the barista skills and presentation required at this competitive level of operation (and not a fan of the unergonomic cup: design for the sake of being different). Service was ok. Not sure about the QR app booking/queueing method: people outside blocking the pavement to pedestrians, and causes other issues when people don't turn up for their table: staff ejected an elderly solo gent from a supposedly booked table of four to no avail: the party of four did not materialize. With steady continuous improvement this place has potential to excel, but it's not a verb I'd use presently. It wins commercially (I guess) as it is: on strength of location and sheer footfall. On the whole, looks good, but below par.

Got the green shakshouka, koulouri and croissant. All dishes were not warm at all. We asked to have the cold croissant warmed but they refused, citing no microwave. Didn’t realize a restaurant could not have an oven in their kitchen?

One of the best breakfasts in London! Everything was perfect. Food 10/10, presentation 10/10, and service 10/10. The only small downside is the wait time, but it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

This is my second experience in the restaurant. I gave it a chance, but I find it very ordinary. The bread is dry and the garlic and onion flavor is very strong.

Ergon Deli was one of my favorite spots in London, but lately the service and the rudeness of the workers there is un acceptable. Especially the girl with the hair scarf. I would choose good service over food. Will never go back again.

Had a nice breakfast! We tried the poached egg on bagel “Koulouri” and the “Peinirli” both were excellent choices, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The coffee was also great, pairing perfectly with the meal. The café itself is beautifully decorated with a simple yet inviting atmosphere. They offer a nice selection of pastries and cakes, making it a great spot for a sweet treat as well. The staff are friendly, and the service is quick. I’d recommend visiting earlier in the morning as it gets busier throughout the day!

This is a busy place- it’s big online and so you have to scan a QR code to queue. Me and my friend waited 25 minutes for a table for two. When we were sat the tables are quite close together and then when we ordered I was told they didn’t have three of the menu options I wanted available (they’d only been open for two hours) and I later overheard waitstaff telling another table they didn’t have something else too so if you’re ordering have a backup! I had the green shakshuka that is mainly cheese. This surprised me because I didn’t think it would be the main ingredient that I could taste. I also got the green smoothie which was extremely strong in honey taste (which was not a listed ingredient) i was pretty put off by how sweet the fruit smoothie was that I didn’t even finish it. It was also in a small glass and cost £6. I’m not usually fussy but there were so many small things that made this a bad experience in terms of dining. The weird mug that was hard not to spill (see pic), the weirdly sweet tiny smoothie, the lack of avaliable food, the long wait, the overpowering flavours in the dishes. All a bit much to enjoy any of it. Which was a shame.

Delicious, but the eggs with truffles are sometimes heavy, but sweet, and the cortado is sweet, but the shakshuka is not praised at all. It is worth a visit and I will come back and the workers are nice.

My partner and I visited for a quick lunch as we work nearby, but unfortunately, our experience was deeply concerning. When the server took our order, he was diligent in asking about allergies, and we made it clear that my partner has a nut allergy. We both wanted the pesto sourdough melt and specifically asked if the pesto contained any nuts. The server was unsure, so he went to check and later assured us that it did not contain nuts, only possible traces, which my partner can tolerate. However, within just a few bites, my partner’s mouth and throat began to swell. Alarmed, we asked another server to confirm whether the pesto contained nuts, and he casually responded, “There are always nuts in pesto.” When we explained that we had been assured otherwise and noted no such allergen outlined on the menu, he checked with the kitchen and returned to inform us that the pesto was made with pistachios. This level of negligence regarding food safety is not only unacceptable but also dangerous. Given that allergies were clearly communicated, it is shocking that such a serious mistake was made. Accurate allergen information is not optional, it is essential for customer safety. Had my partner not questioned the ingredients, the outcome could have been far worse had he not had time to counteract his reaction with medication. For those with nut allergies, I strongly advise caution when dining here. I sincerely hope the management takes immediate action to ensure staff are properly trained in food safety regulations to prevent such a serious mistake from happening again.

Their service is poor and there are delays, and the mood of Waiters is poor You feel like you are in Turkey in the month of 8. I sat for over an hour and my order did not arrive until I got up to walk.

The other day I had the worst experience ever! Me and my 60 year old mom had to wait in line for more than an hour in the cold, and with such ignorance the manager would step out to say that we no longer accept people who didn't scan the bar code! Excuse me?First of all, there was no waiter to guide us thru the procedures of the place, and second after waiting without us knowing about this policy he would just say everyone has to leave. He didn't even care that my mom being a senior and was tired of standing in line for hours! The manager was so rude , incosederate, and disrespectful! Would not recommend this place to anyone. The hype is not worth it. So not going again, and have told everyone about this! There are lots of better cafes with good service!

We had a lovely breakfast at Ergon Deli today. The place was cozy and had a great atmosphere, perfect for a actives morning. Their specialty coffee was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. However, the portion sizes were surprisingly large. The shakshuka came with an oversized bread, and the avocado with poached egg was also served in a very big plate—easily enough for three people. While we enjoyed the flavors, a slightly smaller portion would have been ideal. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!

One of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots in London.

Food was tasty and good portions, however still very expensive for brunch. Small juices considering they were 6£. Waiters were not attentive but when they do talk to you they were nice. One waiter did not wear a hair tie, this is unprofessional behaviour considering that this place is very popular. Also this queuing is ridiculous, we waited 2 hours for our table and the place had many free tables available. We ate in the extra room. It was stuffy and smelled interesting. Music was good though and interior design was nice. Toilet was however dirty.

While the food was excellent, the overall experience was unfortunately overshadowed by poor service. Upon arrival, the staff gave the impression that customers were an inconvenience, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. After a lengthy two-hour wait, my latte was served cold. When I politely brought this to the attention of the waitress, her response was dismissive, which was quite disappointing. I understand the restaurant was busy, and I appreciate the demands of such an environment; however, basic courtesy and attentiveness are fundamental to good customer service. Additionally, as I do not eat bacon, I requested to substitute it with extra feta or avocado. To my surprise, this request was refused, which I found unusual given that many other establishments accommodate such dietary preferences. While the food was enjoyable, the service left much to be desired and greatly diminished the overall experience. I hope these issues can be addressed to ensure a more positive experience for future patrons. Was fort time visiting this place but I don’t think I will be back .

I am highly dissatisfied. We went to Ergon deli today after seeing it highly recommended on tiktok. The first red flag was the dismissive staff when we went to ask for table because we had no idea about the QR code outside. When we got a table and ordered my boyfriends food came out 15 minutes before mine… I ordered a ham and cheese toastie, when it arrived the cheese wasn’t even melted. It was inedible. When we wen to pay we weren’t asked if our food was okay we were simply handed or bill. We then left after barley eating our food. We will not be returning. The service here is horrible.

It serves a very delicious Greek breakfast, close to the Arabic breakfast. There is waiting and reservations are made by barcode, and it can be made through the website.

One of the worst dining experiences in London so far. I don’t get why this restaurant is sooo overrated. The queue was super long, like 80 mins, not really a whole lot of complaints for that because there are indeed a lot of people got “scammed” by social media and wanted to come here and give it try. However, the experience started to get disappointing when we got into the restaurant; tables are wet, no utensils and plates served, water came only when we asked (glasses were very dirty at the bottom). And the most surprising thing is that there’s only one waitress for the entire half of the restaurant. A single lady is serving at least ten tables, so you can only imagine how inefficient the service was. The food came very late, and we immediately found three out of the four dishes are cold/ room temperature. Then I asked one waiter if that is how it supposed to be like. And he told me yea they just like that because of there yogurt blablabla. Okay fine I take it. But that is just not what I expected for brunches. Lastly, I wanted to mention that we observed the waitress was arguing with two customers over a seating issue. The whole argument lasted at least 8-10 mins. And the male waiter joined the conversation later, and it looks like that waiter wanted the customers to leave, so he kept the door open for several minutes and the cold wind from outside was blowing in all that time…… making the cold food even colder… what a joke…

I arrived at it after I booked through their website while I was at the hotel and the reservation is a queue and it tells you the remaining time and the number of tables. My reservation time coincided with me having about 90 minutes to go. This is the best solution to book in advance to avoid long standing at the door of the restaurant 😊 The first thing I noticed is that the service is very slow in terms of taking orders or even preparing them, and I think that the exaggerated delay is the reason for the long queue...😄 I ordered shakshuka ❤️, very excellent, semolina with eggs, coffee and tea. The taste was very excellent and worth the wait. I think I will go back to them again to try the pancakes

Shakuka is the most delicious thing I have tasted from them. It is normal that I go back to it, but just because of it.. 10/10 I don't recommend the white layer of the pancake as it is yoghurt, it tastes great, 2/10 Bagel with sesame, eggs with labneh, but I don't order it again. 5/10 As for orange juice with ice, it becomes water 🫢 And the cortado is not natural, delicious, delicious..

Not very friendly, bad service. They have open doors and plenty of seats but when you walk in they jump on you basically tell you can’t come in and try to get rid of you. If you need to book, or is exclusive, please put up some signs so you know. Not have doors open.

The service to be seated was very slow, and the queue was having a less priority for 2 person even for availability to divide the table to have more people. Also, food was cold but the coffee was good.

I had the poached eggs with bread, and it was perfection on a plate. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the bread was fresh and delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the quality of ingredients truly stood out. The ambiance was cozy, and the service was friendly and efficient.

The service was disappointing, and the staff were rude. Although tables were available, we waited about 88 minutes or more in line. The food took a long time to arrive, was served cold, and the coffee came much earlier than the food. Overall, the restaurant is overrated.
