A more than unpleasant experience. The queuing system is very difficult to understand (you have to scan a QR code, queue outside). Then, there were 4 tables available but the servers did not seat us there. In addition, I received my (hot) dish 15 minutes before my partner received her lukewarm dish… Finally, there is a tax (not applied in our other brunch places) of 12.5% ​​for the service, which was very bad. I therefore absolutely do not recommend this place which is overrated and not worth the wait.

the food was very good. however please consider placing time limits on how long customers can stay because i booked a table at 9am and was seated at 11.30pm.

Don’t bother to go after 5pm, kitchen will be closed, even though it says they close at 7pm.

A wonderful recipe for a simit dish with eggs and delicious chocolate pancakes, but the food was very late, this is the only bad thing. Otherwise, everything was delicious for once, and the food and atmosphere were delicious and the staff treated them nicely 🥰

The food at Ergon Deli was excellent! We had the croque madame, poached egg on semet, and hazelnut pancakes, all of which were delicious. However, the tables are quite small and compact, making the dining space feel a bit cramped. Overall, a great spot for food, but the seating arrangement could be more comfortable.

I love the breakfast it's one of the best breakfast in London.

I came to breakfast as soon as it opened and asked for orange juice. The cup arrived and I shouted when I told the waitress that this was regular oranges!! It was never an orange, it was dry and obviously old The brown employee was courteous and polite

My visit was in the summer of 2024. The food and coffee were very delicious 😋👍👍 The place is small and had limited tables but it was not crowded. God willing, the next time I return to London, it will be my first choice.

It's a nice restaurant and the food is nice, but it's not worth the wait for almost two hours. You come and register with the barcode, and if you wait outside while standing for that long, you come in and the restaurant will be half empty. I don't know what their situation is.

This is the typical style over substance place. Service was friendly, but food very mediocre, side salad with rotten bits and cold tasteless tomatoes.

So delicious and the pancakes are really such a big portion. And there's no shortage of toppings here either. More like peanut butter with pancakes and not the other way around 😂😍

We passed by the restaurant and decided to go for a coffee break. We each order a coffee and a pancake with granola and greek yogurt cream or butter. The coffee was great and the pancake was very good, just the portion was on a-little big side for me. The only cons is that the coffee came very quickly but the pancake took more than half an hour to arrive and I hope it could be a bit warmer. Overall it was a good experience!

I have given 2 stars overall, 5 stars for food, 2 stars for service, and 4 stars for atmosphere. Ergon Deli is famous for their delicious food, however I will be fair and honest, if your restaurant has michelin star, with this rude attitude and zero hospitality, you will lose your customers. Bottom line, you need to fix this issue, or you will lose your good customers.

The brunch is a little pricey, would recommend joining virtual queue on dojo an hour before arrival as their queue is quite long on weekends

Way overrated! The queue you have to go through doesn’t worth it. They have an online queue where the time actually increases not the opposite! There are way better places in London.

Excellent food, but huge queue. We waited for 2 hours. 2 hours! I would go again, but never on a busy day/time of day. I would suggest you go on a weekday around 2-3 pm.

The food is acceptable, frankly. The coffee is good. I didn’t like the croissant. The speed of service was excellent. The problem is that they have to wait. There are two openings in the restaurant. They try as much as possible to cram people into one place. The wait is actually long, 20-25 minutes. I arrived there at 9:30 in the morning and it was crowded.

The location is in the Mayfair area, the restaurant is small and the tables are very limited. I visited the place based on a recommendation, an excellent experience, and the order in the picture is very delicious and filling.. The juice is normal and the tea is unfortunately bad. The service was excellent, but it took about 25-30 minutes to deliver the order. It is expensive for breakfast..

My experience was beyond what was praised... I had a pancake and a shakshuka, and unfortunately they were all less than normal. Shakshouka is full of fat, pancakes need more cooking and have something special in them. But booking a table was easy, and I booked online via a restaurant table reservation application before I came. It was written about an hour and I would enter, and in fact, I arrived at the restaurant after 50 minutes and entered.

Best breakfast ever 👍 I highly recommend to try the chicken pesto so good.

A big thank you to the gentleman who helped us enter the restaurant. Despite being fully booked, he took care of us and allowed us in (he had an eye injury )he was so kind and helpful. Overall, the food was delicious, especially the Shakshouka Aprili, which was definitely worth it. They did serve us a sesame bagel instead of the avocado one, but we didn’t mind since we were in a hurry to catch our flight.

Found this in social media and it’s pretty famous. Lucky us we went as early as it opened, no need to queue. The place is beautiful-but the table arrangements are too close to each other. They should probably remove the big rectangular cushion on the seat which taken a lot of seating space. The food presentations are good as its taste. Somewhat ordinary but still good tho. The staffs are attentive and polite. Waiting time for the food was quite average. I had great experience having greek cuisines here.

Update Sept 2024: Adding a star due to an excellent sandwich take-away. Nice interior and concept. Food surprisingly bland though, distinctly lacking any seasoning (tasteless chicken avo salad bowl; eggs on koulouri had little or no flavour, strangely). Coffee prep (Cappuccino) lacked the barista skills and presentation required at this competitive level of operation (and not a fan of the unergonomic cup: design for the sake of being different). Service was ok. Not sure about the QR app booking/queueing method: people outside blocking the pavement to pedestrians, and causes other issues when people don't turn up for their table: staff ejected an elderly solo gent from a supposedly booked table of four to no avail: the party of four did not materialize. With steady continuous improvement this place has potential to excel, but it's not a verb I'd use presently. It wins commercially (I guess) as it is: on strength of location and sheer footfall. On the whole, looks good, but below par.

The worst restaurant in London. First of all, I am not tall and the service is very bad. They put a unit in but it works and the food arrived cold the day it arrived and there was hair in the pancakes. The dirtiest restaurant I have ever seen.

I am a regular customer to ergon deli… Actually it is one of my favorite spots in London.. but today I had a really bad experience with the person arranging for the tables.. we were a party of three and she offered us the shared table which we didnt prefer and she kept getting people who came after us to the tables just because we rejected what she offered!!! Although there was a party of three who came after us! When we questioned that, she started saying you have to be respectful and polite.. it was a simple question to her.. When our table became ready she told us to set while she is at the door didnt even show us the table!!! Which was so rude!! This is not the way I am used to when visiting the restaurant.. I used to be receive warm greetings with smiling face.. but this time.. you failed me!

Came here with my sister and a friend, me and my sister r Asian, and my friend is White. When we first came in, no one show us what we need to do, we stood there and a waitress stare at me (as I am in the front) weirdly, so we went back out and scan the qr code but it shows that we dont need that. Then my friend walked in first again and the same waitress smile and ask her how many of us. We got sat in a table that is supposed to be only for 1-2 customers as its a small square table (ik that cuz those other square table only got 1-2 customers, and there r round table for more customers, but instead we got sat at the square table, more customers came in after and they were only 2-3 but got seated at the round tables). We squished in the table that is beside that door, the whole time i just got annoyed that people keep coming in and out of that door. We sat and started ordering, again the same waitress only looked at my friend and ask her what she needs with a smile, then when she asks me and my sister her smile just instantly disappeared. (I just don’t understand what is wrong.) We ordered 3 drinks and 3 food, we waited at least 20 minutes until our food came, even the woman who orders just before us has already finished her meal and left. When we were eating, 4 waiters and waitresses are just on their phone right in front of all customers, i dont have any comment on that. Overall, food is really good, bit pricy but worth the price as it got a big portion. I’m really not happy with the service. Vibe is quite good tho.

Overpriced, uninspired food that's not worth the hype, and the coffee was lukewarm. Plus the bill had 12.5% gratuity pre-added (!!), watch out for extra charges that are not listed on the menu or declared elsewhere.

I don't know what the crowding and noise is about. It's very normal and an hour and a half to wait for the order. In short, it's not worth it.

Possibly the worst service in London I have experienced. The staff are rude and disrespectful. I had to ask for a piece of toast 3 times and after the third time the waiter instead of apologising for the delay went on to completely ignoring us. The food is decent, other than that I can not say any other positive thing about this place.

Overall nice atmosphere although the service was very slow (waited 40min for the food to arrive). Food was good and very filling, my only comment is that the shakshuka peinirli lacked the taste of shakshuka, there was only some minimal tomato sauce on it and mostly cheese. The greek yoghurt pancake was very large and on the sweeter side, and is probably best shared between 2-3 people.

It really depends when you're going. I went alone on a bank holiday and it was very crowded and had a queue. Since I was alone I found a seat pretty easily within less than 10 minutes. The seat I was given was at a bar but the bar was way too low for the chair they used, so kind of hard to eat there. The service was slow but it was understandable because the place was packed. Very polite staff and very cheerful. The food was also nice but it was freaking expensive. I get that central London has a tax associated with it but the price I paid for a Bougatsa, Baklava and Freddo espresso was extremely high. £6.5 for a Bougatsa+ service charge, come on. 😄 It's good for going once in a while if you're craving something from Greece but not much else. -1 star for the service charge. No, it's not ok, pay your staff from the inflated prices.

Food has been decent for my lunch. Interior, location and ambiance is really nice in there. HOWEVER, the service and the staff in there are below average. Rude, uninterested and rolls their eyes whenever you ask a basic questions. Is management not seeing the reviews? Hello? Everyone is complaining about the same thing - do something about it and stop ruining the experience. Lost 2 stars for that.

The booking system at this place is a joke. We were told there was an 80 minute wait for a table, but it's completely empty inside. They make you scan a QR code to wait for a table. Each no show gets a 10min grace period. This results in queues of people standing outside waiting and all empty tables inside. Just use an online booking system like every other restaurant in London.

I loved the peinirli with shakshuka sauce, feta cheese, and cheddar the most. The pancake with Greek yogurt cream is also a must-try!

We (Party of three) visited this restaurant for breakfast on Sunday. The waiting time was about half an hour on the pavement. The quality of food was excellent but the way our main dishes were served was unacceptable as they were not served and brought to our table at the same time and there were good time gaps between each. The atmosphere was good and this place is recommended despite the disappointment of the serving.

I am a big foodie person and it is never a money or even wait time question as long as it worth it 🤤 Breaks my heart to leave 3 star review as food was incredible, we were only able to get take away and toasty but everything looked incredible and tasty. When we came in there was no one at the counter or people waiting, the girl who was making coffee gave us a lazy look and did not acknowledged us till like 10 min later, even when we asked question she was not keen on any assistance (“only take away” and looked away). It will give you a vibe. I use to work in hospitality but this was extremely unwelcoming attitude. Unfortunately we were not the only one who were treated by her that way or not-acknowledged in any way. We could see other male workers were carrying food around and being busy, still being polite but you must go through very unpleasant experience to get that far I guess. Coffee for me and my friend was made with 5 min apart (even it was one order), and despite yummy food I don’t think we will go back as have short stay in the city and prefer at least minimal level of service and welcome. (Recommend - to tesearch booking prior to your arrival, to enjoy)
