Pleasant and friendly place. Good service. We were there also with a Greek relative who confirmed our impression : food is excellent !! It's Greek cousine rivisited without taking away the tradition flavours and looks. All this accompanied by superb cocktails !

We had a nice dinner until we found a piece of cleaning cloth in our plate. They were very apologetic and refunded the cost but it left an unpleasant taste, pun intended!

I can't say enough good things about the food and service at Opso. The flavors were exquisite, and each dish was beautifully presented. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect.

The food was absolutely delicious and service and atmosphere was wonderful too highly highly recommend. It is also all halal too which was perfect. The tzatziki was like no other and the lamb shank dish was so tasty, perfect size to share. I highly recommend this place and will be back!!

This place doesn’t need any more reviews but I’ll still give my take. Lovely for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. The Lamb Roast for brunch gets a special shout, and of-course their dips are great. I’ve even ordered this place on Deliveroo before and it’s great, although, price to quantity ratio on delivery menu is a bit too much. Overall a lovely restaurant with great service. Downstairs is a bit too grim for me so try to get a seat upstairs or outside in summer.

We didn’t book but managed to get a table at the bar and so glad we did! Lovely service, amazing Greek food with a twist and their lamb dish is amazing! Plenty big enough for 2 people as well. High recommend!

Bread wasnt cooked, fake yogurt, lambchops tasted like hot foam, and you need to be under 1.8 meters to fit in their bathroom. Not Greek, just people trying recipes from a website.

Last night I had stomach pain, vomiting and diarrhea, as I ate nothing but my breakfast, toast and a glass of coffee + a banana at 8:30am in the morning , and then just their dinner, I was very scared. I have to go to the hospital and my blood test confirmed Cross contamination ( food poison) .

We went for a very late lunch, 10 minutes before the kitchen closed. Staff were great and quickly brought us menus, helping us choose some items. We got 2 dips, feta in honey, a moussaka, the roasted cauliflower and chicken and lamb sharing plates. The dips were lovely and served with some pita bread. The feta was super. The moussaka was pretty good but the smokey flavour was verging on the side of burnt and was the least favourite of the bunch. The roasted cauliflower was very interesting with a nice crust on the top. The chicken and lamb sharing dishes were divine. Absolutely the best slow cooked lamb I have ever tasted, served on a bed of creamy pearl couscous and truffle mushrooms. The chicken was also delicious, served on a bed of orzo. We were too stuffed to have dessert but they looked good too. The staff are really attentive and kind. The only reason why I won't give this place a 5 star rating is because of the wine list. It was really quite expensive with the cheapest bottle at about 55/60 pounds. Meal for 5 people with 1 bottle of wine and no dessert came to £61 a head inc service charge. Would definitely return for the food and service but would love to see a more varied range of wines.

Excellent restaurant, with modern Greek creations, full menu, helpful staff, good wine cellar. It is one of London's positive surprises, competing with and winning over famous restaurants. Always full, it's hard to get a table if you don't have a reservation. I highly recommend it

Really good menu for sharing starters and drinks! The main courses are delicious and bring about a good taste of authentic Greek food! The lamb shank dish as a main is an easy share for 2-3 people. Was only disappointed we didn’t get a proper table to sit down and dine but overall it was an amazing experience, will go again!

Good place and staff but high price Nice pancake

The food, service and ambience are fantastic. It is one of the best places for dinner in London in my opinion. The dishes are all Greek flavours with a modern twist. Everything is very tasty and fresh. The raw fish selection is exceptional. Very attentive service and great atmosphere, especially on the ground floor, even though the basement is also lovely. It is however unacceptable that there are no bottles of wines under £60 (and there is only one option for £60...). I have never been to any restaurant - including Michelin star ones - where you could not find a bottle of wine between £45 and £55.

Went here for a date and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredible, helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes and helped with our dietary requirements. The food was brilliant, well flavoured and elevated dishes. All balanced and fresh. We're already planning on returning and going to their sister restaurants.

We walked in without a reservation at noon, and still got a spot at the communal table. The food was great, and the service is amazing. I highly recommend eating here!

Came here to eat black truffle lamb leg rice, but unfortunately, the restaurant no longer serves black truffle, and the taste is quite average.

Led by the exceptional Manager Alexis, the team at OPSO went above and beyond to make our celebration memorable. The food: The Spanakopita was a delightful start, setting the stage for a culinary journey that showcased the chef's expertise. From the Taramas and Flatbread to the refreshing Dakos Salad, each dish was a symphony of flavors and textures. The 'Kayanas' and Open Lamb Pitta stole the show as main courses, leaving us thoroughly impressed. The attentive service, especially from Manager Alexis, added a personal touch to our celebration. I must also mention the outstanding service from our waiter, Dmitri, whose attentiveness and knowledge enhanced our dining experience. In summary, OPSO delivered an outstanding dining experience, from appetizers to desserts. I wholeheartedly recommend OPSO for anyone seeking a top-notch culinary adventure in central London.

Atmosphere was great but food was a bit overpriced. We got the seabass, potato puree, broccoli, mocktails, and an appetizer. Was about £85 per person. Food was served cooler than room temperature and the meal gave me a stomach ache. Do not recommend.

A place I’d come back to! The service was great - food arrived fairly quick, glasses consistently topped up and constant check ins. In terms of the food, we ordered the salmon royale (was really good), truffle eggs & sour dough bread (was okay, was a nice portion of eggs but probably wouldn’t order again, sourdough bread was extremely hard), lotus pancakes (AMAZING, would come back just for that), coffees (nice standard coffees).

Each dish has a very interesting taste. The flavour is bravo 👏.

our experience at the restaurant was mixed. our initial encounter with the person who welcomed us to our table left much to be desired due to their rudeness. On the positive side, the food was good, and the ambiance had a pleasant vibe. The waitress, in particular, were consistently cheerful and exceptionally helpful. It’s worth noting that the overall cost was on the higher side, 300£ for 3 persons.

The best greek restaurant I have been to in London. Very delicious food, nice athmosphere and good staff. One small suggestion, deserts were not tasty enough. It would be pitty to have such a poor ending after a fantastic dinner or lunch.

I went with guests to Madam Tussauds and planned a lunch after. I was surprised that they don’t serve food from 3-6 pm which was not mentioned in google maps. Unpleasant surprise. They should be professional enough to post that not to miss-led people.

First things first: OPSO is heavily, heavily overpriced. I have rarely spent that much money in a restaurant without a Michelin star. Mains are between 35 and 70£, cocktails are 16£+. And don’t forget the 15% service charge. The food quality is very good, but plates are very small. Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was cool. However, I probably wouldn’t go again just because of how expensive it is.

The last time I went to Opso was a few years ago, where I had a decent meal, the food was good but it wasn’t anything I would have raved about. I returned this evening, and I can’t stress how much it has improved! I was served by Nikos who was an excellent bartender and waiter. He served us some well executed cocktails whilst also explaining the menu in great detail. The food itself was excellent, I had the Feta Ketaifi which is a must, as well as the Tzatziki and Tuna. I wasn’t blown away by the Tuna but it was good, and the Tzatziki was lovely and different to what you would normally expect. For the main course I had the truffled lamb shank which is a perfect winter dish - rich and flavoursome, it will put you in a mood to write a review after you’ve eaten it. Overall I would highly recommend trying out Opso, I can’t wait to go back myself.

OPSO offers a delectable selection of Greek-inspired cuisine. As a newcomer to Greek food, the small serving allowed for a delightful tasting experience. The intimate setting adds to the charm of the place, complemented by a friendly and unpretentious staff.

My friend and I ordered 4 dishes + 2 breads and wine and we were stuffed with delicious food : ) would want to go back to try other dishes! The only reason one star is off from service is because we got "reminded" to leave several times for the next customers from 8pm when there are still 30 minutes, the reason we were still eating was due to a late second round of bread, not sure if they forgot or it really take 15+ mins. Quite a cozy vibe at the restaurant, makes for a cool night out

We had our wedding reception here and it was perfect! The downstairs “Larder” is a cosy, moody room with atmospheric lighting. We had 47 people on the day, it was definitely a cosy squeeze but everyone fit and it never felt like it was too cramped. The food it absolutely mind blowing and every single guest told us how amazing it was. We went with the bottomless drinks package and I would definitely recommend, you never had to ask for more drinks, they just kept topping up wine and making sure everyone was having a good time! We could not have asked for a better meal, every single member of staff was super nice and helpful.

The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and the menu itself has a wide range of options to choose from. I ordered the Dakos, flatbread and tzatziki which were all very good and made with high quality ingredients but the portions were really small and with the dakos costing £18 it definitely wasn’t £18 worth of food as there were a few tomatoes, a bit of bread and capers and a chunk of feta which was high quality but not worth the price. For the main I had a chicken dish with orzo and got the potatoes, broccoli and rice as a side. The chicken dish cost £38 and I’m not really sure that it was worth the money as it was okay but not spectacular. The reviews all say the desserts are good, the one I had was good but nothing very spectacular. The tables were really close together and there was really loud music playing which meant that the waitress could not hear what we were saying and the person I was with and I had to shout to one another to be able to hear one another. If the music was quieter and the food was a bit cheaper I would go again, but it’s not justifiable with the prices as they are.

The weekend brunch is super super good. Absolutely love the truffle lamb rice. I was scraping every last bit of food in the plate. Didn’t expect to have such a wonderful experience. Worth every penny. Would love to come next time.

The food is brilliant and has rich flavour. Perfect from start to end. We loved it so much and will definitely come back again. Staff here are amazing!

Ridiculously overpriced even for Marylebone. We paid 60£ a person. Food is not Greek but something of fusion. Good ingredients and well prepared but just not justified pricing. Same for the wines. 15£ for a basic glass of red wine is criminal. Restaurant tries to be somewhat of a Sexy Fish and Chiltern Firehouse and appeal to affluent 30-something. However it’s very small and cramped resulting in serious noise. Also due to cramping the neighbours food, truffles, and perfume just destroys and motion of the flavour of your own food.

Chose this popular brunch spot for long due meet up with a friend due to the raving reviews on the social media. The place is actually smaller than I imagine with both indoor and outdoor seatings, and more seats in the basement which look even tighter. We ordered the lotus pancake and Green ‘Kayanas’ (A piece of sourdough is served with an additional coat of £2.50) as well as the Ibrik coffee. The service is excellent and I particularly enjoyed the lotus pancake but I would say the food is quite overpriced which I guess is typical in London. I would still like to give other dishes on the menu a go though. EDIT - went back to OPSO for the second time as another friend would love to give this a go. Ordered the very berry pancake which is nice but pretty standard. The highlight is definitely the open lamb pita which has the perfect balance of spices, the meat is soft and the pita bread is already cut up into easy to eat slices. The hot chocolate is another good addition to the meal too which is extremely rich with a hint of orange peel.

Overall, quite fancy, with good food, and wonderful service, but a bit too noisy of an atmosphere. Don't bring kids while visiting, as the food will not be accustomed to their tastes. After all, do kids eat steak and lamb with shaved mushrooms ontop?

Meh. Overpriced Greek restaurant with lovely atmosphere and unconvincing food. The £38 giouvetsi "for 2" was really the worst I've ever had (too salty, with a weird glutammate-like aftertaste) and quantity-wise was less of what I would expect a single portion to be (at least in Greece). We had some dumplings as a starter that weren't convincing either. Good tsatsiki and bread, at least.

Food terribly below average, service rude. Avoid.

It tries to deliver gourmet level food. Dishes are interesting,but I feel it is a bit overpriced for what you get. Traditional dishes are tiny and pretty expensive. Considering that are slightly revisited versions of classic dishes, such as vine leaves, Greek salad and mousakas. A mousaka is £24 and definitely does't fill you up. Slow cook lamb is a very good, but we are talking about a £53 dish for 2 people, which not necessarily is large enough for 2. I am used to Greek food served in large portions, especially when you order classic dishes. I didn't see much innovation to justify the gourmet prices. However, as I said, food is pretty good. If you don't care about considerations regarding the value for money, it is a good place to try.

Food is decent and service is good on the whole but we were infuriated by a small, but unnecessary and illogical upselling tactic: We ordered a large bottle of water for our table of 4 and the greek waitress didn’t split this for all 4 people (which is commonplace in the restaurant industry). Instead she poured the whole bottle for almost 3 of the guests and without asking, opened a 2nd bottle and charged us. 750ml should certainly be able to go round 4 people, and there’s no need to fill large table glasses to the top as an upselling tactic. Very cheeky, or no common sense, or both. Disappointing. A phenomenally polite and respectful Asian waiter also served us though and I’d give him 5 stars for sure.

Used to be one of my favourite brunch places in London. My recent visit has renewed my impression. If you book a table for 3, you will be offered a very tiny table that’s usually for two people, with a side chair added. The brunch dishes still taste good and look amazing, but the portion has gone down since my last visit. Overall, good food and excellent service, but slightly overpriced and tiny space.

Stumbled upon restaurant while tracking down 17 Wimpole Mews (Profumo scandal of 1963). Seated without reservations. Waitress was attentive, but long delay between ordering and arrival of food. I had the Giouvarlakia Dumplings and friend had Mousakas. Tasty without overpowering spice. Prices appropriate for London. If in area in future visits to London, will visit again.

We booked a table for 17:30 on a Sunday, and at no point were told that our table would be needed by a certain time. I was looking forward to a long and lovely conversation with my friends who I had not seen in 3 years and they had just travelled back from UAE for the weekend. However, we were rudely rushed along and repeatedly told our table is needed once we had consumed (what could only be described as basic and under cooked food). Please note the restaurant was not even half full, they could have offered a different table if they absolutely had to move us along. I was intending on letting the matter go, however, when OPSO felt they had done such a good job they emailed me for a review, I realised how angry I was with their pathetic and rude service. We ordered the Rib Eye Stake which we were told would me medium rare, it was rare. No one asked if our food was satisfactory and we all felt rather sick after a few bites. which is why we ordered mint tea to try and calm our stomachs. I would suggest retraining the staff. I can only assume the staff had not bothered communicating with the chef.

I got my breakfast. Simply, everything was perfect and amazing.

This was my second time at this place and wow!!!! I was there years ago and the food was just amazing. Went recently for my surprise I got even more impressed. Cannot stop thinking about that delicious lamb shank with truffle and their taramas is just divine. Cannot wait to return 😋

Very disappointing experience. Everyone recommended Opso, but if the food quality is good, the prices are absolutely exorbitant relative to the common interior, noisy atmosphere and intrusive service. Definitely better places to spend money on good food, for a far better experience.

Went for an evening meal, and were rather surprised at the cost of most of the dishes. The concept is to share them all, even so, a steak at £95. All the food we ate was good and service attentive. Finally, the service charge was 15%, whilst good service, unjustified. It is for the restaurant to pay their staff not customers, and I imagine the average bill at the restaurant is £200 or more and there is no need to be charging such a high percentage. We felt we should have been at some high end west end restaurant, not a local Greek place. We dine out regularly and I had been here for brunch before, but highly unlikely we would ever return.

Nailed it. Asparagus, ceviche, Greek salad (feta is OOC), tuna tataki (perfectly salted), tarama spread (pita crisps are just right), SKATE (yum in the yum) broccoli & cheesecake. We will be back 😊. Came here for breakfast. If you like eating baby food: watery mushy bland scrambled eggs and sugary thick pancake, then this is the place for you! If you are an adult with a more advance taste bud, then do not have breakfast here.
