Exceptionally good and warm service and opens up a whole new perspective on modern Greek food with familiar ingredients reinterpreted and new ingredients. An exciting dining experience we will recommend to friends. The big red box at the end of the meal is an absolute treat.

Excellent food: beautifully presented. Twists on Greek classics. Soft chicken, soft octopus with okra, all delicious. My only gripe is the price, £284 for 4 people without any alcohol or desserts. But this is high-end dining: the restaurant was fairly empty which given the prices is not that surprising. It’s central London and fashionable Marylebone.

A small yet elegant Greek restaurant with a refined atmosphere and consistently high-quality dishes. The lamb shank is a standout—exceptionally tender and flavorful. The service is professional and well-trained, making this a place I’d gladly return to.

I went as I've been a fee times but not for a while and its always been amazing. Sadly I feel the portions have reduced 50% and prices are up 30%. £17 for a Greek salad is just ludicrous. A whole chicken was £38 was the size of 2 small breasts. It was tasty food but a real shame - I used to always recommend Opso

This restaurant serves tasty, unusual food. It's pricey. We enjoyed the lamb shank (£53 main), Spanakorizo (£21 starter). The staff were very helpful and knowledgable. But be warned about the two tip system. The bill includes a generous tip for the staff (15%ish but the bill didn't say the percentage) plus you're asked to contibute second tip to the server. Is this normal? I haven't come across it before.

Overall, we had an amazing experience dining at Opso. Food, cocktails and service were all beyond expectations.

Last night I fell in love with OPSO. Id rate it 7 stars if I could but google didn't let me. Firstly, as soon as you walk in, the host offered to hang my coat on the rack (I instantly knew I chose the right restaurant). On top of that, the food is incomparable. You can clearly tell that the chefs are perfectionists, with the way you can taste every detail. Secondly the waiters and staff are just too funny. I had a laugh with every waiter I met and they all just made me feel welcome. Everyone working there had a smile on their face, I did not want to leave so of course I had to order a dessert. Visit OPSO and see for yourself, you'll get hungry just looking at the combinations on the menu, I promise you.

I visited Opso on a Monday evening. The hostess was very welcoming, smiling, and kind, which started our evening on a good note. However, once seated, the experience declined due to the waitress. She was quite unpleasant, giving us persistent looks as if rushing us to hurry up. She kept coming back and forth, making us feel pressured. We ordered a bottle of wine, three starters, and a main to share between two. Unfortunately, communication with the waitress was difficult. She made me repeat my order several times and didn’t seem to know what "dry white wine" was. She looked at us poorly and even seemed to mock the person I was with. To our surprise, at the end of the meal, we received a bill of £120, plus an additional 25% in taxes and a 25% service charge, bringing the total to £200. It’s a real shame because the food was excellent. The starters were very tasty, and the main was equally outstanding. The kitchen staff deserve praise for their talent, and the restaurant's ambiance was lovely. However, the waitress’s behavior really soured our experience. I’m still giving a good rating for the food, but the service definitely needs improvement.

Had dinner yesterday, food & staff were amazing. Especially Jafroul ( hope the spelling is correct) who was very attentive and gave great recommendations about what to order .. highly recommended.

One of my favorite places for brunch! They only serve brunch during the weekends. The food is really delicious and flavorful. Recommended dishes: the spinach pie and the Greek yogurt.

Came here for brunch. The way the dishes were set up was cute and not messy. However the chicken tasted a bit dry. Dishes are on the sweeter side, which wasn’t what I was expecting for savory dishes. Portions can be quite hefty depending on what you order.

Lovely cocktail options, amazing authentic Greek food.

This is a large restaurant. They will try to seat you inside (maybe in the basement area which is a bit dark), but if the weather is nice try to secure a table outside. The tables are big too close together but the ambience is far nicer than being inside. Service is very slow. It took a long time for our food to arrive. As for the food itself, it's really a case of style over substance. Some dishes were quite good whilst others just didn't work for us. It's also quite pricey here.

I really enjoyed my dinner at OPSO. The service was amazing. One of my friends was GF and he received such good, attentive service, with the staff going through each item on the menu and explaining how it can be made GF. The food (though a bit pricey) was delicious. We especially enjoyed the Lamb Shank, Calamari skewer and Flatbread.

Utterly disappointing. Ordered the half kg lamb chops - when I asked the waiter how many pieces that would be, he kept repeating in a dismissive and stern tone that’s it’s 500gm as if I can’t already read it in the menu. Please give your staff some training on how to talk to customers. The lamb chops itself were the worst I’ve had in my life, there was just a single chop on the bone and the rest were just pieces of meat, all overcooked and absolutely no flavour whatsoever.

This is not my first time dining in OPSO, delicious food presented nicely and quick services, thank you Abdul . We really enjoyed our breakfast recommend to visit though it is pricy .

By far the worst and most pretentious restaurant I have ever eaten at. When it was flagged that two of the dishes were burnt (pitch black charcoal on not only the meat, but also the veg), the waiter informed “this is how it is supposed to be, it is the traditional way of cooking”. (It’s not traditional to cause cancer, lol.) Ludicrous prices for food that is subpar for human consumption. The waiter also failed to repeat the order, and didn’t have the common sense to realise he had only noted 4/5 mains in the order for a table of 5… Charged £3 per head for “filtered water” when tap was requested specifically. To top this all off, I noticed all people of colour were sat downstairs in the basement (we are in the year 2024, and London of all places mind you). It was a weekday lunchtime, and not particularly busy, so I doubt all the tables upstairs were booked… There was hardly had any lighting, which added to the cold atmosphere. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

We really enjoyed our meal at OPSO earlier this week and it wasn’t our first time. As always the service was brilliant and the food was delicious. The prices are a bit expensive for the size of the portions though.

The place is nice, the service is good and the food too. What doesn’t really work is the pricing. The recharge on the wines are really high with a limited wine list and some of the dishes (the octopus or the calamari skewers to name two of them) are ridiculously overpriced. Some others - like the lamb shank - are worth every single pence. Overall good experience but pricing is off.

We were not informed that the “pure water” served would cost £3 each. We assumed it was just tap water as it was poured from a simple glass bottle. We only realized we were charged for this long after we had left. Also, the 15% service charge is unusually high, on top of an already expensive menu. It is very convenient to add truffle to scrambled eggs so that u can overcharge for it.

Excellent food and ambience and I would recommend it as one best restaurant for breakfast.

Seirios was our food guide and what a star he is, a real credit to the restaurant. We absolutely loved all the dishes we tried but the real delight was the baked feta and honey! Wow! So much flavour and unique take on Greek food. Would love to come back one day in the future :)

Good food, but for the prices you expect better service. More personal. When I had payed I was pritty much invisible. No thank your for your visit, no have a good day, nothing. When u pay £50 for a lunch u expect it to be great service but no.

Food was gorgeous and so much of it! Ended up taking a doggy bag that the rest of the family loved. Service and food was great, we had a really lovely time. Wine is a little pricey

I have loved Opso for years. From the cold coffee and brunch to the starters, mains and desserts, everything is delicious AND HALAL! I introduced my husband to it when we met and he was so impressed. With the help of the staff, he organised a surprise birthday party/engagement party there! It was wonderful and we still always go on special occasions. ♥️

A stunning meal from beginning to end. We're a pretty critical group when it comes to food and it's extremely rarely that we can say that we have enjoyed every dish that we've been served - happily Opso was the exception to our average dining experience and delivered beautiful and delicious plates full of variety and flavour. Service was excellent too.

I wouldnt go back the food was average, over priced and just ok. We thought it such an average dining experience - a tiny souvlaki that is presented as a single bite on a tiny piece of flat bread for £7.50 says it all and the dumplings were over cooked and dry.

A great place to sample dishes.

Staff were great. Food wasn't as flavorful as I was hoping but I had dips, bead and the octopus which wasn't much as a portion and lacked but I still ate it. Dip sizes were huge but main portions were a bit small if you were hungry. My son pretty much had fish and chips which he said were nice and he wanted more of the flavored chips. They even found him some ketchup. Nothing especially good but nothing especially bad so kind of neutral on that one. Decor was nice and can imagine it's lovely if you are meeting friends for a touch of food and a long catch up over wine. No room for any buggies or baby chairs so not the best for child friendliness. It was ok.

Almost our local Greek around the corner from the office. Fantastic food. The cauliflower is amazing. The size of the portions is quite varied so watch out. The lamb is huge and of course delicious but the flavour is not nearly as complex as the one of the cauliflower dish. The only reason I don't give a full five is that the prices are quite drastic, especially in the evening. Ideally stay upstairs. Much nicer than downstairs. Maybe a bit louder but windows are simply priceless.

Rarely write reviews, but the food was genuinely lacking- I felt extremely nauseous leaving. Very disappointed.

This is an easy 5 stars restaurant. Everytime I visit London, I make sure to visit it at least once.

My husband and I had the loveliest meal at Opso this evening. We sat at the bar and had the great fortune of meeting Antonis, who made the best cocktails and shared his knowledge of both London and Greece. We stayed with a range of appetizers and smalls dishes and could not have been happier with the fava, greek salad, tzatziki, souvlaki, and lamb dumplings. It was a delightful meal and I could not recommend it enough.

Best Brunch in London. Don't give out that title lightly. Perfect eggs paired with the freshest bread. The Berry pancake is basically summer on a plate.

Great food. The octopus is amazing. Mussaka is just ok.

Prices are beyond ridiculous. £392 for dinner for 3 people. We spent 115 GBP per person excluding alcohol. Due to this I would not go back. A lamb shank costs £53 to share. A tuna tataki type dish costs £27 to share. 2 octopus tentacles to share costs £65. The prices are shocking really and you may as well go to a Michelin starred restaurant because you’ll get better quality and service.

So-so, I can only say that London is indeed a food desert.

£19 for strapatsada i.e. 2 eggs that even I can make it better is insane. The most average restaurant in Athens has more tasty brunch than Opso. It’s a same as this place had more tasteful dishes, bigger portions and better prices. Now, it’s a pretentious place

Pleasant and friendly place. Good service. We were there also with a Greek relative who confirmed our impression : food is excellent !! It's Greek cousine rivisited without taking away the tradition flavours and looks. All this accompanied by superb cocktails !

We had a nice dinner until we found a piece of cleaning cloth in our plate. They were very apologetic and refunded the cost but it left an unpleasant taste, pun intended!

I can't say enough good things about the food and service at Opso. The flavors were exquisite, and each dish was beautifully presented. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect.
