I’ve had paella from Portland Paella a number of times at private events and also by Quiddles. Always excellent. Fantastic value. And friendly service.

Portland Paella is 10/10! I have ordered the seafood paella from them twice in two weeks and it has been delicious - so full of flavour and their location on Portland is perfect. Looking forward to going back in a few weeks with friends.

First visit to Portland paella (@ Quiddles, Portland, Dorset) this year & just as fabulous as ever. Friend had the veggie version whilst I opted for chicken & chorizo. Extremely generous portions with plenty of vegetables in the veggie & loaded with lots of chicken & chorizo in mine. Excellent value for money. Lovely location, beautiful weather & plenty of satisfied happy families enjoying the food, music and relaxed atmosphere. Good luck for clement weather throughout your season.

Month visited.. every month in summer I think! We honestly cannot recommend this company enough! Paella nights at the beach are the best night's! It is run by the loveliest family and is the most incredible Paella! Our extremely fussy children even love it & tell us how delicious it is! We are so sad summer is coming to and end but we are already looking forward to Paella nights next year!

Portland Paella are fantastic at what they do. The food is perfect every time, served piping hot and full of flavour. So friendly and always go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. My favourite part of Portland in the summer

Every summer when I’m home I try and book in for a paella night and Thursdays definitely didn’t disappoint. This is the best paella I have ever tasted and the portion sizes are big. So filling and fill of different flavours. They have chicken and chorizo, seafood or vegetarian. I opted for chicken and chorizo this time. I honestly cannot recommend portland paella enough. They are that good that they get booked up weeks in advance! Make sure you book in on Facebook and get yourself down to quiddles for paella, drink and sunset! Thanks guys

Portland Paella is run by a gorgeous family; you can taste the love, dedication and care in every flavourful bite. Adorable to see the youngest members joining in with matching chefs t-shirts and genuinely enjoying their family business. Fresh ingredients purchased locally from sustainable businesses on the day of cooking. Delicious seafood with a view of Chesil sunsets As a local it still feels like a holiday every-time (and we can’t get enough!!), so for visitors to Weymouth and Portland this must be a highlight of their trip. The chicken & chorizo pan is perfect for those who don’t favour seafood, and recently they’ve created a vegan pan too!! This paella is totally delicious, the portions are huge, the atmosphere created by the aromas and friendly staff is outstanding. They also offer private hire for wedding, festivals, etc. I’d be in the queue!!

Portland Paella is by far the best Paella around! It tastes amazing, so fresh and is cooked in front of you. The portions are also very generous!! If you preorder a portion for a Thursday evening in the Summer when they're at Quiddles Portland, you'll also get an amazing view and sunset if you're lucky!

I'm so glad I looked this place up because it's the sort of place I love but I'd have dismissed it because of where it is in a bland looking unit on a business estate. Plenty of parking here, outdoor seating, a mezzanine and takeaways. We ate in - delicious cheese scone (to remember my Mum by), roasted veg pasty, Baboo ice-cream, and the tastiest decaf mocha I've had in a long term - maybe ever. All for around £20. Loved it.

Had heard good things about this little cafe/shop, so thought we would give it a go. Parking was a bit odd, as we parked outside then saw that there was a requirement to pay via a QR code 🙁 the Chef came out and pointed us in the direction of some free parking, but could imagine it might get tricky at busier times or during an evening pop-up dinner. There were four of us for brunch, we sat upstairs. It is obviously a re-purposed industrial unit, but it was welcoming, nice crockery, some wall art. The waitress couldn’t do enough for us. Two of us had the frittata and two had the Dim Sum. Everyone said how tasty theirs was, and plentiful. Good price. We would definitely go back, and would like to try a pop-up dinner.

A wonderful little shop with all types of vintage items and a comfy spot to have tea coffee or hit chocolate. Good cakes too. Thoroughly recommend
