Porky's Experience in North Tyneside

Visited Porky’s for lunch. Great tasting food, brilliant portion size and at a time when customer service is disappearing in the service sector, every member of the team were full of smiles, and friendly professional. Management should be very proud of the service team they’ve created.

Very good service and atmosphere. The food was delicious and the music excellent. Especially Bruce Springsteen was the best :)

Family of 4, 3pm booking and it was just what I wanted. Great choice of drinks and shakes and lovely food too. We had burgers, chicken wings and a brisket and chicken stack and it was all lovely. Great service and a very easy going experience. Spot on.

Food was fine, we had burgers and some sides. Son had a milkshake. The tables were sticky to the touch. Staff were friendly. When the bill came they had charged us £7 for the milkshake when the menu stated this item was £5. We raised this with our server who told us that the menus were old and the milkshakes are £7 now. I suggested that is is not how menus work but we paid anyway. We didn’t actually check through the other items but would suggest the managers provide up to date menus for their customers as this is bad practice. Would be unlikely to return.

10 of us visited yesterday for my son's birthday. 1st time there. Loads to choose. All of our burgers were fabulous. So tasty! Lovely friendly staff. I feel they do Loads of take outs but people need to go into the restaurant instead. Lovely and clean and beautifully done out.

Had starter of chicken wings boneless, bbq sauce loverly chicken cooked loverly aswell. Mains, the ribs are class, especially with an extra pot of sauce, texas toast is garlic bread but well worth the try, over all very yummy and will be coming back.

Great stafff, hot food that comes fast, and the portion sizes you get for the price is second to none - will be coming back!

Place was cold and booths uncomfortable. Staff were very helpful and apologetic about the place being so cold. My order of rare rump steak arrived over cooked and cold! Had to return it. Also not a fan of food being served on a sheet of paper on a piece of wood.

A walk in on a Saturday evening at 18:00. Plenty of empty tables. Only about 6 other people in. Drinks order taken very quickly, prompt delivery. We ordered x2 Chicken Parmos's a Chicken Stack and combo plate. All served with chips. The was served nicely, just warmed through though, the Brisket and Pulled pork cooled very quickly. Not the strongest of barbecue flavour, more of a hint. Quite annoying Christmas background music until the guitarist entertainer started up. It's an OK place. So far REDS in Leeds has be the closest to American Barbecue for my taste.

The food was excellent the service was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only reason why I did not give a five was that the table was sticky. If we had asked, I know the staff would have cleaned it again. We are definitely going back again soon. I would have given a 4.5 if I could.

Food was lovely but was too overstaffed. As someone who works in a restaurant, it was shocking that we had to ask multiple times to order food/drink or the bill. Once we had finsihed, they had asked if the food was alright but didn’t take the food when we said we had finsihed. The staff didn’t walk along the left side of the booths but walked on the right often. Many of the staff were just talking, not making sure their customers were kept happy. We had 3 different staff asking if we would like any drinks after ordering our first drink but didn’t return, this shows lack of communication between the staff. It seemed that there was no manager on shift as staff weren’t told what to do while we waited 45 mins for our mains after we had our starter plates were taken away. The worst porkys I have ever been to!!

Ate here last night as a family. Friendly staff, great value for money and lovely decor inside. The cheese sauce on my Philly cheese burger was so good. My other half had the hog board (not sure of exact name). He had to take a to go box home with him it was that big and couldn't finish it all. Still feeling stuffed this morning. Will definitely be back again

Been a few times on the pig out menu, great value, my son loves the kids food too which is also generously portioned. Nice atmosphere and always been well looked after by the staff.

Good was spot on on the food tasted fantastic the lady who I had serving very helpful and cannot complain one bit will deffo return again

Went for the first time on a Sunday evening. Ordered drinks then our order was taken. We waited land waited, ordered another drink. 40 minutes had gone by and a couple who came in after us had been served. We asked how long for our food. The waitress went away and came back to tell us our order had not been given to the kitchen, faulty printer was the excuse. No faulty printer before or after we had given our order. We were told the chef would cook our order if we still wanted it. We decided to decline. The drinks were offered as complimentary, which we accepted and left. The waitress who took our order had left earlier.

Best chicken and beef burger we've ever had and great service from the lovey young waitress.. would definitely recommend 🙂

We decided to try here whilst out for a walk and we were not disappointed. Lots to choose from on the menu and the food we had was lovely. Olivia the lady who served us was so friendly and a pleasure to be served by. Will definitely be back due to the positive experience and the service provided by Olivia she is definitely an asset to the place.
