Firstly the name has changed to The Copper Leaf but the standard of food is still superb. The service was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful even when we got our teapots mixed up which they sorted without any fuss. Three egg scrambled eggs on thick toast were delicious. Several members from *Wirral Amblers* visited after an amble around and back through the churchyard after discovering the history of the lightning strike in 1875. While sitting outside ahead of the amble I observed many people making a beeline for this cafe. It was very clean and the decor was a little quirky which I always like. Couldnt fault any aspect.

We discovered Porcelli’s by accident two years ago and have not stopped visiting regularly since! The food is just superb. Breakfasts are excellent and fresh and the Sarah’s scones are to die for! If that wasn’t enough Sandra’s welcome is so genuine and friendly she creates a lovely atmosphere. We always leave with a feel good factor and looking forward to our next visit

Despite arriving a bit late (10:15) for breakfast there was still a cafe full of customers and after being served we could see why they were all there. Well priced, well cooked and served with a smile, couldn't be better. A number of customers were from some distance away and this is a further recommendation of this "out of the way" cafe.

Visited this cafe for some lunch and food was amazing, tasty and all cooked fresh There were two people serving one called Sandra who is a credit to this place, friendly and kind, the other person however not as friendly. That being said well worth a visit.

As well as friendly staff and the best tasting coffee I’ve had in ages, Porcellis are also the only small cafe I’ve found that offer homemade gluten free cakes. They always have an option available and often several. Today I had a lemon cupcake which was delicious. Moist cake filled with lemon sauce, topped with buttercream and more lemon sauce. Fantastic.

Only went for coffee and cake. What lovely people and great service. You can have sandwiches, all day breakfast (large or small), cakes (various), scones, etc. Lady serving really pleasant and efficient. Recommended if you are in Heswall.

Discovered by accident on a walk around the village. Lovely place with pleasant interior and varied menu. Table outside was our choice. Both opted for pancakes which were homemade and excellent. Coffee and cloudy lemonade both 5 star. Friendly owner makes this a must return when I'm next in the area.

On Tuesday my wife and I were taking our Grandson to the play group in the nearby church hall having just dropped our other Grandson off at school The play group did not start until 10.00am so we popped in to Porcelli’s for a coffee. We were made so welcome and enjoyed a coffee and toasted tea cake with jam. Lovely place to go. I can highly recommend it and if we are in the area again will definitely visit it. Brilliant place👍

We were on motorbikes touring around the Wirral and we came across this delightful cafe in Lower Heswall, we only had a coffee as we had just had lunch in New Brighton. We sat outside and spoke to many of the locals as they passed, the lady who brought us coffee was really pleasant and made us very welcome. We have made a pledge to visit there again next time we visit the Wirral. A liitle Gem that shouldn't be missed, highly recommended. Thank You.

We visited on a cold and miserable day and chose the home made soups. I had the celery and my friend chose the carrot and sweet corn What can I say but a big fat delicious. We each tried each other’s soup and concluded this place knows how to make soup. The atmosphere was convivial and the staff were professional and friendly. We shall most definitely be going again...and soon Quality establishment

We regularly have our breakfast at Porcellu's while our daughter has her theatre class in the Church across the road. Attentive and happy staff and a very relaxed atmosphere. The food is always excellent and it's a great way to start the day. I would thoroughly recommend it to you.

We’ve been going here for a few years when we visit the area but today’s visit was a real disappointment. They had apparently been busy before we arrived and this delayed our service but I still felt it wasn’t up to their usual standard.

This restaurant is consistently fabulous, with great food, great atmosphere, and friendly team always pleased to see you. I often order food to go here at lunch time, and have just had perhaps the nicest soup I have ever eaten. So here's a tip! If you haven't eaten here, do so, you will not be disappointed. If you happen to turn up when the soup of the day is Carrot and Sweetcorn, you will have struck gold!

Went in today for some lunch, but sadly no vegan options so could only have a coffee. They do sell vegetarian sausages and the staff are all lovely, but the menu needs updating to cater for different tastes as it’s a place that I would like to go back to, especially as they are dog friendly!

Once we discovered Porcelli's were hosting theme nights on a Friday, we were curious. We got together with two friends and booked a table at the Mexican night. What an enchanting, low key, relaxed evening we all had. Quesadillas, nachos, we Tried all of the very generous starter portions. Followed up with chilli and a spinach and ricotta enchilada. Wines, beer, coffee. Too full for the key lime pie - sadly!

My daughter Hannah and I with my baby grandson Mason decided to visit "Porcelli's" for dinner. We had a lovely cuppa in her own branded teacups. I had tuna cheese on toast with Salad, my daughter had tuna baked potato with salad. We ate every last bit. Sarah and her team make everything at the cafe. All the sweets are hand made too. We couldn't resist even though we felt like such Piggies. We were there for over 2 hours and even my grandson enjoyed it too.

I have been a handful of times with different dining partners, mainly for lunch, however recently my husband and I went for breakfast. What a treat. Staff very friendly, food good quality. Have yet to be disappointed at this little gem. I agree with another review wondering why it is so far down on the list but possibly due to its location.

Came here on a whim for coffee and teacakes, very nice indeed and the coffee must be the best to be had in Heswall. Other customers were having breakfasts which I must say looked delicious. We will be back to try the breakfast and maybe have lunch. What I cannot believe is how far down the rating this coffee/tea shop is, especially when you look at the rubbish served by some of those above. COME ON trip advisors put it in the right place near the top NOT the bottom.
