Brilliant- cool bar with Warm welcoming vibe, so many beers to try - you would think it was a beer festival. Caught comedy night and it very good. Love local comedy. Definitely will be back....try it out!

We moved locally a few months ago & I noticed that the Scrappy [as locals call it] did weekly quizzes. We finally went this past week & we were made to feel very welcome, by both staff & clientele . I unfortunately was driving, so couldn't sample their more than ample Beer & Cider menu.....but my husband had one of the guest Ciders & it was lovely. Halfway through the quiz we had a slice of cake as it's also a coffee & cake kinda place.....both were delicious! Even though we didn't win, we were all given a little choccie as a gift which I thought was a nice touch. We will definitely be going back every second Monday for the quiz & a few other times as well . There was an outdoor area which looked very inviting . If you're in the area, pop in & give them a try!

Lovely staff, great for evening drinks or coffee breaks. Not had any food but the cakes looked absolutely phenomenal. Dog friendly and family friends. Absolute gem in Liscard!

Hot Choc and Teacakes were amazing but the atmosphere was a bit dusty but that is totally recommended

A lovely jazzy little gemstone hidden away in Liscard. Cocktail bar and craft beers. I had cheese on toast and OMG...melted in my mouth with every bite. A beautiful beer garden at the rear housing heat lamps around and a funky design all over the area. I will literally be visiting this place again and again! Lovely little quaint please. Dog friendly also. Has comfy seating inside aswell as seating outside, which is undercover. Wide variety of hot and cold drinks including alcoholic drinks. Hot food us limited, which is disappointing, but there are plenty of cakes and bakery selections to choose from. I have visited quite a few times now and it has always been enjoyable.

A nice relaxed cafe however the cleanliness is beyond Disgusting! It is great you can take your dogs, but this being said they definitely need to invest in a steam cleaner for the sofas and chairs. There are also toys for children, DO NOT let your children play with these, o know its difficult when theyvare right there... but they are vile, need to be put in the bin. Good idea to either get rid completely or perhaps get some from one of the many local charity shops. Prices are okay, although milkshakes overpriced for what they are. Staff okay, and a relaxing laid back atmosphere. Lots of ales on draught but not always available. Could be alot better with a few changes.

Had a fantastic experience here. Lovely atmosphere and great staff, enjoyed the food but would have liked a wider selection. The choice of alcoholic drinks was spectacular and had a relaxed vibe that was perfect.

Great selection of drinks and the atmosphere was dead chill. Couches were cozy and the staff have amazing fun attitude. There was a DJ busting out some real rock and pop classics too. 👌 top night out

This bar is the gem of Liscard. The staff are so welcoming, they have such a good range of drinks whether that be hot, cold or alcoholic. With everything being so reasonably priced. Food always comes out fast and hot. Not even to mention the yummy cakes. I rarely go elsewhere in Liscard because no other bars/cafes have the same warm atmosphere. Not even to mention the beautiful decor!

Went for coffee with family on sunday 21st may was very very underwhelmed with the quality of the drinks ( very bland and weak coffee) my brother ordered a black coffee and it was brought out with milk in it a replacement was provided and it was undrinkable due to how weak it was unless quality improves will not go back again

Brilliant pub, good music, pleasant staff and that brilliant vibe you only get rarely. Burgers were the best we'd had and the patrons were all as friendly. Perfect.

This place is just lovely. The staff are attentive, with nothing too much trouble. The decor is perfect and it has the perfect ambience. An independent coffee/bar that we fully recommend. Kids and dogs are also welcome which makes things so much easier.

Absolutely love this place. Probably my favourite bar on the Wirral. Whilst relative newcomers to the bar/restaurant industry, owners Claire and Gary bring their outside business experiences to create many extra touches and improved customer service that most hospitality venues don't deliver on. The interior decor is very cool and quirky. There is an outside courtyard to the rear that is mostly covered, but with heaters it didn't matter that it was a freezing winter's night. I can't recommend this place enough if you're going for a drink or food in Wallasey.

What a hidden gem. We visited here to meet a couple of friends for a bday drink. There is a great selection of beers and cocktails amongst other drinks. Staff were really helpful, happy and friendly. Great bar. Will definitely go again.

Over 20 craft beers and ciders, good coffees, cakes, lots of vegan options. What’s not to like? It also helps that the staff are dead nice and efficient. This dog friendly pub/cafe is the best place in liscard!

Under new excellent management. Who knew it had an open air area at the back? Not me lol. Lovely vibe and you should definitely try their milkshakes- yummy. Go and investigate it!

A bar with a lovely relaxed atmosphere, bohemian and homely. Also a cafe during the day, serving a good selection of cake and coffee. A great range of craft beers on tap as well, so there is probably something for all tastes. Well worth a visit.

i have been going the scrapyard for a year now and i love the place. the decor is fantastic the back yard is brilliant and the choice of craft ales and ciders but its the staff that make it so good matt,tilly,ell and reg are phenomenal. if it wasn't for them four amazing bar staff i probably would drink in spoons =[

Fantastic staff nothing is to much trouble you can also take your own food in there and it lets in dogs they have throws to put on the couches for your pooch to sit with you they do sell coffee milkshakes and fantastic cake

Great selection of craft beers and IPAs, slightly pricey but it's expected as it's an independent bar/cafe, also really nice vibe in here and dogs are allowed in their outdoor seating area at the rear.

Go here alot with my mum when I visit. Vert homely and relaxed place and staff are extremely friendly and nothing ever too much trouble. Coffee is made to your specs and although have not tried any, they seem to have some excellent cakes etc available.

Quirky place, great choice of beers and good coffee. Still awesome, massive choice of beers with good NA selection and a brilliant cocktails menu. But the icing on the cake is the staff, they ace, attentive and just generally lovely people.

Me and few friends came for a few drinks after seeing it on Facebook. Did not disappoint!lovely little bar tucked away in Liscard, Staff nice too, barmaid helpful and young man with long hair made us some nice cocktails and was a proper gent. Will be back again

Horrendous service by the manager who clearly had a chip on his shoulder. We left within 2 mins of walking in wothout buying a drink.

Great place to pop into in Liscard for a coffee, tea, beer or snack. It's a very chilled out spot in the morning and perfect for a nice teacake and cappuccino. It's open from 9am to 11pm most days and the bar opens at 12pm if you want a good quality pint. The place has a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Every age group comes in, it's dog friendly and it feels like the whole local community uses it. During the week it hosts live music, a quiz, board games and crochet meetings. There's indoor and outside seating and toilet facilities.
