Went to a friends birthday party where we had afternoon tea. Everything was brilliant. Even had a take home cake box as there was plenty left over,! Beautiful cakes , sandwiches and savoury pastries and a trifle like sweet. Fresh clotted cream and generous portion Continual fill ups of tea and coffee. Tables set up ready and looked good. Must try brekkie or lunch there! Thank you

I popped in here today for the first time as my little one was ‘starving’ from school and wow I will be returning and recommending it to everyone. You really can’t put a price on a friendly atmosphere and amazing customer service. My little one hasn’t stopped talking about it. What a lovely lady who served us, absolutely amazing rocky road which was extra special and a cute, clean cafe. Thank you so much for making our day!

I pre ordered sandwiches for a meeting and they didn't put what was asked on the fillings (thats if you can call it fillings) made up her own filling ideas so bizarre 🤣🤣 then everything was done on the cheap especially the bread then hardly nothing on sandwiches only in the middle no corners then tried to blame me for getting it wrong 😡 not a nice person that owns this place and the hygiene of the place needs looking at dirty nails and floors 🤮 yes should of visited before I ordered.

This cafe is a gem with excellent beverages and chocolate cakes are too tempting, wow.

Fabulous food, excellent prices, lovely staff. Their cakes and bakes are amazing too and they do outside catering for large numbers. Didn’t see the legendary Alan the seagull this time but we can’t have everything 😂

This is a real gem of a place just off Hamilton Square. Clare the owner is absolutely delightful, nothing is too much trouble. Gorgeous coffee & sandwiches in relaxing surroundings. Highly recommend. We've actually booked her to do our wedding catering!

We hired this company for my granddaughter's 18th last night. They brought the food to the venue and set it all up in an expert way. The food was absolutely fantastic with a great range of different foods hot and cold, and they cleared up after the event. Ten star for it all. Well done guys 💕💕💚

Ordered afternoon tea for four. I asked for less cakes and more savoury, what a variety fabulous couldn't fault it, something for everyone. Best afternoon tea i have ever had, and so cheap. Can't rate Clare highly enough. She is friendly very accommadating will change and swop food to what ever you ask for. Will certainly use again.

Clare at Cafe Aroma is outstanding. We organised a family get together at New Brighton Cricket & Bowling club 4th September and the customer care & service is amazing, nothing was too much trouble & it was like dealing with a trusted friend of many years - absolutely perfect. Mum & I cannot get over the amazing comments about the quality & variety of the food, and we agree it was absolutely delicious too. We wish you every success in your future. And yes we will be back Intouch as the family want to do it all again !!

Visited for the first time today with some work colleagues. The food was excellent, very tasty, generous portions, very good quality and value for money. The service was second to none and we will definitely be going back.

The best cakes/ food and hot drinks in town can’t recommend enough, friendly chatty staff, amazing place to stop by or grab some cakes for yourself, family and friends.

Wow, found the best scoff in Birkenhead!! A cracking all day breakfast. A fantastic range of homemade cakes and endless types of coffees. Even has a local delivery service. Easy to find just off Hamilton Square, just ask Alan for directions!!!

I brought my 2 kids here for breakfast and the service was amazing! Nothing was too much for Clare and the kids loved it! The food was delicious and we will definitely be coming back!

Such a nice place. Went in for coffee. Forgot my pin number. Only had enough cash for one piece of cake and coffee, lady cut it thicker for us to have some each. Just a lovely thing to do. Coffee and cake were great. Feel like we've discovered a gem.

This is my 2nd home Clare is like my mum. And moody John is like my dad lol best Caffe shop in Hamilton Square period .

Handy to where I live and know I could go in there on my own as Clair makes everyone feel so welcome. food and service great also.

Seems to only open when they feel like it, and pay no attention to they're opening times, been 4 times and closed, only found it open once and the worst latte I've ever tasted , like black coffee and water with froth on top, no milk at all, absolutely rancid if you find this place open I wouldn't recommend it

Always found this cafe to be a great place to have a meal and spent a number of years going every week. Only stopped going because we no longer work in the area. Food always great and the staff always cheerful and attentive. Can recommend.

Myself and 3 friends were looking for somewhere to have breakfast before visiting the U Boat story in Birkenhead. This place is a few minutes walk from Hamilton Square station. A very pleasant walk across Hamilton Square itself. The large full English breakfast was £5.25 with a pot of tea for £1.30 great value. This place is a hidden gem.

Great little cafe/bistro. The owner Claire is so friendly ,& genuinely interested in all her customers. Lovely coffees & shakes. Wonderful homemade cakes ,& meals (you MUST try the dirty fries - fries, pulled pork, cheese & their special spice mix. Scrumptious !!

We came across this place by accident and ended up having an amazing lunch. The lady who served us was cheerful and the food was delicious. I didn’t think it was over priced as I thought the food was good quality. Lots of vegetarian choices.

Went here today with business colleagues and really impressed. The staff were lovely (especially with my colleagues toddler who was in tow!!) and the place itself was lovely and perfect place to talk business out the office.The food was superb and well priced (£15 for 3 huge Full English Breakfasts with drinks!) Just hope this place continues to thrive with the alarming number of businesses(and thus their customer base)closing in the area all the time!10/10

Not a huge fan of this place. Positive is that the portion size was large. I found this place quite expensive for simply a sandwich and coffee (£5.80 in total!). And that was one of the cheaper options! I know you pay for sitting in but a bit too pricey. Also I had a chicken and bacon sandwich... They used a cooked roast chicken which was great BUT it was crispy/yellow in places and tasted a bit funny. Bacon was also a bit dry and tasted funny. Had to remove the bacon in the end. Might go again and try another item but not going to rush back there.

Had a sausage sandwhich toastie. Came with a salad? Nice staff nice surrondings. Came.to 6 quid fir a coffee and toastie. Better places to go. Prob return

Outstanding Business Lunch This week we have had a delicious and varied lunch brought on 3 consecutive days, each day different with one of our visitors citing " the best business lunch he has had for a very long time". Clare's idea to vary the menu each day was a winner! The food, savoury and sweet was delicious, obviously home made with crockery, cutlery, keeping warm facilities, napkins, and the empty plates were collected at the end of the day!. Lovely food, great value and Service with a Smile! Will definitely be using Coffee Aroma catering again.

Had a pleasant coffee in here today. The food coming out looked good and the cafe is a bit of a sun trap. We enjoyed.

Fast and friendly service. Huge portion sizes and good quality food. Happy to cater for individual tastes. I recommend the Blue & black burger.

Just had our works Christmas lunch for 9 and what an amazing meal. There was so much to eat, well cooked and presented, and the service was great. Would definitely recommend. I've been lots of times at lunchtime and the service and food has always been great. No complaints whatsoever.

It is a warm and welcoming place, with fantastic coffee, I also enjoy the breakfast choices they have.It is well worth a visit,suitable for children too,or hungover adults.

I go to Coffee Aroma monthly to meetup with some former colleagues. Clare has created a very nice and pleasant atmosphere with a well cooked hot meals and great sandwiches. They also undertake outside catering for special occasions.

We're not fans of the over fancy anyway but Coffee Aroma is good food, well cooked at good prices. The service is always ecellent and we can be sure to be in and out in an hour if necessary.

Often go in there for a snack and a pot of tea. Do some nice meals too. Reasonable prices. Nice comfortable place. Good service too.

Have used Coffee Aroma several times and will not use anyone else! Claire provides an excellent buffet service, great value and great food. We always receive many compliments on her behalf from our guests and customers.

just popped in for a coffe and a bacon butty whilst waiting for a meeting on the square.What a little gem......bacon butty came with salad on the side. I got a BLT as well as brown sauce on the side.The coffee is great and the service excellent. I will come back for lunch! Great find......

Had these doing the meal for a golf dinner last night in Liverpool- supposed to be a carvery with a soup starter - the soup was from a packet, they brought it in cold bowls with a huge bread roll balancing on the edge of the bowl - no butter - soup was cold - when we complained the waitress said it was because it had been put in cold bowls - and took it away - didnt apologise or bring any thing else back. ';carvery' was awful - the boiled potatoes were those little ones out of a tin - the orast potatoes were the same ones just roasted!!! terrible meal, terrible service - will never be using them for my catering.
