Pops in Kirklees

Gone really cheap on the milkshakes. Snickers milkshake is meant to have Snickers. Not cheap nuts to imitate the chocolate. Snickers bar cost what.. 25p? Time to stop being stingy. Lost a customer unfortunately.

We have been ordering from pops for many years and we've always really enjoyed the food and never had issues with delivery. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. The last two times we've ordered we've waited over 1.5hrs for delivery, despite it stating on just eat that delivery takes 50 mins-1hr. This last time I even had items missing that I've paid for. The customer service isn't great either, the staff couldn't really give a toss when you ring them. We won't be ordering again.

Absolutely horrendous, I advise people to stay away from this place. I ordered just 1 burger and it took them 40-50 minutes to make while I was waiting inside getting inpatient. And all I could hear in the back was the staff laughing around not giving a care in the world. There was also quite a few people waiting who were were also getting very frustrated. And finally when the food came it wasn’t even hot, it was lukewarm at best and that’s being nice. The service was terrible the person at the front kept saying 2 minutes to me every single time I would ask how long the order would take. Very frustrating and would definitely not ever come back again.

I ordered through the phone yesterday was told about the dirty alabama and hands down one of the best burgers in west yorkshire and delivery was rapid aswell delivery driver was sound

This place is disgusting don't order from here even had the boss on the phone and threaten me cos I put 1 star and he didn't even want to resolve my issue that I had with my food that came flat cold and over 2 hours late and then I got told by delivery driver to come and collect it from outside my home cos he didn't want to come to my door even though I'd already paid for it through just eat. Stay well away. EDIT TO POP'S REPLY: I have not received a refund from just eat they said it was delivered & hour and half after ordering & there's nothing they can do at this time so don't lie an say I've received a refund! Also I wasn't abusive maybe I was angry at the fact I've basically been robbed but never abusive.

There was a delay in delivery but they gave us some extras to apologise. The food was absolutely amazing! Gorgeous chicken and beef burgers. Definitely coming here again

Chicken wings had a disgusting smell! the chicken was definitely past its use by date. Made me throw the full meal in the bin it put off my appetite straight away.

Always (religiously) missing items from our order, forget to deliver the milkshakes. Week after forget the sauce and drinks 🤷‍♂️

Everything arrived luke warm or cold, chips & hallumi fries were overcooked. Burgers werent too bad but they werent enough to improve the meal.

we got 2 burgers and a kids strip meal. best burger I've had in a VERY long time. absolutely stunning. 10/10! will deffo order again.. however, the kids chicken strips were SPICY, and my 7 year old struggled to eat them. if they weren't they would of got 10/10 too! so maybe just keep that in mind as it was a kids meal. but overall absolutely stunning. 💯 recommend .

Absolutely delicious and satisfying food. Had their smash burger and hands down The Best smash burger,melts in mouth and you want another one to satisfy 🤤. Adam served us and he's a top lad. Definitely coming back and it's worth every penny. Highly recommended place

We ordered on JustEat. Food came when it should have. The cheese burger was lovely, but the rest of the food was trash. Chicken burger was dry, fries were chewy and barely warm. Lemon and herb chicken strips were bitter, didn't even eat a full one. Probably won't be ordering from here again which is shame asthe cheese burger was great.

the food was almost an hour late and when it arrived everything was cold, and when I rang the gentleman was friendly but only said it was already out for delivery and was almost with us, but it was still atleast half an hour before it arrived.

I used to be a frequent customer at this establishment. Unfortunately, the quality of the meat seemed to lack freshness, and the chips appeared dry as if they had been reheated. It's crucial for food to maintain its freshness and taste.

Literally the worst. The chicken wings were soggy, even though they call them crispy wings on the menu, they were absolutely dreadful. The worst soggiest disgrace of wings I've ever seen, and the burger was basically the same. Soggy, tasteless, just a waste of money. Never ever again

I ordered at roughly 5:45 and it never showed up, they told me it had been delivered yet I received no food, I spent £30 for nothing abysmal is being to nice as they agreed to send more food and yet nothing what a shambles.

Absolutely shocking delievery service, ordered a delievery at 7pm and didn't receive it until 9 pm food was stone cold and man on the phone was so rude everytime I rang up to see where my order was, not the only time this has happened, I'm sure if you pick up it wouldn't be bad but I suggest not to order from here as the last 3 times I have it's been late and cold, also didn't receive a refund so it's really not worth losing money over

Very disappointed the worker said only 18s can pick up orders even though I said my family’s cars outside he didn’t believe me and he followed me outside to see that I was saying the truth even though he knows that I have came inside pops with my family before

After abit of a mix up and delay with my last order in which they tried there best to sort out and get my food to me asap they then proceeded to offer me the same meal for free if the food wasnt up to the standard it should Have been and they was true to there word such nice polite people with the best customer service definitely will continue to order from these guys

Very recommended for burgers. Read some other reviews beforehand but thought to give it a go and can I say the past three nights me and my partner have ordered from here and its arrived hot, yummy and the burges are very nice and great with delivery time!

Ordered a burger and some wings the other night. The burger was so so, nothing special. However, the chicken wings are so undercooked they're still laying eggs. I don't know how you can even justify sending that out to customers!! Will not be ordering here again when I'm in the area! Stay well away!!

So I'm a regular here and have been for years... they're burgers have never disappointed but today after the food that that they pushed out, I thought it was worth coming on and writing about. Ordered the hot mess and the breakfast burger with a chicken loaded fries box.... all of which was delicious but Massive shout out to the chefs here- keep it up. I will back again soon. Just ordered from Uber eats and not happy with it, wayyyy too much salt in the food, the wings the burgers the sauces they use to marinade, cut down the salt!! Cardiac arrest pending
