Great choice, great value, always fresh and hot, staff are awesome , always busy , been using Poppins for 2 years now and don't go anywhere else

A proper cafe at that level you really need when you do! Good fun menu with all vast array of options and some others you didn’t expect. Very good service and smiles too :)

Poppins is a great restaurant with great service and nice staff I would 100% recommend all the food they serve

Brilliant place for family dining at affordable price. Options for gluten free are easy, dairy free and soya free a little trickier. Staff very friendly but no documentation on menu for any dietary or allergen information.

I came to Poppins with my nan today and the service was brilliant and so was the food, I highly recommend coming to Poppins it's the best restaurant I've came to. also there milkshakes ate the best

Love poppins the breakfasts and lunches are very good, but the baggets are poor we had them for a change, they were expensive for what was there, not toasted properly, filling very sparse, our family was very disappointed.

We stopped here on the spur of the moment at lunch time. Our food was very good, and nicely presented. Coffees and milkshake nice too. Friendly staff and efficient service with reasonable prices. Cafe also looked spotlessly clean. Would recommend.

Me and my other half often come to this venue for breakfast and we couldn't be more pleased. The food is delicious and they serve a great range of food and drinks. My favouite being the Mega Breakfast. The staff are very friendly and always have a smile. Good value for money and worth popping into if you're in the area.

We use this restaurant fairly frequently for breakfast when visiting east grinstead. A very clean reasonably priced restaurant, Quite a varied menu, portions are not huge but entirely adequate and well presented.. The staff are polite and attentive. We have never had a problem taking our refreshment there. My disabled wife uses her small electric buggy. The restaurant is well laid out with space for her to manouvre without causing inconvenience. There is a large car park nearby so generally parking is not a problem.

It’s was lovely food It’s was lovely food and very friendly staff so I will go there again it’s was good prices. It’s very clean shop as well

Terrible , not a clue how to make coffee , 2 x lattes with unthickened milk and a flat white was served as s couple of inches of watery espresso in the bottom of a latte glass and a jug of hot milk served next to it. Flat white is 2 shots in a cup topped with thickened silky milk with small amount of froth . They need to train their Barista if an can out her phone down long enough to attend a train session . Will not be returning .

Lovely weekend breakfast here with my family. Lots of choice on the menu including a vegetarian option.

We tend to visit here weekly, and our go to place for breakfast, it’s quick, it’s fresh, it’s reasonably priced, staff are friendly what more does one need.

If i need a quick cuppa and something to keep me going whilst in town ( usually a teacake) then i will pop into Poppins. Quick friendly service. Good food and drink.

Clean tidy restaurant. Four off us went for lunch time meal. Table clean. Ordered our food from a stroppy waitress very rude and impolite. Then had another waitress deliver our food to us who was also rude.Food was hot fresh and tasty. Our experience was let down by the service from the waitresses the guy on the till was friendly and welcoming at least. We visitied this restaurant if it helps at 12;15 on Monday April 23rd in the retraining of certain staff!!!

Good was lovely and such good pricing aswell just a shame about the waitress who obviously has an attitude problem, rubbish customer service and couldn't even smile at us. " you ready to order " and " what you want" were what we were greeted with, disappointing really because it ruined the atmosphere and we ended up leaving as soon as we could finish our food. Friendlier staff would have made this a 5 star review

If I'm being honest I was meant to be revising for my upcoming exams but instead me and my mate bunked it for a cheeky lunch at Poppins(sorry mum). Great fry up, the meat is questionable but when you're starving you don't really think about it much. Great value for money and the staff seem kind. If you're skint and have a hangover this is the place for you.

We went here today and found the place really, clean, friendly staff, good service and nice food. Would happily eat there again.

I was amazed at all the different foods I could choose from on the menu, and the prices were very reasonable. I had a jacket potato with cheese and it came with a decent salad garnish. My partner had a salad and it was nice and fresh. The staff were very friendly and there was a nice relaxed atmosphere. Not somewhere that you would go for a special meal, but great for casual dining.

Staff wonderful food good, very convenient if you are in East Grinstead. Not posh but you don't need it to be.

The children love coming here. There is a good wide choice of food available. The staff are very friendly and welcoming - good family atmosphere.

This is our family favourite when in East Grinstead to just poppin and grab a quick breakfast, burger, or sandwich. Always met with a friendly smile and the prices are good value. The omelettes are particularily good, and the kids meals are good portions.

Nice, simple food at reasonable cost. Family friendly, pleasant staff, extensive menu, clean tables. What more could you want from a cafe?

Simple menu - good value and quick service. A good place in the centre of townfor a quick lunch. Child friendly too.

This is hands down my favourite cafe! Whenever I visit my mum I always want to go for lunch here.

I came across this by accident as it is hidden away down an arcade. The food was good and the staff friendly. It was an enjoyable lunchtime meal.

Taken out for a birthday lunch by sister in law and very impressed. Food was plentiful, hot and tasty. Service was quick and efficient. All meals came out together and it was not expensive. Although a long way from where we live - would certainly visit again if in the Crawley area

Stumbled across this cafe whilst wandering around East Grinstead. Spacious inside with room to manoeuvre between tables. Friendly waiters.

My daughter really likes this restaurant and we often visit on a Saturday morning for a brunch.

Popped in for a coffee and snack, but ended up having brunch very nice and very quick. The food was cooked well and to our liking. The restaurant is waitress served so you only have to pick a table and everything else is done for you. Good selection on the menu and very reasonably priced.

Popped in for a snack as missed breckie at home.Enjoyed Fried egg Sandwich,all freshly cooked along with delicious coffee .Attemtive Staff.First visit, eill definitely return when in the area.

Came across this gem today whilst looking for somewhere to eat. Unassuming and quaint. Friendly staff. Good choice of meals and drinks. Good size portions.

Food is simple and reasonably priced. Reminds me of a Little Chef. I paid £6.90 for a the breakfast including a hot drink.

friendly staff, reasonable hot food. Overall what I like about Poppins is the serve and friendly staff, whilst the food is reasonable and edible I would recommend a visit as its no fuss grab, fast food, some healthy options and just friendly.

We have been in other poppins restaurants and this one is no different, friendly staff, nice food,clean resturant and reasonably priced. Would recommend and use again

Clean. Friendly and efficient. Staff were attentive and made us welcome. Coffee and tea arrived promptly and was piping hot.

I have eaten here a couple of times before and it has been average. The food is fair, chilli is middle of the road, salads would be good if not swamped in mayo and coleslaw. Omelettes are like rubber. One waitress is very good, polite and helpful. Another thinks nothing of reaching across you silently to grab your condiments for another table! On this occasion, they were about to close and upon passing I needed the toilet due to health reasons so I popped my head in and asked very politely to a member of staff if this were possible having been a customer before. Certainly he said kindly. Upon leaving I was accosted by someone I perceived to be the Manager/Franchisee and was rudely told that they were closed and how dare I use their toilet to which I explained that I had asked and been told yes I could. I was then told very rudely to leave and not come back. This is fine as It is not good enough anyway to warrant a return but I think it is very short sighted of the Manager to behave like this in a new venture in a small town.
