Popeye's Peri Peri Grill in Cheshire East

Food has gradually been getting worse for a while now but we’ve persevered hoping for it to improve until now. Garlic margarita pizza with yet again no garlic and a whole piri piri chicken with no legs but 4 unbelievably dry breasts. Definitely ordering from elsewhere in future.

Don’t know if this place has changed ownership but this was our weekly go to place in Crewe for good chicken. Last week it came late and cold. Let that slip as it’s always been good. This week food turns up with half the order. I tried to cancel but they said there making it fresh. INSTEAD I GOT MICROWAVED 2HR SOGGY FOOD. I rang back and asked and was even lied to that it was a fresh order. Then admitted it wasn’t. Told I couldn’t have a refund unless I came to the shop. (Obviously in hope I wouldn’t) Unfortunately for them I’m not that stupid and drove to get the refund as it was over £30.00. I personally advise anyone to avoid this place at the present time. They used to serve the best chicken in town. “USED”

Arrived after an hour on a Tuesday night. Rank! Ordered last week and was rank! Gave them a second chance. It’s really hard to find a good general take out in crewe anymore! 😷 I’m sick of forcing inedible food down through hunger

Love this place always enjoy , even if I can't eat it all strip the rest to make a salad. However tonight ordered the medium spice , not what we normally have put most of it in the bin

Love Popeyes, the food is so tasty. After years of coming here I have tried most food on the menu and never been disappointed. Staff are funny and always make me feel welcome. Honestly just try it. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in Crewe

Amazing food, milkshakes are a game changer. Quick service Never disappoints, friendly staff, great prices WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Dont think some of these other reviews are legit, think they have may have the wrong takeaway Been ordering from here for 4 years now and never had an issue, food on average gets delivered in less than 30 mins. Popeyes peri peri is the best chicken in Crewe by far! Nando’s has nothing on them!The negative feedback is just haters from the local areas probably with shops.I suggest you try it for yourself! they also just started the milkshakes! Honestly amazing! Staff are always friendly and welcoming! We order every week and have never had any problems! must try for yourself 10/10.

Never again sent order out with wrong customers then expect u to have it when there brought it back ships cold discusting service

My food was cold and under cooked ,pop eyes is the worse takeaway in Crewe. Wouldn't recommend going there if I'm honest really horrible food ..

Waiting 2.15mins for my takeaway for still be stone cold rang up staff were rude on the phone had from here loads times yet this has to be worse never again!!!!!!

Very tasty Peri Peri chicken and friendly staff. One of teh best Peri Peri chicken I have eaten. Staff is all very friendly and service is reasonably prompt. It is also well located on a main street in Crewe. The take away is also clean and has seating inside which is handy. I will certainly go back. The only reason I have 4 and not 5 is that I am a well travelled person and I have visited a multitude of restaurants over the years. But this one is definitely very nice.

I shouldn't complain about a chicken that was cooked and brought to my house for like 4 pounds. And yet I am. I didn't realise it was possible for a chicken to taste unhappy. I imagine it's death was a welcome relief from its miserable existence. The poor thing.

Un amigo y yo tuvimos una corta parada en el camino a Escocia en tren y encontramos Popeyes una corta distancia a pie de la estación de tren de crewe. Tengo que decir que el pollo era increíble, tan sabroso y muy fresco. Yo estaba muy sorprendido de encontrar un lugar tan bueno como halal en Crewe pollo peri. Teníamos la mitad peri pollo, que era magnífico. Hay unos pocos asientos, así que te puedes sentar y comer aquí. El personal era también amable, lo recomiendo altamente.

Encontramos esta joya de lugar en Crewe como estaba con mi esposa y mi hijo en crewe para el fin de semana.

The wings are amazing, the peri chips are bang on and the rolly polly dessert it the one to try. It is located just 2 minutes walk from the train station. the staff are always polite and they sort out any problems ASAP

A few months ago i would happily of ordered from here. However, today has put me off massively.

Fue pasando a través de Crewe y tenía una hora esperar hasta mi siguiente. Fuimos a dar un paseo para tomar un bocado rápido y encontramos esta pequeña joya. Pedí dos piezas de la pechuga de pollo. Servicio de atención al cliente muy buena y muy servicial. Elección de cómo quieres tu pollo picante y un precio muy razonable. El pollo estaba perfectamente cocinado y no seco. El Abrigo de las especias fue justo y tamaño lo pregunté. Sabroso es insuficiente. Sweet Spice y leve char a la parrilla hecha un poco más especial. Tamaño de la porción era muy buena. No dudaría en usar este para llevar de nuevo. Llevar cinco tenía una clasificación de estrellas, higiene podía ver por qué tan pronto como entramos. Área de descanso estaba impecable, y por el aspecto de la zona de detrás de la barra de tareas estos chicos saben sobre higiene.

Hasta he recogido un pedido desde aquí no tenía ni idea de que sólo sirven carne halal.

The fact people have put bad reviews on completely blows my mind!!! This place is 100 times better than Nando's!!! The best service and the best food!! I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!

First of all, you will always be greeted with very friendly service. They serve really tasty food and have a comprehensive menu. The food preparation area is spotless - you can see what is going on. If I want a takeaway, and I'm in Crewe, this is the place for me.

Ordered meals this evening. Took 20 mins longer than estimated and didn't deliver full order. Now 2 hours later and 2 phone calls later still no sign. Had the money but not delivered full order. Don't use

ordered from here 2 types of their 'specially flavour marinated chicken' with chips, corn, donnar meat and coke. They forgot to bring the large bottle coke when i said to the driver he said he would have it straight out to us if it wasn't him bringing it it would be someone else as he would call his boss to tell him to have it reay. Then i had to call a further 3 times being fobbed of with ' sorry my love we have been busy' my reply was well no more excuses ive already paid i wanted it with my meal and just because you're busy doesnt mean the standards drop!! then when they finally arrived 2 and half hours later all i got was im sorry it should have been in the car!!! fuming was not the word! WILL NOT BE ORDERING AGAIN FOR SURE YOU ARE CRAP!!!

Myself and my partner ordered a take away from here last Friday and it was suprisingly good!! A large meat feast pizza and peri Peri chicken with chips! The chicken was very tasty and moist and the pizza was well cooked with lots of flavour. We will defiantly order from here again. Portion sizes were perfect and a speedy delivery.... very impressed!

I love this takeaway, my favourite in the area. Always very clean inside when I go to pick up, lovely meals and very affordable! Strongly recommend the desi rice/ wrap meal!

to other people i would not recommend this place as the food tastes burnet after ordering three days in a row there furthermore the food was bad quality,the employee with the glasses started being rude to me. nice place,bad food,people and quality

I arrived too late to try the restaraunts but this place was still open, has a large screen showing sport and staff were friendly. Open Plan grill so you could see your meat being cooked and had a high scroes on the doors cleanliness rating. Its still a kebab shop mind, so we are not talking gourmet but the prices were good and the hiome made peri peri sauces were very tasty.Would go back

We are a regular customer who usually order every week - although they tend to get the order wrong on a regular basis the hiccups were only minor and therefore have continued to be a "loyal" customer until today when the advisor had got the order wrong. I phoned them up to let the advisor know, all the advisor did was argue with me in an unfriendly manner that he got the order right! When I told him that we werent going to order again he replied "thats ok" To avoid getting annoyed with their unfriendly and very poor customer service either avoid this place at all costs or make sure they repeat your order to avoid disappointment.

I was upset the doner meat was greasy the burger bun soggy still looking for the salad. The chips were very floppy

This is the best place for fast food in the Crewe and Nantwich area. Always piping hot fast delivery and most of tall the kitchen and service area look so clean no matter when you go in. If you like Nando you will love this

Chicken kebabs very nice everything else is a waist of money small portions and not very tasty apart from the ch8cken kebabs b8t you can get chicken kebabs nicer elsewhere so I wont be returning
