Funny little wooden pavilion, only does cakes, teas and coffees and afternoon tea. set in a small village which is worth a walk around. Cafe only open on Sunday afternoon and only had about 6 tables inside.

The booking was easy to achieve. The location of the Pavilion was very pleasant within the grounds of Winwick Hall All the staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was home made, to the highest standards. This was the best traditional Afternoon Tea I have enjoyed for many years and the locally produced sparkling wine was excellent. Thank you to all the Team.

The location and setting, the staff and especially the lovely food - all was excellent, and made more so by the beautiful weather. Visited with my parents who live locally and this is a delightful gem of a place. So good to see after the challenges of the past year and worth a visit - and walk.

What a lovely place to join my parents in celebrating their wedding anniversary yesterday. Everything about the afternoon was excellent. Nita was so friendly and accommodating - offering to box up the tea in the event of possible rain; and preparing an outstanding gluten-free tea for myself. The food was exceptional, surpassing anywhere else I have been and the whole experience was enhanced by the stunning location and delicious champagne. I will definitely be returning.

This place is fantastic. Nita has started this business recently and offers the most amazing afternoon teas. The setting is stunning and the food is delicious. Best afternoon tea we have ever had, and we love an afternoon tea! We will look forward to taking our pooches next time. Plenty of parking. It is outdoor only so if the weather is not great you get it as a take away but you could sit in your car or take it home. Book early as it does fill up quickly, you won’t regret it.

Had an incredible afternoon tea at the Pavilion. Nita was an excellent host and the cakes were delicious. We had a family hen party and there was 10 of us with exclusive hire. Added bonus was the Winwick Champagne from the estate. Well worth a private hire for a party, hen do or baby shower. Reasonable prices and profits go to charity. Will be back again in the summer ☺️

We visited the outdoor restaurant and pizza bar. The bar area had a really nice holiday vibe where you could sit outside overlooking a stunning showjumping arena. The staff were very friendly who quickly served us and took our food order. We had soft drinks and vegetarian burgers, with chips and homemade slaw. It was delicious and competitively priced. We'll definitely return soon, even if to just drink and take in the atmosphere.

This is a phenomenal pub. I travel 10 miles to get here because it’s better than any other pub that I could go to. Lovely cosy pub, great staff but standout food that’s way ahead of what a typical gastro chucks out. I’m a seasoned gastropub visitor of 20 years and this place has it nailed!

Visited on a Saturday night. It’s a warm and inviting stone-built country pub. The menu has a few interesting Portuguese influences and I can recommend the house red wine which is also from Portugal. The menu is not extensive but I’m sure most people would find something they like. I had a pint of prawns followed by lamb cutlets, which came with some nice green beans and new potatoes. The bill for 2 including 3 glasses of wine and dessert was around £100. Not cheap, but good value. It’s a very good option in an area not well served for gastropubs. It’s also dog friendly.
