It's a worthwhile visit. Bacon rolls were fab. All freshly made to order and your 4 legged chum gets a free sausage fantastic.👍👍

Small but super friendly cafe in the centre of Beverley. Dog friendly and a good menu with lots of suggestions - fantastic breakfast menu served until the cafe closes. It was very busy but we found a table and didn't have to wait long for the food.

Superb breakfast destination when in Beverley. The breakfasts are wholesome and extremely tasty. With the largest sausage I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Choice of large, medium and small. My wife had the small and I went for the medium (couldn't manage a large one). Our Cockerpoo had a sausage bowl free of charge. With a good strong cuppa, it was sensational. We shall call here again, the food here is worth every penny. Well done Polly's, don't change a thing.

Lovely cafe with two floors of seating, serving classic breakfast and lunchtime food to a great standard with friendly, smiley service. A hidden gem, so glad we had it recommended to us by a friend.

We always have a bacon and diped tomato juice the bread cakes amazing as well highly recommended

Delicious food, especially the Quiche & latte excellent service. Dog friendly too which is great as we like to take our dog Mason with us on a day out. Thank you to staff for making us feel welcome & comfortable & for Mason sausage . We will be back on our next visit to Beverley.

Cosy cafe just of the main shopping area with outdoor seating. Good service at reasonable prices.

Bacon sarnies have always been amazing with quality bacon.....but unfortunately last 2 visits last week the bacon was all dried up as if it had been cooked twice...did not enjoy it.This is not a complaint just my personal opinion. Looking forward to my next visit to the best cafe in Beverley by far Derek

Nice veggie breakfast, friendly lasses serving and nice to see how caring they are towards their regulars, seems like they all enjoy working there as all chatting and laughing. Sorry but one mark down as felt it could do with looking a bit fresher, the cafe was fairly basic but regardless still a nice little establishment.

We have been on a weekly trek for a while to find the best bacon sarnie in Beverley, and Polly's comes first by quite a margin Fantastic food, great prices, whether you want a quick bite or a hangover busting full English, this is the place to go

Relaxed place to visit and the staff are efficient and cheerful.. cottage pie( with haggis!)was excellent and recommended.. fair enough prices for the good quality.. the tea room is on 2 stories, so only the ground floor is wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, the clean toilets are on the upper level.. the business is dog friendly too.. recommended!

food and staff are brilliant!..but every time I go in it's full of dogs!! which is a no no for me..so won't going I there from now on 🥺

Been to Pollys for second time today First time was just 2 of us and we were very impressed with quantity and quality of food So decided to. Visit again with our dog along with our friend and her 2 dogs was once again very impressed even had sausages for all 3 dogs was plenty an d we were even able to bring some of them home for the dogs . Staff couldnt of been more friendly and helpful Would reccomend Pollys to.anyone . We will be back again to try another dish on the menu ,as there is plenty of choice !😀

Food was acceptable to a degree , it was ok only warm , bacon like cardboard , eggs cooked in the microwave , 1 mushroom cut into segments way overpriced ! But the main factor is that is disgustingly filthy how they get away with that is beyond me , no cleanliness when getting served they touch the cutlery with there hands actually on the spoons not the handles , will never step foot in this dive again

Heavily disappointed. The food was OK, but it was all a bit bodged. Served on a dirty tray, and prepared on the serving counter where money etc was placed. The girl serving didn't have gloves and after touching our food, then when on to touch her mouth and face! Whole place felt grubby and the staff were unkempt. The toilet walls were mouldy and not the cleanest. It was expensive for what we ordered. We won't be making a return trip.

Absolutely delicious Breakfast at great price. Medium Breakfast £12 2 Butchers Bacon 2 Butchers Sausage ( really big , would be equivalent to 4 anywhere else ) Black Pudding Beans Plum.Tomatoes Mushrooms Toast all top quality meat, no cheap sausage or bacon here. best breakfast I've had in a long time. be warned it gets very busy so you may have to wait to get a seat, but it's 100% worth the wait. 5 * from me Eggs Royale, Eggs benefict etc also on the menu

We have visited Poppy's several times, but recently noticed the prices had gone up. The small breakfast in now £10 & drinks separate (over priced for the portions). We won't be returning, we will go to Tesco's In the future. They are outpacing themselves!

Always a treat to visit Polly's. Amazing value, great portions, lots of choice. Tea and Coffee is super duper. Staff are always friendly. Dogs are allowed which is great 😃

Had a great breakfast at this little place, lovely food served extremely quickly, I had Eggs Benedict which were lovely, washed down with a lovely cup of coffee.

She did put the kettle on but the food was a bit limited

I’ve recently moved offices to Beverley, this is one of my favourite cafes to come to for lunch. They do an amazing breakfast as well by the way! Completely dog friendly which is such a plus! Seating is downstairs with a log fire with extra seating upstairs and limited seating outside. The menu is varied with good choices, the food has always been great on my visits and the staff are friendly and welcoming. There are no steps into the ground floor so wheelchair, pushchair access etc should be okay. It’s quite spacious inside to the left on the ground floor; to the right space is a little more limited. Based on my experiences I would totally recommend a visit.

Lovely little café perfect for breakfast

My husband, myself and our little dog visited Beverley for the first time and found this lovely cafe. The food on the menu made it difficult to decide what to have, then the displayed food made it harder and the food coming out of the kitchen made it harder again. Everything looked amazing. My husband had the French onion soup which he said was one of the best he’d ever tasted. Will definitely be visiting Beverley again and this lovely tearoom.

Really cosy little cafe just off busy Toll Gavel, easy to miss. Nice range of snacks/breakfast/brunch ranging from all-English to Eggs Benedict, various pies. Nice pot of tea, bigger than most places, friendly staff.

I adore Polly's. It is my go-to place for a full breakfast. The staff are great, friendly, and helpful. The food is always good. If you're looking for a great local place for a full breakfast, this is the place!

Our regular cafe for lunch when we visit Beverley. It’s good honest grub, it may not be the prettiest cafe but you get what you pay for. Always the same good food and reasonably priced.

Fantastic and tasty food - though very over-priced for what it is. But, the place is in need of a damn good clean. The floor and the table we sat at upstairs were covered in squashed chips and crumbs and we spotted a thick layer of dust on a fan in one corner. There is NO ventilation. The old sash windows have been painted shut and the whole place stinks of burnt grease. Even three days later my jacket still smells of it. There is no waitress service, which I'd expect for the prices charged. Having customers queue to order their food is one thing, but climbing the steep stairs carrying their own trays of hot drinks is an accident waiting to happen in my opinion. To be fair, it was a busy market day and the place was packed. We only went into Polly's as it was the only dog friendly cafe with an empty table. I ordered the 'Big Bap' with mushrooms - which I have to say was delicious. Though the £9 I paid for it left a bad taste in my mouth. Nice enough cafe - but sorry, we won't be going back.

I've tried some afternoon teas around Beverley and this place tops them all. The sandwiches where beautiful and full of meat. And the pastry on the sausage rolls and quiche are to die for. Not to mention the scones and cakes absofrickenlutley lovely. We will defo be returning. Thank you Pollys I'll be back to purchase your pies too!

Always call on my way to work. Coffee and bacon butty or toasted teacake. Friendly staff, food well cooked ( I get my bacon very well done) reasonably priced and I like to support local independent placed

This place was recommended to us the day before. Obviously popular with locals. Staff were friendly and our food arrived quickly, bacon sandwich and English breakfast both were hot and tasty 😋 (never seen a sausage so big). Would definitely go back next time we visit Beverly

Been here in the past, and it's still as good as ever. Good choices on the menu, also specials as well, eg steak bake,cheese and onion pie. Most of menu very reasonable,however price of breakfasts at top end prices, possibly because location in middle of beverley. That said great place for a snack or a meal.

Food was spot in although tables a little cramped. Great value. Busy on a Saturday morning.

We had baked potatoes one with tuna and mayo one with cheese and beans which came with a fresh well prepared salad. Reasonably priced and served promptly. A busy and well managed cafe.

Really love pollys. We've had breakfast here a few times, the quality is great, and you can take the dog in which is a must for us during our Saturday visits to beverley.

Visited this lovely tearoom on sat 22nd July 2023 , with my husband & little cavapoo . We had been to Starbucks & had problems with our dog crying & a rude starbucks worker. The staff in Pollys were really lovely , even bringing our little dog a sausage . Thank you for amazing service & making us feel very welcome . We will definitely call again when we are in Beverly. The food was beautiful , I'm a celiac & my gluten free toastie was delicious & my husband enjoyed his sausage & Tom pie . Ps our little dog enjoyed her sausage 😋. Thank you

Beautiful breakfast. Best poached egg I've ever had. The fresh cooked pies look absolutely fabulous but too full to try them. Staff friendly and helpful. When in Beverley this is where I'll eat in future.

We called for breakfast. Feeling hungry we both had a large breakfast and wow. We couldn't finish it all 3 sausage 3 bacon 3 eggs beans tomatoes mushrooms hash brown black pudding and toast. It was cooked beautifully not greasy. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Entered, ordered, table located, and thoroughly enjoyed full English with 2 poached eggs, 2 sausages, 2 large bacon slices, hash brown, black pudding, baked beans, tomatoes, 2 slices of buttered toast, with a pot of tea included at a very good price.

2022 Excellent food and good drinks. You will love the taste of English breakfast and egg Benedict 🥚😋. This cafe has two floors. I experienced the first floor this time. It's lovely, cosy and warm, like your friends' house 🏠😁. Staffs are friendly 😄. 2023 I still went there to order the bbq chicken melt toasted and hot chocolate, good as usual 😍

Intoduced to Polly"s by friends and enjoyed my first visit here. Accessibility: Down a side street, small entrance step in. Outside and inside seating. Toilets on the 1st floor so no loo for the disabled. Car Parking in main Car Parjs around the Town. Food: Fresh range cooked to order, veggie and carnie options. Staff: Very friendly, helpful and accommodating to some changes in menu to meet wishes.

Best place in Beverley for breakfast. Very busy which is so good to see. Well worth a visit.

The worst hosting ever I seen in cafe. Me and my friend met for lunch and sat up stairs. We just barely finished our lunch and planning to have our coffee after it. She started cleaning up in the room and it's only 2:00 pm. she was dusting hoovering. It's a shocking behaviour very disappointed!!

Sadly not a great experience! Positive: Friendly staff. Good service. Negative: We ordered a Polly’s Ploughman’s. The main ingredients being the cheese and ham! Presentation was attractive, except for the ham. This was obviously the end of a large piece of plastic wrapped ham. Roughly cut, rubbery, gristly and tasteless. Really not good eating/quality. What a disappointment.

What a gem of a find in Beverley. This cafe was so friendly and prices so reasonable and lovely food. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had drinks and bacon baps cost £10, then went back later for some light lunch. The cafe was clean and staff removed any unwanted crockery when finished from your table. We also purchased two of their lovely looking homemade pies to take home for the freezer to have at a later time. It was certainly a lovely to eat. We will return in the future.

Recently stayed in Beverley whilst visiting family and ate several breakfasts here and other places. The others were good, but this place was excellent and was easily the best breakfast I had by a Country mile!! Would highly recommend and will be back on my next visit.

One word..exellent..have been visiting this quaint little tea-room each time i come shopping in beverley..the food and service is top notch and because its down a side street its away from the hussle and bussle of the town which is only a few steps away..xx

Literally the best breakfast I've ever had! I was staying locally and took my best mate out for breakfast on his wedding day. He had the veg breakfast and I had the traditional one - both were absolutely amazing. When ordering you have the choice of small, medium or large. We opted for medium and it was more than enough. On mine: two locally sourced delicious sausages, two eggs, beans, hash brown, mushrooms, bacon and I think some tomatoes too + coffee and it was seriously good coffee! Freshly prepared and all for under £20! Unbeatable in my opinion and I work in the food industry so I know what's good and what isn't...and the kicker...I accidentally left my wallet - 4 hours later I popped in to ask whether they'd seen it and Karl, a manager/owner, smiled and handed it over to me. It had all my cards and a significant amount of cash in it. That's what I call outstanding customer service! Thanks Karl & team!

Found this little gem of a cafe and so glad we decided to pay a visit. The eggs royale was delicious and well worth a try.

Great place to eat would certainly eat here again staff very helpful and friendly can highly recommend the Quiche and the Bakewell tarts just out of the oven were delicious 😋

Take out full English breakfast. It was delicious! Choice of sausage or black pudding, (I did sausage, it was flavorful) eggs, beans, tomato, mushroom, rashers, toast and coffee. Service was super prompt and helpful and I could have hung out with the waitress all day, so friendly! Carl cooked this breakfast, best English breakfast I’ve ever had. The food is quality and it was well prepared, I highly recommend!

Love this cafe and always pop in when in Beverley. Great food (specials particularly good), fantastic pot of tea, and so dog friendly (inside and out)- he even got a full sausage too! Loos spotless. Welcoming service. Highly recommended.
