POINTSIX Coffee House in Derby

Visited Pointsix for a second time with my daughter and partner. We ordered coffee and food. I asked for a pour over coffee and was told that it could be done, even though it was not on the menu. Everything was really good. My pour over and my partners latte were excellent. The food was very good. Flavourful and fresh. Will visit the third time.

Amazing place! The food is amazing, lots of choice and good value for money aswell. Staff were lovely. Definitely worth the visit.

Quite a small menu with a choice of yummy cakes also serving hot/cold drinks in a very relaxing and cosy environment with very friendly service, if you can find a parking spot close by give it a go.

I can’t drink caffeine anymore but this place does awesome decaf lattes and decaf flat whites. The brownies, blondes and rocky road cakes are utterly fabulous too, and I adore the veggie salad bowls. I come here every Tuesday and it’s a real highlight of my day! Lovely friendly staff too.

Bacon and brei ciabatta is wonderful......so is the coffee. Just had take out and I would also recommend the bean salad. Great value that will fill you up.

A lovely inviting café space where a friendly welcome and top quality service are guaranteed. We called in as a large group and were served efficiently and with great care to make sure our order was correct. Delicious food and great value too. I would definitely return.

Spotlessly clean and well laid out modern cafe and it is always a good sign when you get a warm and friendly greeting on entering. Probably one of the best coffee's that I have had recently with a freshly prepared light lunch and I could not resist one of the yummy looking cakes.

Excellent brunch of avo toast with bacon speciality coffees. We Loved it and will be back. Also bought two Portuguese tarts mmmm

After driving past for several months we finally had the time to park up (free parking on nearby streets) and visited for lunch and so glad that we did. Fantastic modern café just out of town. Inside and outside seating. The staff were smiley and friendly. Best tasting coffee we’ve had in a very long time. I ordered the Mexican panini and my husband ordered the Avocado, Tom & Chorizo on toast – both our meals were excellent and beautifully presented. Will definitely be returning.

Really enjoyed calling in for a coffee here. Very modern & well decorated. Good spot, slightly out of the centre, so free parking in streets nearby.

Wish I had tried this first as this was the best coffee I tasted in Derby. Friendly staff and nice outside space. Tasty scones although maybe little pots of jam to go with the cream.

We decided to visit Pointsix a couple weeks back after months of going past and threatening to go in and I will say I it was certainly worth the wait. We went in for a late morning brunch, the setting itself is really clean and modern. I had the eggs benedict which I must say was fantastic my partner had the scones which again were great. We definitely won’t be leaving it a so long this time before we return!

I met a friend for brunch here and had a lovely time. We arrived at 1030 and it was really busy with lots of parents with small kids - but we still found a table. It was busy throughout our 2 hour stay - with a real mix of clientele. The food was excellent - and beautifully presented - I would highly recommend the eggs benedict. My friend’s avocado and feta on sourdough looked fabulous too. The only minor issue was for my diary free friend they were out of oat milk, and after she’d had one coffee they were out of almond milk too! But not the end of the world. Overall a great find, with friendly helpful staff and excellent quality food.

Great decor and good quality freshly cooked food. Only criticism was the panini was lacking in the content department - would rather have gone without the side garnish and had more filling for the price.

I’ve been to Point Six a few times now and it exceeds expectations every time! There’s a great atmosphere, the decor is modern and relaxed and I’ve always managed to get a table, but there’s plenty of seating outside if not! The staff are really lovely, always go above and beyond and deliver service with a smile. They offer a varied menu of breakfasts, sandwiches/paninis and a decent amount of vegetarian and vegan options too! The service is always quick considering all their food is made fresh and everything I’ve tried has been delicious! I can definitely recommend the Bacon Brie and Chilli jam panini, or for a light bite the cheese scones are yum! The coffee is the main reason I go as their flat whites are the best I’ve ever had! I would definitely recommend!

My new favourite coffee shop in Derby! The staff are super friendly and it's beautiful inside with a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. I had a lovely vegan wrap and smashing vegan chocolate cake and hot chocolate. My dad declared the cheese scone as the best he has had......and he has had a lot! The perfect place to chill out on a Saturday with friends!

Such a lovely place! Super friendly service and a great selection of drinks and food at a really good price. Also, it's only a 10/15 minute walk from the uni making it a perfect spot for in between classes/meetings.

Visited with friends. Most tables set to seat 2 apart from large table in middle with high stools..also another 2 stool area directly behind where I was sitting and the corner of that table was catching my shoulder so we had to move even closer to the food counter. We had to borrow another seat from another table as we were 3. The table wasnt really big enough for 3. The chairs were a tad uncomfortable ..wooden chairs no cushions. The staff were very warm and welcoming. My friends had tuna ciabatta with a bean salad which they thoroughly enjoyed. I had eggs royale. I was actually disappointed with this as it was a very small muffin..only 1 small poached egg and a very tiny piece of smoked salmon..Not good value for money as almost £7. Decor is very nice and there is a good decking area outside for when the weather improves.Generally we found it too cramped and there is limited street parking off Kedleston Road.

It is always a great start on entering a place if the staff greet you with a welcoming and friendly smile and here ticked the box straight away. Quite a small cafe but well laid out with good decoration it gives you the feeling of being very modern. Service was quick and efficient and the scone and pot of breakfast tea was very good. Parking may be a problem but there are plenty of streets around to find a spot.

I went with colleagues for a lunchtime coffee and Rocky road which delivered exactly what you’d expect - a nice cappuccino and a sweet treat full of crunchie pieces.

Great atmosphere! Wonderful coffee! Great food! Thoroughly recommend it. First visit today but will certainly be back!

First visit to Point Six. Great Coffee with a lovely Cheese Scone. Quick service, quality ingredients and beautiful decor. A great addition to the local area. Looking forward to my next visit.
