Poco Loco Burrito in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

2 of 3 of us rated the meal as 'ok'. Very very disappointed. Quesadilla was quite frankly disguating! 2 table spoons of meat if that inside the quesadilla, is resembled nothing of the photo on the menu! Basically just a toasted cheese wrap, bland and dry. Despite ordering online to collect at a set time the food was warm, not hot as we'd expect. Would we eat here again? Probably not.

Disappointed ☹️ burrito was all rice nothing like other peoples photos didn’t even look like their photos either, barely any beef in it only one side tiny bit of sour cream and guac. Pulled pork bowl was alright wasn’t expecting grated carrot and lettuce in the bowl bit weird, didn’t taste the sauces they had either, and beef quesadilla was cut weird one bit was full of cheese only and very strong cheddar wasnt nice at all. It was a Sunday maybe they had run out of bits but could of taken it off menu. Meat was nice just shame about the other bits. £40 spent :(

I can’t deny how good the food is, the burrito, burrito bowl and quesadilla, all tasted so, so good. But, your prices are wild for the area. I don’t expect to pay London prices in Newquay. For £11 I expected the quesadilla to be huge, but it’s just two measly pieces. It’s not like the ingredients are complicated or expensive (tortilla, cheese, guac and pulled pork). Disappointing lads. Anyway, the food is delicious but too spenny.

Amazing Mexican restaurant tucked away in Newquay with a friendly and welcoming staff. It's so nice to visit a place that's locally run and not part of a chain. The portions are very generous. We ate in the cosy nook, great atmosphere.

Just about the greatest burger I have ever had. Staff were lovely and the food was out of this world! The smoked beef was absolutely breathtaking and the burrito itself was absolutely filled to the brim. Worth every penny!

Like many others here we stumbled upon the place..driving past we spied the signage did some research and decided to pay a visit. Great food authentic Mexican grub super tasty and generous portions. Will defo go back, a business well worth supporting 👏

My eyes are bigger than my belly! I was surprised at the size of the 'regular' burrito! Absolutely filled me up and didn't have space for a sticky chicken poco bowl. Not to worry I nuked it and had it for breakfast the next day! Amazing burritos, amazing poco bowls!

2 burritos and a beer, 33 pounds seems like a lot to me. But it must be said that they were big and good. The guys at the counter are friendly, the only flaw is the price, which in my opinion is high.

On line orders main priority,waited at counter quite a while but did come across outlet by chance. Food is made in front of you and picked from wall menu. Would recommend but gets very busy,which is a sign food is good.

Whilst on holiday in Perranporth, we accidentally came across this jewel, tucked away near Mcdees!! Love love the food. Big portions, full of flavour. We're missing a poco bowl right now!

We came here initially to get a pizza at the pizza box which closed early. Next door was PocoLoco which was open and we were so glad it was. The 2 guys serving were fantastic, full of enthusiasm, must be owners, and very knowledgeable about what’s on offer. Lovely home made fresh top quality food. Well worth it and will definitely be back before heading home from holiday. Highly recommend.

On holiday and staying at Hendra Holiday Park. Wanted to avoid the factory style dining on site and decided to try Pocco Loco on the way back from Newquay Zoo. Friendly atmosphere with staff who are chatty and informative about the food on offer. Simple pricing structure and some of the tastiest ingredients I've ever had in a burrito. It's so good, we went again after a day out as we headed back to Hendra. Highly recommended, one of the best burrito's and smoked meats I've ever had, clearly alot of love goes into the food. Bravo!

Bombastic burritos! I've rarely had such good pulled beef before. All portions are huge and taste absolutely delicious 😋. Pulled pork is also awesome. We recommend.

The food here is amazing. Me and the wife just walked in and ordered two large burrito bowls, the staff (one was the owner) were really helpful regarding questions I had about flavours. The taste is out of this world. See you again on Wednesday before we head off. Note: This place accepts cash as well so happy days, keep up the good work.

Had a Burrito with pulled pork and nachos to share (beware: large portion). Really enjoyed the food, but especially the friendly service, who helped the uninitiated to pack the burrito correctly. Highly recommendable for a quick meal. Only thing I will leave out the next time is the rice….and order the single nachos portion.

Had one of their burrito bowls with the sticky chicken. It was absolutely delicious and great value at £10 for the small bowl. Definitely worth checking out for a taste filled lunch. There is a bit of seating around if you want to eat there or you can take it with you to enjoy on the beach!

Currently eating my quesadilla in the car because I smelt it and the urge overpowered me. One of the best places to eat in Newquay if not THE. Honestly salivating thinking about this place and I’m sat in the car park, having already eaten in a quesadilla, debating getting a second. All the while my partner noms through her Poke Bowl and I look at her with increasing envy.

Had a Beef Brisket bowl as a take away - very tasty. Ordered on line, was quite a delay for pick up time but it was ready when they said. Definitely order well ahead of time if you do it online.

I traveled to Cornwall from the US with my father who is an extremely picky eater. He complained about the food in the UK the entire time and it was becoming impossible to feed him. Then he had the Poco Loco quesadillas. He saw god in these quesadillas. He said they were the best quesadillas he’s ever had - and this man has only eaten burgers, quesadillas, and chicken sandwiches for 64 years, so believe me when I tell you he is a quesadilla connoisseur.

Oh man this team know how to make a MAN size Burrito ! 🌯 just wow! 👌 firstly... everythjng is displayed out infront of you so you choose the fillings, . Its clearly freshly cooked and always smells incredible. The burrito themselves are perfect and always fill me up... well... almost! Super friendly staff and reasonable prices but the food is above average so worth every penny. Never had a bad meal from there and I will continue going. Huge portions! We were absolutely staggered at the size/weight of the burritos. Really great flavours, and customisation options. If I had one small complaint it would be that the filling wasn't very evenly distributed through our burritos, so you had clumps of jalapenos, or gauc all in one place. Still, next time we're near Newquay will definitely be back. 5/5 Highly recommended.

We had 2 regular burritos, 2 small and 2 loaded fries to feed 4 people and I reckon it would have fed 6. 1 of the burritos was supposed to be a poke bowl, but it didn't matter as everything was delicious 😜 Good value and great flavours...definitely a 👌 👍

Great food, I’ve been a couple of times and took my boys as they love Mexican food. The burrito, loaded bowl & nachos were all amazing. The server gave us all lots of consideration and made sure we were happy with our order. Card machine was a bit on the blink but it worked eventually.
