Pub has changed hands during lockdown. First time back since lock down. Menu was very disappointing. Food was awful. Haddock and chips was only just that. A lot of batter and not much fish. Very dry, tasteless and not worth the price charged. Without the chips it would have been a complete disaster. My wife left some of her lasagne dish. She was not impressed. The service was so desperately slow we were tempted to just walk out and not bother. Truly got fed up of waiting. Considering how hospitality has suffered during Covid, this was not a good experience. My £30 would have been better spent elsewhere? The beer garden could do with a strimmer and mower for a good effect outdoor eating experience. As a local villager, won't be doing it again anytime soon.

Went here for Sunday lunch with my wife, the choice of meat today was Beef or Pork we had 1 of each. Large plates with plenty of meat, great yorkshire puds and lovely gravy, plenty of veg and 2 types of spuds - a 'proper sunday lunch'. Everything was cooked to perfection and very tasty. I was greedy and had Apple & Blackberry crumble & custard for pud, again delicious. Atmosphere was lovely - this is a proper locals pub and the main bar area had lots of locals sitting and chatting at the bar and were very friendly. Dogs not allowed whilst food is being served, i am a dog lover and have dogs but i have no problem with this - we don't allow our dogs into the dining room at home so I don't want them in a restaurant either. Great selection of ales that are changed regularly and very well kept. Very good value for money. I would recommend this proper village pub to anyone :)

We live in Binbrook so slightly biased re the location. We eat here at least once a fortnight for the quiz night. A very good selection of ales always on tap and regularly changed. A good varied 'pub grub' menu cooked to order. The home made Beef pie is a favourite, lots of tender beef and packed with flavour, very good value too. Dogs not allowed until 9pm when food orders are finished. Highly recommended.

This is a village pub that is friendly with good beers and a good sign on these occasions is the locals sitting at the bar and visiting while we where there. Good menu with traditional pub food and specials at a good price. Each of the villages in the area have there own pub with food, the Plough Inn is worth the trip for excellent service, good food and plenty of it, with a fine range of drinks.

The outside of the pub does need updating, but once inside it seems as though new owners have just taken this pub over and are trying to do their best, It has been redecorated to some extent inside and quite nicely too. Food was very reasonable and very good, well, worth a visit.

Enjoyed an excellent birthday meal at The Plough in Binbrook. The menu contains good traditional pub food at very reasonable prices. The Prawn Cocktail starters, mushrooms and filo prawns were very good. The Fish & Chips, Surf and Turf, Lasagne and Gammon provided plentiful main courses. We couldn't manage a pudding! However, they were very good in surprising me with a birthday cake with candles that one of my companions had provided. Very friendly staff and good service. Hand pull beer of good quality, kept well. Wine good as well. Altogether a good meal.

Visited here midweek with friends. Plenty of parking area, located in the village centre. Lovely outside seating for summer days. Inside excellent refurbished rooms completed only a few weeks ago. Tasteful in blue and grey. New tables, chairs etc. Well laid out, attractive bar and excellent range of beers and drinks. Menu is well designed, not extensive but adequately caters for all tastes. Specials also available. Did not get to the sweet's but the info board looked inviting. Good range tried by our party, steak, gammon, lamb and salmon fish cakes. All very satisfying. Service attentive and not too long a wait. Thoroughly recommend you give the "New" Plough a try.

We recently visited with two friends for a Fish & Chip supper. Our food was delicious with fish being cooked in beer batter with excellent portions. A good variety of sweets - if you have any room left. All very pleasantly served by the Chef & (presumably) his Wife. We were very impressed & will certainly go back as soon as possible.

The Plough Inn re-opened in mid 2012 after a program of refurbishment and alterations. It is run by Matt and Nikole who will ensure your visit is a pleasant one. Do not expect to order a meal and then be eating it within 10 minutes as Matt cooks all meals to order ensuring that your food experience will be one that you will wish to repeat!. The produce used is locally sourced / supplied and the fish and chips is fast building a reputation as being among the best in the area. There is a good selection of beers, wines and spirits available and for those teetotalers there is the option of tea and coffee. Guest ales are changed often but the popular 'Bombardier' is an ever present favourite. Car parking is available either at the inn or nearby in the surrounding market place area.

Unfortunately, the Dunes Complex is definitely not wheelchair friendly. There are disabled parking spaces in the car park. However, they were all taken, and some didn't have Blue Badges visible. Once in the Dunes Complex, there are 2 more ramps to consider, the 1st one is quite steep, and the 2nd one is less of a hassle. If a wheelchair user or someone who has mobility difficulties wanted to get to the stage, they would have to ask staff for a further ramp. To get onto the stage itself, well, there are narrow corridors that a wheelchair does not fit through, and there are no handles or any form of mobility aid.

Staying in Aby village for a week's holiday and had to try the local pub. Exterior looks a bit "tired" but don't be put off - inside it's friendly. cosy and lots of character. Excellent choices of dishes on the menu and "daily specials" board - we especially appreciated the choice of gluten-free options and Dawn was happy to go through each option in detail. Good portions and served hot! Very tasty and wholesome. Wide range of dessert options too and it was evident from conversations with other diners, that Dawn would also be happy to adapt these just to suit individual requirements. Obviously very deserving of the many awards over many years.

I ordered a Sunday roast delivery from here and it went in the bin as soon as it arrived! Everything was burnt to a crisp and absolutely disgusting, I would not recommend eating here at all! I've heard from a few people how awful the food has been there for a while now but thought we'd give it a go for ourselves. Avoid at all costs and don't waste your money here!
