Good food, nice friendly staff, have been on various occasions and have enjoyed every meal. Granddaughter loves the pizza.

Food was ok . I ordered my gammon well done it came out at best medium, even after they changed my meal it still wasn't well done, wife ordered medium to well done steak, it wasn't even medium

Regularly come here and have top quality service every time! The food and drinks are always at a high quality, and the staff are all super friendly!

Food was excellent nice and hot perfectly cooked the waiting on staff were lovely and polite cannot fault the place

There was 8 of us food arrived very fast and hot but just the quality to the price was bad £13 for a small burger just 2 small patties

My daughter asked to come here for her birthday meal. It was ok, not at the standard I expected from previous visits. I got the Donner kebab and the small amount of meat I did have wasnt hot. For 13 quid I expected more from this meal. Kebab shop prices not kebab shop quality. The bun on my daughter's chicken burger was burnt and we waited quite a while for our food. Not the best birthday meal but not the worst. A nice touch would have been for the staff who sat us to have said happy birthday to my daughter as it was on the notes and it wasn't overly busy.

Great service, always happy to accommodate. Well cooked pub food with a good variety for all. Park out side with a beer garden. Large car park . Plenty of room inside for family get togethers

Food was cold chips looked like they had been in and out the fryer so anemic One member of staff her t shirt looked like she'd had it on a week rude looking over her glasses at us, looks like she could do with a good wash, didn't even ask if we wanted condiments or come back to ask if everything was OK will def not come back 🤮

Absolutely lovely pub, super friendly staff, made my children feel very welcome, everyone loved my 1 year old twins, and my older lads, food was ordered came within less than 15mins was hot and was delicious would certainly visit again, decor is lovely and cosy too, will be visiting very soon asap

I always have excellent service when I come to the plas coch, we come for any sort of family event as we know we can rely on the staff to give great service and help us with whatever we need. Even in party’s of 10-12 all the food is always perfect!

The first time we have been to the Plas coch for a while and I have to say we had a lovely time.We ordered a drink at the bar and we soon found a table and ordered food.For food I had the Burger&chips and my girlfriend the lasagne both meals were well presented and very tasty,I had the extra fries as the last time I had fries here I think I counted 17.Will be back in the future.

The plenty of parking. Good atmosphere, polite and helpful staff. Its pub grub but the food and drink was easy to order via app or over the bar. The food was plentiful, well presented and well cooked and competitively priced. We will return and I would recommend others.

My family went to the Plas coch Wrexham last month for a birthday meal. Due to the kitchen staffs incompetence my brother was rushed to hospital with a reaction to shell fish that was cross contaminated on a mixed grill, after half the food was raw. My 1 year old nephew also had an allergic reaction to the cross contamination on his vegan meal that had eggs in which he’s also allergic to. I had to leave the meal half way though to rush my brother to the hospital to prevent him dying. And have been told by Ruth Powell Head of Technical Services that is doesn’t deserve a refund, when I also had to spend the night in hospital with my brother leaving my pregnant wife with my mother who was very distraught due to whole ordeal. Appalling customer service from head office.

We book for a large party here every year before going to see a panto. The food is excellent shame no pizza though. Merrill always looks after us and her staff are a credit.

Revisiting due to a first date anniversay, food was excellent and service was top notch.

9 of us visited here for a birthday lunch. We all ordered food and was told the wait was 45 minutes as they had a few orders on. 1 hour and 15 minutes later the food came out. 5 minutes before this we were told they did not have one of the meals and to choose a different meal. Why they didn’t tell us sooner I don’t know, because that person had to wait longer. When the food did come out it was cold, items missing from the meals and veg that had looked like it was kept under the heat lamp for quite some time as it was dry and hard. We had a round a drinks for the wait and the birthday person was offered a free dessert. As we did not want to stay there we declined this and asked for money back. Well the face and attitude of the manager was horrendous. Even the bar staff had attitude. Safe to stay we will NOT be returning again, my partner was so upset and apologised to the guest for the poor service we received. It should have been the manger and staff that apologised. I think we only had 2 half hearted apologies throughout, and they could not care less when we left. Very poor service and I would avoid.

I would just like to say a big thank you to all the staff on Thursday afternoon. My Nan was taken ill in the restaurant and passed out. I cannot thank the staff enough for all their help. I didn’t get any names in the panic but there was one lady who was extremely helpful all the way through and two of the young men that helped her get to the car. I cannot thank them enough for all their help. I would just like to inform you at head office what wonderful staff you have at plas coch and pass on our thanks for everything they did.

Our waitress Sarah was absolutely brilliant Explained there would be a 25 min wait as it was really busy, kept us updated throughout- did the meal check and was very polite and friendly throughout

Called in on our way to the rugby. Great pub! Surroundings were good. Friendly, chatty staff, and our food was lovely. If you are in Wrexham then go there!

Food was delicious. We were 30-minutes too late for Sunday Roast, but fish and chips and steak and ale pie were very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Came in drank nice beer, ate a nice gammon steak and had great service from Nia and the manager and the bar staff.

Visited around 2.45 July 16th staff very attentive. Ordered from the lunch menu. My husband had fish & chips. I had scampi & chips. Food was freshly cooked to perfection. Definitely go again.

Another lovely visit, staff friendly and welcoming, food was gorgeous, I had the fish and chips, my husband beef lasagne food was hot and cooked lovely, our waitress chatty and helpful.

Popped in spur of the moment and was greeted with a friendly welcome. They were able to accommodate us (4). Even though we didn't pre book which I didn't know you could until I searched online using the free WiFi so have booked for our next visit next Wednesday 10th for the curry night. Can't wait.

I chose the Plas Coch specifically because of the 20% off offer. I signed up and got the code, then booked a table for Friday teatime, the first time I’d tried taking my three children and my grandson out for tea. I tried to order through the website but there was nowhere to put the code, so I went to the bar and queued instead. I gave the server my code and read out the items from my basket. It came to the same total so I asked if she had put the code in. She said yes, so I paid. But she didn’t give me a receipt. And when I checked the menu afterwards I had paid full price. It really soured the experience. The server for our table was lovely and staff were clearly engaged and happy, just a shame it was a poor experience trying to redeem the code. Food was fine.

Staff really helpful showing us to our seat and we can order either through the qr code or can order at the bar .service was quick and meals were nice and hot and prepare to how we asked .So overall i would really recommend the plas coch either for a family meal or just the two of you

Clean and tidy, food was hot and presented well. The staff were amazing served by Jess who is great at her job. had an interatcion with the manager on duty who was a credit to the pub and went above and beyond with a smile on her face.

Went in at lunchtime for a drink and food, stood waiting behind a couple ordering food, a que developed behind me, lad on his own behind the bar looked like he didn’t have a clue what he was doing. A guy walking round collecting plates with no thought about helping him serve, a girl came out from the back behind bar and just stood there and didn’t help serve. After 25 mins waiting to get served at the bar I walked out and went to the Acton pub, which was busy but got served within 2 minutes.

Staff are always helpful and friendly. Consistently good food at an excellent price. Very clean and pleasant surroundings.

Fast and friendly service and very good food

Was unimpressed with food fries were rock hard. No chips available. Pizza was sat on side for ages before being served with anyone able to walk past it. Very unhygienic.

Had a lovely meal at plas coch and amazing service from the waitress nia. She was very hard working and made the experience for us all very enjoyable. Will definatly go back again.

Shocking customer service. As soon as we walked in we were ignored until a guy begins the bar looked at us and said "yeh". Was made to feel like an inconvenience by wanting to put money in the till. Bar staff didn't want to be there and it clearly showed. They either need retraining in customer service (its not hard to fake a smile I did the same job for over 10 years) or putting in back of house washing dishes so that they don't have to deal with the public and the public don't have to deal with their miserable faces.

Booked a table for 7.30 pm on a Friday. On arrival we were greeted by a very polite man who showed us to our table and explained there was a 40 minute wait for food. We were fine with this. Ordered drinks at the bar and food via the app. My daughter and I ordered pizza, they came within 15 minutes but both were cold. I told the staff member who served us and he was very apologetic. My daughter didn’t want a fuss but as my pizza had chicken on I accept the offer of a freshly made one. It all went downhill when I went to the bar for a glass of wine. It was quiet and there wasn’t anyone else waiting to be served. A very moody looking girl behind the bar spotted me m, rolled her eyes and walked away towards her colleague, she then loudly asked him “do you want to serve that woman?” When her colleague said he was busy she approached me, clearly fuming so I told her not to bother serving me. I did make an on the spot complaint and believe she was spoken to but I won’t be returning. Disgusting service

It was a Meal out for my dads 60th birthday and well they couldn’t have done enuff for the 12 of us and especially for my son who is autistic they catered for him even with 8 food allergies and also had sensory issues so they made him a meal that wasn’t even on the menu ☺️ they sat us in a quiet area so he could enjoy his experience aswell as everyone who was in our group the park and large area outside also was a huge help so he could go out and have a space to get away from it all when needed .. everyone who helped our group or served us needs a big thank you saying to them we all went home happy and full will definitely be visiting again ☺️

Stopped in as a family to have a cheeky pint whilst the kids played in the park. Our experience at Marstons establishments has always been quite consistent, and this one was no exception. WiFi easily accessible outdoors, QR code on the table, worked seamlessly with Apple pay. Food promptly delivered. Pizza was delicious and immediately demolished. Halloumi fries were excellent, crispy on the outside, soft and not chewy inside.

My meal was nice but my husband's wasn't. The breaded mushrooms were hard and watery, his fish was again solid batter not overly hot.
