Very good. The baklava was especially good. Staff were very attentive and seemed to know all the regulars names which is always nice to see.

Food is OK every time we go we wait ages and got plain rudeness when went to checkout to pay.rather not be made to feel like crap

I was told that they didn't accept cards because it costs them. I explained card was king during these CoVid times. He started blabbering behind his mask saying it was his choice what money he accepted. Argumentative and incoherent. I just walked out and gave my breakfast business to a very nice restaurant next door (cafe le manger). Tough times call for decorum and respect. Planet Sweet lacked both.

Recycled food and over priced,. Always check your change,. Make sure that you clear your plate as left overs will end up on someone elses,. It,s run by 2 ginger batty men so don,t bend over 😵

Great portion sizes, fresh food. Lovely salads and jacket potatoes, plenty of fillings. Staff are lovely. Pop in for just a coffee (or take out coffee), or a lovely lunch with friends or by yourself. Quick service and open cooking area so you can see the cooking. Great fried breakfast s and omlettes too.

These people are rude. They think this cafe is something it's not. Walked out before even sampling the food as service is your first impression and there was none.

Well worth a visit in the centre of Horley if you want just a drink or meal — sit in our outside and the staff are very friendly

We have been regulars at the cafe for 5 years since we moved to Horley, the staff are the most friendliest and kindest we have met. If it's just a coffee or the family are visiting we will go to the planet sweet as we know everytime the food is on point. Billy and the team are a local landmark. Thank you Pete and Amy

We had breakfast here on a chilly morning in late December. This was the only place open that was nearby and we weren't disappointed. It's not 5 star but the portions are hearty, the coffee hit the spot and the small staff friendly.

Amazing selection of dishes, well prepared, cheerful atmosphere, friendly staff. All in all, something for everyone.

We are both very regular and very satisfied customers at Planet Sweet. Recently I had a portion of fried bread which was SO GOOD as it was served golden & crisp - not burnt dripping in old fat !! My other favourite is " Billy's " lightly toasted teacake served hot without either butter or jam. For a small café this one has a huge variety of freshly cooked food and according to my husband the best coffee in Surrey.

I've been here numerous times for breakfast and sandwiches to takeaway, delicious every time. I even tried the peanut butter and banana toastie which was surprisingly good

Whilst eyeing up what to order, the worker did not look happy and repeatedly asked us what we wanted, even though we were clearly not ready. This gave a bad start to our experience. However, I must admit that the portion sizes are generous for the price and are doable in terms of taste.

After flying into Gatwick from Canada, we decided to stay overnight in the area prior to heading into central London. In an effort to alter our sleeping schedule for the new time zone, we forced ourselves to stay awake and walked from our inn into central Horley, to find an unpretentious cafe for lunch and a strong coffee.

The bacon, brie and cranberry panini is by far the best that I have ever tasted. Generally ordered anywhere else , both brie and bacon are served cold and there is notable absence of any cranberry. My husband comes to Planet Sweet on a daily basis for coffee each morning + either a bacon or sausage sandwich or sometimes scrambled egg on toast .All the food here is cooked to order , the café is extremely clean and nothing is ever too much trouble for the very friendly and efficient staff . In short this in our view is by far the best café in Horley. !!

A great run turkish cafe, do a big selection of meals, loads of variations of cooked breakfasts, and lots of meals with chips. Had a turkish version of Mousaka with peas in, pleasant with a large portion, a good side salad and a lovely latte....

All the food I have eaten here has been very good. Prices are very reasonable. Portions are big. The cafe is always very well subscribed so that gives an indication of the excellence of service and food.

We found this place while we where walking around Horley.We had an amazing coffee cake and a really good cappuccino. Not to expensive and good service.

It was 1pm, I was in Horley starving, having missed breakfast. There it was; a sign, English Breakfast All Day. Perfect. I ordered the full English: 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 proper long sausages, mushrooms, plenty of beans, half a tomato, two buttered toasts and tea - all for £5.70. If I lived here, I would go every day...maybe I should move?

Not a bad establishment at all. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I have visited a couple of times and found the food to be overcooked to an extent, especially the breakfast. If you want a typical cafe then this place is for you but the quality of food could be better.

New to the area so thought I'd try this place for a coffee. I am no connoisseur but the coffee here is not recommended. I asked for a flat white & it has to be the worst I've had. Send you staff on a barista course so they can make a decent coffee!

Been in a few times then I actually looked at the food and noticed what rubbish it was and how cheap and nasty the sausages looked, if feel anyone could cook a better breakfast and the ingredients need to improve. Just made me feel sick and leave half and for a greedy hit like me that's saying something

Popped in to grab a take away breakfast sandwich sausage egg and bacon. Very low cost for a great sandwich. Friendly staff too

Went to Planet Sweet for lunch as was working nearby. Just had a roll and a cup of tea; perfectly pleasant but quite expensive at £5:10. One slightly odd thing was that the salad garnish was dressed with chilli dipping sauce rather than salad dressing - slightly strange

This is the place to be for the best ever bacon sandwich, with a choice of a thin or thick crust bread. Also on offer is a choice of a variety of 20 different breakfasts which range from Mega Star to Light.. Also included within the " set " breakfasts are toast as well as either tea or coffee and the option for the eggs to be fried, scrambled or poached. The entire range is on offer all day for an exceptionally good price which ranges from £7.45 for the Mega Star to £2.95 for Beans on Toast.Although as regular eaters at Planet Sweet - as will be noticed by my reviews - we also notice that this is the choice of a great amount of other regular people who come to enjoy good food and very friendly service. Although we are both aware that there is choice of the many other cafes in Horley offering probably similar food neither my husband or I would consider changing our favourite place to eat.

Love this little cafe. Nothing fancy, just good fresh food and friendly staff. They do really nice fresh salads and bakes potatoes and my kids love the milkshakes. Breakfasts are great and good value for money. The boys usually get a lolly and a friendly hello and goodbye.

Went here for a quick bite to eat and wasn't disappointed. The service was great as was the food and all at a very good price.

As regulars at Planet Sweet our thanks to Billy, Harry, Monika and Orsolya for all the friendly service and excellent food during 2015 which we have both thoroughly enjoyed. Modest café literally in the centre of Horley been passed many times, and dropped in we had two jackets, two drinks, all of reasonable quality £6 per head.Pleasant owners worth visiting if you want a quick bite to eat.

Having worked in Hospitality before it is tricky finding places to eat, especially if you can see the kitchen. However I keep going back to, Orange Cafe as my colleagues and I call it, not only because of the food but because of the service. Those that run it have high attention to detail and a great personal touch. They remember our orders and are always up for a laugh. My colleagues and I are frequent visitors and come every week. I came in with my fiance today for breakfast without question knowing theit dependable nature. Regardless of how busy it is the food is always on time and there is even the take away option. Love it here !

this small cafe restaurant produces a very comprehensive range of snacks and meals all very attractively priced.Conveniently located in Horley town centre this is the place to visit for breakfast,brunch or late afternoon snack.The staff are friendly and provide table service and develop a good rapport with the customer's. Well worth a visit. it is wheelchair friendly and is this respect the team can be seen to assist to ensure comfort without effort.t

never ever again, the staff was absolutely horrible the food (fulll english took 15 minutes to arrive) it wasn't properly cooked and as we complained all we had in retrurn eas a shrug of the shoulders. Not worth the money or the time, stay well away from this dump

We have just been to Planet Sweet for a perfect early evening meal. Billy cooked two fantastic, omelettes . My husband had a cheese omelette with light and crispy chips and salad. I really enjoyed a cheese and ham omelette with bread and butter. To follow I chose a cherry muffin - these are delicious. My husband tried for the first time a portion of the Turkish baklava which he also thoroughly enjoyed. As Planet Sweet is open until 7pm every weekday,this will now be a regular early evening meal for us - it does save having to cook at home and it is very worthwhile. Our thanks to Billy and his hard working friendly staff. It is plain to see why at most times of the day Planet Sweet has so many regular and satisfied customers.

Nous avons prix notre petit déjeuner anglais au Planet Sweet. C'était très bon et très copieux pour un prix raisonnable. Le chocolat chaud est super bon ! Je conseille sans problème.

a place to meet and have a cake and coffee or a jacket potato and much more on menu . your always certain to get a very large portion what ever you choose , local people love to sit outside and enjoy them selves.

Love this place, anything you order comes out in a huge portion and it's always delicious. My mum always has a jacket potato and can never finish it as it's so big. The pies are stuffed with ingredients, the milkshakes are amazing!! If it's a bit cold out, try to get a table away from the door, they get a lot of customers so you will get cold near the door.

Congratulations to Billy and all your staff for your very well deserved cleanliness rating of 5 awarded recently on 14th July and for a most enjoyable Sunday lunch today. We eat here on a very regular basis as the food is unfailingly excellent with a huge choice which is cooked as you wait. The small team of very busy waitresses are always very welcoming and the service prompt and friendly. I have taken several of my friends for lunch when they have been in the area, they have always enjoyed eating here as much as we do. Our thanks to Billy and all his staff, we are looking forward to our next visit.

I don't normally hang around town for lunch as nothing really excites me around. However I stopped by one day and decided to eat in and chill out for a bit, I ordered a tuna and cheese sandwich toastie and it was surprisingly well made. The bread was nice and thick and soft, crunchy on the outside whilst retaining the softness inside. The filling was generous and it came with a portion of dressed salad! With a cup of tea, everything came to just £4.40. I think I will be having lunch here more often.

Tried planet sweet this morning, not busy, got a seat easy, and there it stopped, waitress was more interested in discussing her saturday night antics rather than take orders, sat for around 30 mins then decided to go, two visits in one day, first and last, never again to planet sweet, the staff quite obvious on the wrong planet

after a busy morning my husband and I decided to go and have a quick bite to eat out. We thought we'd try planet sweet, good variety and fairly well priced.I'd like to call it a posh builders cafe, that serves average food.well priced and good for a quick meal on the run.

This spotlessly clean café is run by a Turkish family for whom nothing is ever a problem or too much trouble. You are always assured of a very warm welcome and there is a extensive menu including sandwiches, takeaways and hot food to satisfy all tastes at a very reasonable price. All the hot food is freshly cooked to order, the range of delicious Paninis are the best that I have ever tasted anywhere - particularly the bacon brie and cranberry .My husband always enjoys one of the variety of flavoursome omelettes, or a filled Jacket potato . As a very discerning coffee drinker he will always have one or two white Americano coffees ( I have the biscuit !! ) There is also a range of delicious cakes in the cool cabinet which are very tempting to sample. We have eaten here at lunchtime regularly for the last years and never fail to enjoy excellent food and very friendly service thanks to the family and their staff.

This is my local cafe always go the with my partner for our lunch break for 2 years now and never been let down.. you would be gutted to miss out

Бывает так, что я не понимаю людей, говорящих по-английский. Но тут первый раз в жизни столкнулась с тем, что не понимали меня. Официант переспрашивал каждое предложение по несколько раз, в итоге ничего из еды я так и не получила, ну хотя бы смузи, и на том спасибо.

didn't realise this café was about to close when we got there however the staff were very helpful and cooked us some food even though it meant that we were still eating when they were actually closed and they didn't rush us either. thanks for feeding some hungry travellers
