Fantastic service and fantastic food as always ordered online and was ready when said even though it was very busy - fish was also gorgeous thank you

Came with my partner we were not very hungry so we asked the staff what would they recommend (something small) they recommended meal deal which we loved nice and crispy.lovely staff and chatty.. Definitely will be back

First time trying a kebab didn’t know what to order so the staff members recommended me three meat kebab Doner, chicken and chicken tikka with salad garlic and chili amazing kebab really polite staff definitely visit them again.!

Have noticed changes but not for the better , staff seem miserable not smiley and engaging like they used to be . The shop is looking grubby broken tiles dirty corners salt on the serving area even though they have just opened. What a shame hope they can get their acts together snd up their game again.

Order over phone the line is so bad we got a chicken burger in a plain bun when we wanted 1/4 pound cheese burger. Chicken kebab was the worst I have ever had it didn’t look like chicken and sloppy sauce made it sloppy and inedible it went in the bin. When we rang to say order was wrong they didn’t want to know and said I got what I ordered. Will never be back.

£5 for chips curry sauce and a sausage on a small tray wouldn't bother wasting your time batter was shocking curry sauce wasn't nice

When I have called in over the last couple of years, they've had a big sign boasting that their fish and chips are the best for many miles around. This is a bold claim. And I agree with them. Good quality and good portion size!

Looking for a good Cod and chips I was informed that the Plaice2be had won prizes for its fish and awards for being the best chippy in the area, so I thought I would check it out.My opinion was not of a high standard the fish was overcooked slightly dry the batter average and the chips undercooked not crispy. Coming from Scotland to visit my Grandma and really looking forward to having great Cod and chips instead of haddock it was disappointing I'm afraid and I can see no reason why this chip shop should have awards it is an average chippy in my personal opinion.I have to say that the staff were friendly but the food not up to scratch sorry.

Heard the fish and chips were very good so we paid them a visit. In our view just a normal chippy so not on our list of good eateries.

Been looking forward to reviewing here for a while. It was as expected terrific! Chips cooked to perfection, fresh fluffy fish wrapped in a delicious batter. Staff polite, and the establishment is spotlessly clean. Well worth a visit. Definitely a 10/10!

Just popped in for chips and potatoe scallops (1portion =3 scallops). Really nice chips, scallops made to order which was fins as I was happy to wait. Will go again.Attached to this is a price list which was correct April 18 as others below have complained at the pricing.

Amazing fish and chips. Just as good as the best one in Bridlington. Fresh and delicious. And they do potato scallops! An absolute must for fish & chip night. We regularly drive past 4 other chip shops to come to this one.

Terrible fish and chips tasted awful. I think I will stick with the other chip shop around the corner called the Mermaid as these are always good.

Not the cheapest place and not the best . Only used this chip shop a few times and food was hot and ok

I will always drive the 3 miles each way from my home in Epworth to get fish and chips from here in preference to either of the chippy's in our own village.

lovely tasty fish n chips, reasonably priced too. would defo go back even though it's a good half an hour drive away.

There are a few fish and chip shops in the area but I find this is the best. Fish coating very light and not greasy like some. Chips ok too. Portion sizes good value for money and quick service.

Called on Tuesday night, everything was cooked to order but I wish I had not bother chips were ok but the fish was absolutely tasteless, I don't think it was cod or haddock you will not be seeing me again

When my sister and brother-in-law told me they drove from Gunness to Belton for their fish and chips, I thought they might be exaggerating a little in their enthusiasm. Not so - the owner makes everything fresh and to order and the portions are very generous. It has been a long time since I've tasted fish and chips this good - same can be said for the mushy peas, too! For those who might not notice, the shop is immaculate as well.

if you want great food that is cooked to perfection then this is the place to go. They sell something for everyone. The owners who work in it are great. Very polite. They never panic when it's busy. There is always a few people in, but you don't queue up for long. So go and give it a try if you live near by.

Called on our way home from holiday one evening and tried the fish, chips and mushy peas. Fish was beautiful, chips and peas good standard. They did a meal deal with smaller fish that might have been better for us given the portion size - one to try next time as we will return

Fantastic fish. There is a lot of choice on the menu including potato scallops. Nowhere else does them local. Also does smaller portions for those with a smaller appetite. This is our go to chippy every Saturday night

There are many Fish and Chip shops, but few seem to have that taste we used to really enjoy sixty years ago. Freshly cooked Haddock, just for my Mrs and I, and chips with some colour, and taste. Cheerful, polite service from a nice clean shop, right on the A161, Belton Mini Roundabout. Many other foods on their menu, but the F&C does it for us. When we got home, and cut into the fish it was really good quality with nice flakes of fish, well cooked, in a light batter. Well done P2B.
