It's October half term and we were staying at Tattershall Lakes. It was so busy we couldn't get through by phone so we popped down and placed our order in person. Having seen they had a delivery to a caravan just along from us we asked if ours could be delivered at the same time (about an hour from ordering) They agreed, the food duly arrived and was delicious. Hot, big portions and even included some non-menu adjustments for our vegetarian daughters. Leftovers were eaten for breakfast before the 5 hour drive home!

Good food, especially sunday carvery lunch, friendly staff, nice covered garden area, or inside restautant, occasional music events. Good value.

Me and my other half were staying at the glamping pods around the corner and decided to pop into the George and dragon on our first night for dinner. We were instantly greeted by friendly faces and loads of compliments about our large dog. The owners and bar staff are all extremely friendly and helped us find some amazing dog walks in the local area. Food- absolutely amazing the quack moo oink burger was incredible. I would definitely recommend to everyone and almost ordered again when we returned a couple days later. Staff/hospitality- again absolutely 5 star could not fault all exceptionally nice and knowledgeable about the local area. Would recommend the visit and encourage people to bring their dogs.

Lovely staff and pub but awful food. Mostly microwaved and portion sizes got mixed up so some of our party had small portions. Only when we brought this to staff attention did they apologise and said they provided the wrong portion size. Offered Chips for free but insisted we have a reduced bill that they agreed to. The burgers had a lump of half melted chedder on them and the beef stew was like hard grit. Really hate to leave such a bad review. Go there for drinks but not the food!

The food that I ordered for my family wasn’t what we expected we ordered gammon it was dry chips and peas fried egg came with salad didn’t ask for the salad no egg the cottage pie came out look like a child meal and it look like a microwave meal not home made as it say on the menu bar staff was nice enough with servicing drinks the atmosphere was ok the music was nice and not to loud
