This place has it all; takeaway pizza, fresh baked bread, coffee and gin! The Pizzas are great and very good value. It's off the main road but sign-posted, worth a visit!

The most delicious pizzas in the world we travel every year and never miss an opportunity for a pizzajotogo. Very friendly, delicious pizzas and worth every penny. The most amazing place with the most amazing bakery during the day which reminds me of my time in Germany.

Really tasty pizzas which are a great size for dinner and a unique location! Highly recommend, and if we’re back we would definitely have again!

This is just such a magical place in a wonderful location. I'm so glad we found it. The building, and the other buildings surrounding it, are so cute and beautiful, it was such a pleasure to visit. The pizza we had was absolutely delicious. We were staying about half an hour's drive away and we went back twice because the pizza was so so lovely, amongst the best we have ever had, crust just right, cheese melted perfectly, and we sat and ate our takeaway looking out to Eilean Donan castle. All quite magical. We can't wait until we visit Scotland again to go back to Pizza Jo!

OMG the pizzas were just delicious. I’ve eaten pizza all around the world and theirs was the best tomato sauce I’ve ever tasted and in a wee spot tucked away in the highlands. Superb

The most adorable little pizza place decked out like a fairy tale. We phoned in advance and they had to pizza ready perfectly for when we arrived. Really good, crispy crusts and the perfect amount of cheese. Also super safe, with a mesh screen to pay through and social distancing.

Amazing vegetarian pizza served from a cute little hut! Ordered on the way and was ready when we reached. Very prompt service and a delight on nc500 route

What an amazing place this is. Bakery, coffee, Gin distillery and fresh pizza. A group of us had 7 take away pizzas that were really delicious. If you're in this area you must visit this place - it's amazing.

Family sized 'special' (Mediterranean) was seriously the best pizza I've had in Scotland! We got one take away after a big cycle. Yum! Amazing service too, with extra touches like a fan to keep the midges away while waiting outdoors, and blanket to keep cosy if the night was chilly.

We have just had a veggie pizza with garlic oil and have to say it’s one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted thin pastry loads of topping really really nice the 2 girls in the kitchen couldn’t have been nicer all in all will definitely recommend to anyone who fancies a great pizza

I spotted the Wee Bakery on Trip Advisor and then noticed they served pizza later in the day. We picked up a leaflet and ordered by phone to collect on our way back from the Isle of Skye. We had the veggie with asparagus and the pizza of the week which was also veggie. Both were absolutely delicious. We had a half hour drive back to our accommodation, and they heated up beautifully in the oven. I wish I had a photo to share, but we were too busy eating them!

Pizzas were delicious but a little small. Loaded toppings though. The family sized looked better but we could afford with seven to buy for!

Best pizzas we have tasted in a long time. Interesting combinations available as well as wine and beer if you want to sit outside and enjoy the scenery along with your pizza! Really busy take away as well so obviously really popular. Quirky pizzeria with great, friendly service.

After a long day of seeing everything imaginable around Isle of Skye, we came back into Dornie around 20:50. Learned there had been a power outage while we were away and the other two restaurants were not accepting any more orders. Remembered PizzaJo, right down the road from where we stayed and quickly drove down there. Joline was just cleaning up but was amazing and made us a pizza. It was a long day of sightseeing and not much eating, so we were famished!. She sat with us chatting while we waited and also while eating. It was just the way to end the day! Thanks for the pizza and conversation!

Very close to Eilean Donon castle its the yummiest crunchiest freshest pizza we had while in Scotland. Must must go! Its a tiny space with a garden and birds chirping, quite a setting.

Our B&B; host suggested this and our family greatly enjoyed it!! We had a hot beef, veggie, & pulled pork pizza which were unique and all equally delicious. It was more pricy than you’d pay for pizza in the states, but absolutely worth it for the amount of fresh, handmade pizza with unique flavors. Also, my husband picked it up and said it looks like Hansel & Gretel’s cottage so that’s fun too.

Traveling back from Skye Island we take a short break for a meal. PizzaJo was realy a surprise: from scenic fairy tale athmosphere to very good and well topped and delicious pizzas. The personel was very friendly, service quick. We spent nearly £50 for 4 persons, including 2 beers and soft drinks. We didn't try any other local facilities nearby, but in our opinion PizzaJo is probably the best pizzeria far away. Definitely recommend.

We had pizza from here on our first night as we were staying in a local house and had had a long drive to get here. The pizza were just what we wanted and very tasty, good selection and freshly cooked. The ladies who worked here were magically as well, had a good bit of banter with them, they were very chatty and happy to help with suggestions. Lovely place and well worth a visit.

Loved both the Margarita and the days special pizza, Very friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed shortbread from the bakery earlier in the day and purchased 2 of their own Gins.

Pizza's cooked to order using wonderful dough that is thinly prepared. Toppings are plentiful and tasty. Pizza Jo must be served from one of the most quirky pizza huts there is, hand build by Thomas who now also distills his own gin. During the day it is home to Manuella's Wee Bakery and it is well worth a visit if only to view the quirky 'Hansel and Gretel' hhomes that have been build. Tasty food, reasonably priced and that little bit of magic just to make the visit a little different.

We stayed in nearby Balmacara and as many visitors to the Highlands realise, food options can be a little bit limited.

The quirky, Germanic fairytale style huts are an interesting draw, and the pizzas are great and made with care. We sat and waited while they were made and Jo and Paula were really friendly and chatted away to us. It’s a family operation, with a bakery and gin distillery onsite, so this has most of your needs covered! Lovely place

Probably the most unusual pizza takeaway i have been to; very quaint. It is like something out of Hansel and Gretel.

Nach einem aufregenden Tag auf der Isle of Skye gönnten wir uns eine Stärkung im Hexenhäuschen. Von unserem nahegelegenen Campingplatz aus waren wir schnell da. Im zuckersüßen Hexenhäuschen, welches auch innen mit viel Liebe eingerichtet war, wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Es gab eine gute Auswahl und wir verdrückten unseren Pizzen gleich vor Ort mit einem netten Plausch mit der deutschen Besitzerin. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Excellent hand made pizzas made in a more artisan style with character and flare. A great evening takeaway but with some class. Very friendly hostess making for the best experience.

Ordered our Pizza for 5.45, it was ready bang on time, my word, what a fabulous tasting pizza (pulled pork) and mine a vegetarian with additional topping of anchovies. Thin crust, dough made on the premises, good amount of topping and fresh veg. Best Pizza I have tasted. Could take on the Italians it was soooo good. Only one problem, wish I lived closer as holiday in loch duich once a year is not enough time to try more! Perhaps PizzaJo could move to Devon!!!

Great talking to the lovely Jo while watching our pizzas being made. They were both delicious, as were the cakes and bread from Jo's mum at Manuela's Wee Bakery. And the quirky little pizza hut was brilliant. Looking forward to trying the gin when the distillery is finished. What an enterprising family.

Nous avons bien apprécié les pizzas faites dans ce petit restaurant (décoration très sympa et très originale). Elles sont assez copieuses et bonnes. Mais la taille servie ne justifie pas le prix excessif. En moyenne, 10-11 GBP pour une pizza, qui est quand même petite (individuelle bien sûr) même pour un petit appétit. Finalement, avec une boisson, cela revient grosso modo au prix d'un plat et d'une boisson dans un pub. Tout est à emporter (sauf une ou deux tables dehors que l'on peut sûrement utiliser par beau temps).

Really good simple pizza, and one or two not so simple but truly excellent. Possibly the freshest made pizzas I've ever had.

There is something extremely satisfying about eating piping hot pizza outdoors, doubly so if it happens to be in the Highlands of Scotland. All pizzas are prepared to order using the freshest ingredients. The owner/manager was friendly and welcoming, I have the feeling they treat all customers like old friends. Recommended to us by locals during our stay in Dornie. As a pizza-lover, I am glad we acted on their recommendation.

A great pizza. Friendly and helpful. What a find on our holiday! Happy to pay the price to support this sort of venue in the middle of nowhere. A quirky venue to pick up a really good pizza in the highlands of Scotland. Go support this young lady on this fabulous venture!

Had several Pizza from Jolene always lovely and freshly cooked quick and friendly service highly recommend and great asset to the area

After a lot of fish & chips and other shellfish’s we were looking for something else. Gladly we found Jo’s place. The pizza tasted really delicious, the staff was very friendly and the place is nicely decorated. I can really recommend PizzaJo to you :)

...just finished our takeaway pizzas with smiles on our faces! Best pizza we've had in Scotland so far. The pizza dough was superb and the three different pizzas we ordered were all excellent! You can't afford to miss this place when you're in the area (just like Manuela's wonderful Wee Bakery next door!).

Great little take away, lovely fresh pizza cooked to order made with freshly made pizza dough and really tasty toppings served with Smile, I highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the area

We just had two amazing pizzas, freshly made, especially to order and very yummy. If you happen to be in the area, you need to go! We were planning to have a curry, so glad we changed our minds!

Not only the delitious tasty pizza but also the wee fairy house, this place has given us the chance of trying new flavours, as the mixture of apple sauce and pulled pork, while looking to the beautiful Highlands landscapes.

It's the most lovely place I've ever been! These incredible tasty takeaway pizzas are lovely cooked by true fairies inside the astonishing beautiful witchy building :) A MUST if you visit near Eilean Donan castle or in your way to Skye!

I first came across PizzaJo back in April this year when staying on the banks of Loch long for a week, pizza was so good I just had to come back. Just spent another week (June) there so returned for more great pizza.....four times!!

We are staying at the Eilean Donan Appartments and fancied something different to end our trip. If your staying in Dornie, Kyle ect you HAVE to go to Pizza Jo. Incredibly freindly and the food tastes amazing. All made fresh and by hand. I would post a photo of what we had but we at it to quickly.

Stumbled upon this quirky little gem by accident! So quirky and the best pizza ever. Loved the owner. Such a knowledgeable and kind girl. So sweet that her step dad built it for her and her mom runs a little artisan bakery from the same spot! So worth the visit to either sit down or get a take away. Unfortunately no liquor license yet but they are working on it.

The building is brilliant & adorable. Friendly ladies working away. Very good pizza. Had a fun time just looking at the details to this building.

Happy campers stayed one night on Ardelve campsite in T25 VW. Beautiful lochside location with stunning castle views. Great weather, what would make our stay perfect? How about freshly baked artisan bread and pizza? Were we expecting too much...nope Pizza Jo made the perfect pizza and Manuellas wee bakery provided freshly baked bread and before you ask "no we hadn't over indulged on the whisky " can highly recommend, delicious and unique in a beautiful location.

Passed this by chance and visited for dinner. Sat on benches provided and ate pizza in the Scottish evening sun. Wonderful friendly people and great pizzas. Recommend the pulled pork pizza!!

I drove past the PizzaJo sign on the main road while looking for somewhere to camp up for the night so decided to turn around and call in. I’m so glad I did …

Near a perfect camper place and wunderfull castle you can eat the best pizza in a very beautiful surroundings.

Having not been back to this out of the way location for 2 years to find that it has extended with a great range of bakery and homemade cakes and the jewel in the crown was the pizzas fresh made to order with fresh produce and excellent range of toppings. Great service and friendly staff. You must visit and we shall be back.

Pizza Jo shares her space with Wee Bakery - BOTH are a must visit! (Bakery bread is amazing).

We found this place purely by chance, just a few hundred meters past Eilean Donan Castle (over the bridge, signed Bakery) Fantastic fairytale cabin, serving lovely pizzas made to order, and a very friendly welcome. Our kids could not believe such a building existed!

Located off the main road, it's not too easy to find but is next to Manuela's bakery. Situated in a quirky hansel and gretel house, it's pretty unique. The owner is really friendly and knows how to make a pizza. There are about 10 choices and 2 sizes with a weekly special. Nice experience and worth a visit.

A fab addition to the wonderful Manuela's Wee Bakery - Jo's Pizzas were great - and still hot after a ten minute trip in the car. Don't miss this if you are nearby. and the home-made garlic oil is recommended too :-)

Only open at the weekends at the moment but owner said they would be open more in September also visit the Bakery which is on the same site lovely bread, rolls and much more.

Perfect refuelling spot after a day on the hills. Good selection of tasty pizzas. Family size recommended for 2-3 healthy appetites. Generous toppings, all 3 pizzas we ordered went down a treat.

Maybe it's not your normal Italian pizza homemade bakery, but its a great place to stop off for a carry out. The food is top class and all prepared too order. 5*****
