Pizzaface in Brighton and Hove

Hi there i ordered 2 margarita pizza on Friday from your kemptown branch and they were very disappointing ive been ordering pizza from you for serval years and they were the worst pizza I've eaten from there the pizza was all tomato sauce very little mozzarella cheese if that your pizza you now producing i will not be ordering again most of the pizzas was put in  the bin.

Amazing as usual, can’t comment on atmosphere as Pizza was delivered to local pub ( but the pub atmosphere was great)

As a convenient hole in the wall near home, PizzaFace works. Staff are lovely and cannot fault their speed. But all three times we have had it, it has really missed the mark on flavour. You can’t taste any flavour from the tomato base. I got some tomato paste to dip it into and that improved the pizza astronomically. Mascarpone on a Hawaiian is bizarre and ruins it. The base itself is very dry and tastes like it is made of gluten free flour?

Broke my tooth because of the olive seed in their pizza. No warning given. Unacceptable

good pizza, but overpriced and sometimes slow service… might be worth pre-ordering then picking up… but brilliant vegan / vegetarian options :)

Pizzas used to be great but the quality of ingredients is drastically down on my most recent orders. Cheap black olives, peppers don't seem to be fresh ones etc. Really disappointing that they have dropped the quality of ingredients whilst prices remain high.

I have been a fan of this pizza shop for a long time and can’t fault them on any of these dishes as I am a health junkie and they cater for absolutely everything. Today I was a little bit short on my cash and they tried to help me 3times but sadly I had to let it go then a little while later they called me back and had said they had seen I’ve been a customer for a while and the so so so kindly did some alterations and helped me out and was able to eat tonight thanks to their kindness and support and understanding of my dilemma all I can say is that it actually made my emotional and guys I am very happy and grateful for your help I hope that you all get the same karma many times in the future ..bless badger🙏🏼

The best takeaway pizza in the UK! Always get one when we are in Brighton. The Jakub is amazing

I am half Italian so fussy about pizza , I moved from elm grove area of Brighton to Kemptown about a year ago, I have had pizza from here before and completely forgot it was 5 min walk from me, I was very hungover and hungry , I had the Holy cheese pizza it was tasty , not up to Naples standard but still vey good

really good choice on the menu, some pretty unique offerings and vegan and GF options tasty pizzas with plenty of generosity on the toppings!

I got a delivaro from here a while back and it was awful. But this was the drivers fault as he forgot the ice cream. Had a revisit but to the restaurant I had the four cheese was very nice and tasty also service was good

I got the nutriel vegan pizza, it’s without vegan cheese and it was yummy. Great thin base. I think it’s hard to get vegan pizza right, it’s a tough call between 4 and 5 stars. Went for being generous since I’ve had some of their other vegan pizzas too and the toppings are definitely not shy. It’s definitely one of my go to local places.

I absolutely adore this pizzeria - their gluten-free pizza is fanatics! HOWEVER, I urge anyone reading this NOT to order the vegan pizza. I thought I'd try it but oh, what a mistake that was! The "cheese" was atrocious, it totally ruined what would have been a pretty nice pizza!

Pizzaface were really quick and helpful with sorting an order out after a small mistake - the chefs are clearly top-notch and the pizza was amazing! The delivery man was lovely too, and kind enough to wait a moment for us to get home - all round fantastic service!

Ordered over the ‘phone and picked them up fifteen minutes later. At around 6.30 on. Saturday night they were getting busy and you could tell the staff were gearing up for a demanding evening. Vesuvius is great but very few ingredients alongside a Marguerite with even fewer. £23 seems extortionate when for the same price less than half a mile away you’d get a better experience at Pizza Express at the Marina. But you’d have to drive, get a bus etc so maybe you’re paying for the local convenience. I’ll continue to support them but hope the pizza topppings become more generous. Please note this is take away only, it is not a restaurant

Pizzaface does the best pizza in a city with lots of good pizza. Big selection of veg and non-veg toppings. Quality of the ingredients really noticeable and price is reasonable despite that. The team is always very friendly and really make you feel like they appreciate your custom, which makes it a pleasure to go back!

Pizzaface is my favourite pizza place in Brighton! I still daydream about a special they put on in March 2015. It was a tomato sauce base, with vegan cheese, artichokes, thinly sliced radishes, thinly sliced fennel, and a sprinkling of fennel seeds and chilli flakes. It was the best pizza of my life. While they may never have surpassed that one magic moment, they have also never disappointed — their pizzas are never too oily, have the right amount of toppings, and whatever the vegan cheese they use is delicious. If I am in Brighton and I want pizza, there's nowhere else I'd go!

Have ordered from Pizzaface in Kemptown loads of times, and have never had a problem before. However ordered the Theodora on Saturday, and once i got home I realised it was grossly undercooked, and the prosciutto was weirdly grey 😵‍💫 had to put it into the oven for 15 mins myself before I could eat it. Disappointing.

have ordered from pizzaface on ubereats for ages and always loved it but went to pick up for the first time and the team were super friendly with mega quick service! 10/10 especially for vegans

Lovely back street pub near the prom but slightly off the tourist runs. Real old style decor inside. From the outside it looks small but whilst the door area is small the pub is very large inside. Long bar with toilets downstairs and a restaurant upstairs. Did not try the food but it looked popular, beers were decent if a little expensive. Staff efficient without being welcoming. Great place to visit for the architecture and memorabilia alone.

I’ve been here a few times for drinks and sharing plates. Today decided on a New Year treat of fish and chips. It was very good and generously portioned. As on each previous visit the service was swift and friendly. It’s a good place.

Amazing hot fresh tasted amazing

We had an office pizza lunch today and ordered 44 pizzas - they were ready in 1 hour and were delicious! The whole office enjoyed their lunch - so grateful to Pizzaface for such a fast turnaround - will definitely order from them next time. The vegans were happy and the gluten free - all the pizzas were so fresh and very tasty. Thank you!

I tried once the pizza from Hove brunch and it was delicious as I couldn’t forget the test and was looking to try it again. However, I ordered one from Brighton brunch and was really disappointed. The Almounda pizza was bitter and cold. I spent £16 for nothing. I couldn’t finish the second slices 🥲. Anyway avoid ordering Almounda pizza.

Always love a Pizzaface pizza! I tried a vegan option this time and was not disappointed. Their dough is the best in town!

Not a very good pizza overall. I like that they have spelt base option (which was ok) but other ingredients where not very good.

I really have to hand it to the team at Pizza Face Kemptown. They are a hardworking bunch of legends, knocking out beautifully fresh, hot delicious pizzas every day, but on this particular day, in 40mph winds and heavy rain, they really aced it! My pizza was delicious, margherita with extra basil and garlic. I’m very lucky to live so close. You’re a gem Pizzaface- from a very grateful customer ☺️

Great pizzas with simple toppings. Veggie, vegan and gluten free available. Crisp bases and luscious toppings baked in a great oven. Lovely refreshments to be enjoyed with your meal from the fridge.

BEST PIZZA IN BRIGHTON! Served by the loveliest crew in town. Delicious pizzas here for every taste. Can't fault them. I love the porky one with lots of rosemary on. The herby goodness blows my little mind. They are even good the next day heated up in the microwave for lunch.

Okay-ish to good pizza, depending on variety. Overpriced though. The meaty pizza was once very meaty 3 or 4 more years ago, and I frequently treated myself every month; but much less these last few years, so now months go between ordering, and I may now go elsewhere. I'd really rather places charged more rather than reduce quality, but these pizzas are already pretty pricey. Nice coleslaw though. Staff have been friendly, and service was reasonably quick, so mediocre rating not their fault.

The pizza is delicious, but unfortunately they sell a 'Gluten Free' pizza with some sort of stupid disclaimer which is very much not gluten free. We ordered as takeaway. Take the gluten free tag off or change your approach before you harm any more coeliacs... Wouldn't bother to leave a comment usually but they show up when you search for 'gluten free restaurants' so felt it necessary!

I order online and when I went there to pick up they didn’t prepared the pizza,They said to me they didn’t receive the order they told me there is a glitch in the app. Ridiculous do not order at this place.They don’t have a curtesy to offer you a free drink for inconvenience. I would never recommend

Pizza itself is delicious, but it's overpriced for what it is and their service can be pretty awful which often ruins the experience. Because it's essentially a group of high guys making your food (smoking literally around the corner of the shop) half the time your ticket won't be logged or your pizza might not be cooked properly. When it works it's great, but their service is non-existent. Not even a sorry for not logging my order and making me wait an extra 10 mins while they finally put it through. It's not the biggest inconvenience in the world but I hate the attitude - a simple 'sorry about this' goes a long way, instead I wasn't even told directly my order wasn't put in, this was just second-hand knowledge from them talking amongst themselves.

The pizzas here are simply incredible, i basically lived off these when they were doing the NHS deal during lockdown. If you want to have a great pizza without fail, go for this.

It's nothing special to be honest, they try to make it fancier than it really is at the end of the day, it's just an average pizza. A lot of the time it's just burnt.

Their base made « without gluten » was the most disgusting pizza I ever came across, although the toppings were really good.

Ordered pizzas last night (20th) and was just very disappointed. The pizzas are much more expensive than even some pizza restaurants and the quality is just not there. Also a number of staff not wearing masks which puts me off.

Pizza delivery, ordered a PECORA and the cheese was quite odd. Surely they do not use fresh mozzarella or fior di latte but some processed shredded cheese. I don't know if it was the cheese, but I've spent the last 24 hours with abdominal cramps & very funny tummy. My wife had a pizza with cheese and felt sick too. AVOID

He comido, en el pasado, bastantes pizzas de la sucursal kemptown de pizzaface, anoche comí otras dos, pero nunca más. Pizzaface ha tomado la ruta de reducción de costos de usar una terrible mezcla de queso que hace bien la pizza con una sustancia gomosa, después de una hora de espera para la comida, aparte de la decepción, encontramos algo más para comer cuando las pizzas se fueron a la papelera.

Ordered online as it looked authentic and fresh, what arrived was not. Overly salty, poor quality mozarella, average to weak tom sauce, basic and not crispy/thin/quality crust. a greasier version of what you'd get in a shop for £5.

Mi pizza llegó alrededor de 25 minutos después de hacer mi pedido por teléfono. Desde que se hizo vegano ha sido difícil encontrar una buena pizza. ¡No busque más! ¡La MEJOR pizza que he comido desde que me mudé a Brighton hace casi 3 años! ¡Llegó muy caliente con una cantidad saludable de coberturas también! No soy realmente un fanático de la pizza, en parte debido al alto contenido de carbohidratos. Pero como mi amigo estaba pagando ...También queríamos una comida rápida para llevar a casa y conversar.Solo queríamos una comida pequeña, así que preguntamos si era posible pedir: una pizza de 6 u 8 pulgadas cada una, o duplicar las coberturas 50/50, ya que una era carnívora y otra vegetariana. ¡La respuesta fue un NO muy definitivo! ¡Así que terminamos con 2 x 12 pulgadas en la friolera de 12 cada uno!Debo decir que la calidad en general fue buena (tuve alcachofa, anchoa, jamón serrano, etc.) pero fue un poco escaso para mi gusto. La corteza era definitivamente piedra cocida. El medio estaba empapado y pesado como era de esperar de tanta harina. Pero se frió bien y su sabor fue tan bueno al día siguiente (como alguien más ha mencionado).Me impresionó que el personal estaba contento de hacer nuestro pedido por 20 minutos mientras cruzábamos la calle para una mitad rápida. (Nota: como pizza una vez por semana en casa, a mi pareja le encantan mis coberturas. Pedimos los hongos con trufa y Meatface, estaban deliciosos! Todavía estaban calientes después de 20 minutos de caminar a casa.

I have been into Pizza Face twice now and just walked out because of how rude the staff are.

La última vez que ordenamos desde aquí dijimos que no volveríamos a ordenar, desafortunadamente lo hicimos. Tanto la pizza era pobre, pero la que no tenía gluten era tremendamente horrible: la base dura rubberry; un rasguño de salsa de tomate; Queso y albahaca quemada. Como dijo mi hija, si vas a hacer bases tan terribles que al menos podrías ponerle un poco de topping.

I worked for pizzaface around 4 years ago, from when pizzaface Kemptown opened.

Was told about this place by a friend so gave it a try and it’s now the only place I’d buy pizza from. Toppings and ingredients are all very high quality and the combinations of toppings are not what you’d find anywhere else. Head and shoulders above your average pizza place. Highly recommend

We have had many, many pizzas from here over the last 6 years. Sadly I have to agree with the last few reviews that the standards and quality have declined sharply recently. We have had burnt gluten free pizzas, missing items and pizzas that are nowhere near the standard they used to be. I really hope they can pull it back to where it used to be because we loved this place.

Such a shame Pizzaface! Was the best pizzeria in town for years but It’s lost the magic touch. They’re smaller, sloppy often burnt and basically a bit crap. The charcuterie box I got last night was packed with wilted leaves and a mean selection of meats. R I P Pizzzaface.

We are quite protective in general of our local shops in Kemp town, and pizzaface bought quality takeaway and collection pizza and we loved it.

Personally I’ve never had a bad pizza from Pizzaface. Ordered so many over last few years and Consistently excellent. But if you ever have a problem they fix it immediately, for example wrong topping/missing item. They replaced our pizza and sent a fresh one in minutes. Excellent service. Friendly staff. Fast delivery. Hot food.

We ordered The Arts Beets and The Ozzy (both vegan) and they were INCREDIBLE. Really nice dough and interesting flavours. The beetroot 'pepperoni' is so imaginative and really does manage to replicate the flavour of real pepperoni. Best vegan pizza I've ever had. Staff were friendly and food was ready really quickly despite it being a busy Friday night. Definitely going to be back again.

Kept calling and they just fobbed us off. its been 2 hours now and still no delivery. Refused to refund as we paid by card over the phone. Offered a voucher for our next order which is laughable.

I can’t sing these guys praises highly enough. Have had delivery from them countless times and it hasn’t once disappointed. Great selection, great specials, great value and always totally delicious. You won’t get a better takeaway pizza in Brighton!

I hate to say it, but like other upscale pizza places they make the unforgivable mistake of using marinated anchovies rather than the usual salted ones. I'm afraid that's a dealbreaker for me so until they see sense I'll get my pizza elsewhe

We got takeaway pizza and a garlic bread, and unfortunately ALL the meat tasted high. Left a gross taste in the mouth. We picked the meat off but it left a sour taste on the pizza still. Wasn’t just the small pepperoni, the big slices tasted weird too.

Takeaway only, but the best pizza in town, head and shoulders above the competition. Some unusual toppings (boar sausage - yum), and generally just...tastier.

My partner has recently been laid up in the Royal Sussex Hospital & really fancied a pizza for his dinner. So I ordered a vegan margherita on line to collect from Pizzaface on my way to visit him in the hospital.

I ordered the Gabriel and the Veganuary special and both were absolutely delicious! No other pizza company has satisfied my need for a cheesy pizza. It was delicious, delivered bang on time and super hot!! Highly recommend!

Ordered delivery from Pizzaface. We ordered the Tom Yorke and the Ozzy vegan pizzas and the Margherita pizza with goats cheese for our veggie daughter. Pizzas came quicker than expected (bonus!).
