Lovely venue, staff were absolutely top notch, went out of their way to accommodate food allergies and my daughters 21st birthday. Food was delicious and good value. Were accommodating of an allergy without fuss. Excellent procedures in place to ensure allergen free. Highly recommend, especially for the food and the amazing staff. Thank you all

Lord Jesus… These Pizzas! First time at Franco Manca Hove and let me tell you something – I was NOT ready! These pizzas were to die for. Seriously, yum… I took one bite and had to pause and thank the Lord 🙋🏽‍♀️ oh and the sauces! OMG 🤤 The staff were lovely.The prices? decent too. I will go again and take a bib.

I had food here on a Friday night. It was really busy. We should have booked a table. It was lucky for us to get one. The food was good. My pizza was really tasty, but my friend didn't like his pizza as much. The garlic bread was really good. I will skip the salad next time. The portion was small and nothing that special. Service was slow because of how busy it was. The waitress forgot our water, and then salad. The salad finally came after we asked for it when we nearly finished the meal. I think if we come at a different time when it's not as busy, the experience might be better.

We were served by Cerys, and despite not having a reservation and the restaurant being very busy, managed to fit us in. Cerys was extremely polite and professional…a real credit to Franco Manca. Thank you Cerys !

The best food but even better service by our waitress, Su. She made our evening even more enjoyable and because of Su’s hospitality, We shall be returning back very soon!

Emine our waiter was so friendly and fun. She made our experience feel very warm and comfortable. A perfect choice of restaurant for a quick escape with the children on a Saturday evening.

Lovely restaurant with good vibes and excellent service. All their pizzas are available on standard base or gluten free. Very reasonably priced too! Would highly recommend for pizza lovers and especially celiacs. Good vegan options as-well.

Very nice takeaway pizza which I collected in person. Just a shame I was back of the queue behind all the takeaway couriers whom sadly, it seems regularly take priority over the customers who can actually be bothered to collect their own orders.

Were able to get a table without reservation but they say definitely reserve on a weekend. Great pizza and the dip sauce for the edges is the best addition.

Ordered a ‘yellow fin tuna’ salad. So, basically some leaves with maybe a a quarters (prob less actually) of a tin of cheap supermarket tuna for £12.

Had a fabulous time. The service was great, we were taken care of by waitress Su, she ensured we had everything we needed and was very attentive and helpful. She even gave us a complimentary shot of lemon cello at the end!

The service was stellar and the food was good. Pizzas aren't cut which I'm assuming is by design. I personally would have liked some sort of info on that or the types of pizza that it served. The flavors are fresh and lovely. The sourdough crust was superb

Su was so lovely!!! Sounds crazy but I don’t actually like pizza, but I had the Number 10 and it was so good. Su was very patient with some technical difficulties with the discount we tried to apply and sorted it out for us. Very friendly <3 I usually struggle with talking to servers etc because of anxiety but I felt very comfortable asking for something with her. Thank you for a lovely evening!! ❤️

Just had a wonderful evening with my family taking part in the Franco Manca pizza making Masterclass. Such a warm and welcoming bunch of people that couldn’t do enough for us. The class was really good fun and well worth it if you have any interest in making your own pizzas. All topped off with us sitting back and enjoying our own pizza creations. See you guys again soon.

I thought the food and service were really good, unfortunately I forgot some cash with me and couldn't leave a tip, and the waiter replied with a smile on his face that there was no problem. I think that the price-quality ratio of food in the restaurant is really very good, I paid about PLN 30 for a large margharite, and in Poland I would get a worse and smaller pizza for this price. I think it's really worth visiting this pizzeria because it's very sad that they have such good food and the atmosphere inside, but so few customers.

As a Sicilian, the best pizzeria in the whole of the UK. Highly hydrated Neapolitan dough and excellent quality ingredients. Price like in Italy

Our waitress was brilliant, the pizza was average. Was disappointed with the uncomfortable seating and glass tumblers for our wine! I think the identity of this place is confused... sitting somewhere between a fast food restaurant and an Italian restaurant. It's a shame, a few little changes and this place could capture a more adult clientele.

I was craving pizza and I didn't know I went to the right place. The pizzas are very delicious and Ms. Sue helped me to try these beautiful pizzas. She made suggestions and thanks to her, I had this beautiful experience. She was very friendly and polit. The service was excellent.

We came here for my birthday - because as pizza (chains) go this one is the best by far. The service is always first class and we go that here tonight. Our Host (I presume was the manager), Simona was amazing. She was super friendly and when a starter turned up, she immediately replaced it as she didn’t think the original was done well (enough). She made sure we were happy throughout and it was only when she cleared up our plates she discovered it was my birthday and gave us free Lemoncello shots and some beautiful Tiramisu. The food is very good. There is always a good choice of pizza, which changes from time to time, and more great selections on the board. The pizza was delicious, as were the drinks we had too (Negroni and a Gin & Tonic). Wonderful evening. If you ever want pizza in Brighton or Hove, seek out Franco Manca. There is one in the North Laines, Brighton, and this one in Hove. Well done staff and especially Simona. Five stars

Visited the one in Hove. Very friendly and helpful staff. Was disappointed with the food. Tomato sauce in the starter, tasted like from a tin and pizza dough, the edges weren't cooked properly. The cheesecake was nice.

Pretty good pizza place in Brighton, service is ok

Franco Manca is one of my favourite places for pizza but this time (Saturday night) was disappointing. It was busy when we came in, but make table were left quickly after. We were told at the door to wait for 10 to get a table clean and ready that turns out to be 30. A Second Lady asked us when more people enter the restaurant; we were all seated at the same time, there were other 2 couples so it meant that free tables were ready for us much earlier. We saw other table gentleman, standing up and taking some plates for the table as they were sharing pizza and seems no waiting staff was around. There were 4 people on the floor but not organised at all. Once at the table the pizza’s came quickly but the waiting time when tables were ready was very low standard, and made the whole experience really bad.

McPizza Place. We had to get up everytime to retrieve our waitress: to place orders, more water, desserts, bills. Poor.

Great price for good pizza, has a lively atmosphere. We would especially like to thank Ms. Su for her friendly attitude and helpfulness.

just had a quick dins at Franco Manca hove. The manager was flying solo and she was great! Managed our expectations when we got there that she was understaffed, was still super quick and was really smiley the whole time. Really good service

Nicht zu vergleichen mit einer Pizzeria in Deutschland, geschweige denn in Italien. Der Service ist bemüht. Das Ambiente naja. Im Gastraum ist es sehr laut. Die Pizza war zum Hungern stillen ok, leider nicht mehr. Einen Wein im Wasserglas zu servieren geht gar nicht! Preis/Leistung passt nicht.

I highly recommend Franco Manca Hove. They have very good quality products and very good quality staff. The manager today 7 January 2024 took time to contact me for my lost phone turned over to the shop. I am ever grateful and will always remember the staff and the shop this day . They care about the welfare of their customers. Be blest.

Lovely restaurant in the heart of Hove. Staff are attentive and friendly. The chefs create delicious pizza and we absolutely love it here. Will keep coming back. Great for families as they provide colouring pencils for kids and kids eat free!

We were there Friday night Lovely atmosphere and great customer service thanks to the young waitresses and the amazing host. And the pizzas were mouth watering thanks to the great chefs.

Would not recommend ordering from here at the weekend. Although we ordered early, delivery was almost a hour late and the pizza was unappetising and cold. Very disappointing.

We visited for an early Christmas lunch and were greeted by the lovely Enzo who was incredibly welcoming and friendly (he remained attentive throughout the service and is a real credit to the restaurant). We were a party of 5 and all really enjoyed our different pizzas from the main menu (I was given a doggy bag for mine as couldn't finish it all but of course did not want to waste it!). The sourdough crust was really tasty and all topped with fresh ingredients. Would highly recommend.

This is the first and last time I will use Franco Manco. The food took forever to come and was cold when it arrived. More importantly all 3 items - 2 pizzas & garlic bread - we burnt - actually black and 50% inedible. How a company / manager / chef whatever can think its ok to send a burnt item out to a customer is beyond me. I rang the restaurant to resolve the matter. The first person who answered the phone - an English girl was horrified and tried to help but the 'manager' took over the phone call. This ignorant fool - who sounded italian - was not at all interested. He told me just to claim a refund. I said 'but what about my dinner' his response was 'place another order' - absolute disgrace !!!

Vincenzo is an absolute gem, as are all of the staff. Food, atmosphere and service was exceptional. I highly recommend this place!

This is our weekly spot before boys swimming lessons on a Wednesday evening. We were drawn in by the good value with the kids meals and our two boys who love pizza. Vincenzo and all the staff recognise us now and without fail make us feel welcome taking time to speak to speak to us. Super catering to my partners food allergy and offering interesting alternatives for her. We enjoy our trips here and will continue to visit. After a long day at work and early Xmas presents hunting I decided to visit Franco Manca in Hove Chruch Road for a well deserved treat. I was welcomed by Vincenzo with a big smile and made sure to accommodate me as much as possible. He went the extra mile in providing me with comfort and friendliness. I am always in search of new flavours and must say the Franceso Mazzei pizza is so delicious, cooked to perfection the smoked burrata was the star of the show . Of course , there’s always space for desert , I couldn’t say no to tiramisu. So fluffy, so light 😍 Had a great experience , will definitely return!! P.s.try the chilli dip , goes so well with the pizza , it’s almost a must have !

We visited Franco Manca for lunch for the first time yesterday and would thoroughly recommend it. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm and friendly welcome from the manager, Enzo, and his team. The restaurant has a cozy, traditional Italian feel and the food was fresh and delicious. The pizzas were cooked to perfection and the salads, olives and breads were beautifully presented and full of flavour. Service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for Enzo and his staff. The meal was not expensive and excellent quality. There was more than we could eat and our waitress was more than happy to put the leftovers into a box for us to take away. All in all, a warm and friendly welcome, great atmosphere, delicious food and excellent value for money, means we will definitely be returning to this gem of a restaurant.

Atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly, especially the manager (Vincenzo) who was very enthusiastic and good at meeting & greeting and instructing & helping staff. Pizzas were very nice, but could've been a bit more generous with the toppings. Service was good too.

Lovely lunch today in the Hove branch. Excellent service provided by the young server (sorry didn't catch her name!), very attentive and friendly. The manager was lovely too and made a great latte! Food yummy as always! Will definitely be back to this location.

Poor service and they were out of stock of buffalo mozzarella, san pellegrino sparkling water, vanilla ice cream. Ordered olives on one of the pizzas but it was omitted. Manager appeared totally uninterested it was obvious we were unhappy but I had to go up...

Clean, comfortable restaurant, with great food (as always with Franco Manca!). Clean and modern toilet facilities downstairs. I also have to mention the amazing service from the very friendly Vincenzo. Thank you so much!

The greatest meals are always accompanied by the greatest staff. Vincenzo is our most favourite waiter in Brighton which makes the pizza even tastier. Finding happy, friendly hard-working staff is rare; Hove is lucky to have you and your beamy smiles Vinny!

We went on a Tuesday afternoon. There were just two other people there. With over 50 covers it would be hard to have any atmosphere. The food (pizza) was good indeed. The side salad was tasty with dressing and grated cheese. We had a bottle of red wine which was pleasant but expensive for a pizza place at £28.50

Awful waitress super rude rolling her eyes at everything and had no patience she told us she usually works at the restaurant in the lanes, STAY AWAY IF SHES WORKING. Food didn’t come out together then proceeded to pull apart my pizza with her hands and showing me how to eat it extremely disgusting. Dough tastes undercooked and heavy had too much yeast in it, do not recommend coming from a waitress at an Italian restaurant this service was horrendous! And was charged for a child’s meal after the clear sign outside says children eat free.
