Pizzaface Worthing in Worthing

I just loved this place to the point we took friends with us the next night when on a short weekend break in Worthing. Why? Primarily the pizza is truly sublime - freshly made, beautiful dough, good mix of traditional and more innovative ingredients. The ice cream counter is also off the scale - locally made in Sussex. It shows. Bravo. Finally the staff, despite being really busy they were super attentive and looked after us all with care . O love this place - wish more restaurants were like this.

I had a whole meal pizza from pizza face a few months ago and I was really impressed. Good job. Reluctantly I leave this review as I was not at all pleased this evening when I received my pizza. I’m totally confused. The base was dry and chewy. Completely the opposite of what I was expecting. I hope it was just a glitch! Hopefully pizza face continues to make nice pizza.

Very good pizza enjoyed every bite, ordered the 'spring goat' pizza for collection. Ready on time at time of collection, great temperature no issue with anything at all.

Treated very badly, crap table lied to by staff, great food let down by wannabe restaurant manager , sat next to toilet , lady who came to collect the bill argued with me about bs we'd been given , tried to talk me down but I wasn't having it, won't come back.

Quick service. Ordered take away to eat st the beach. Pizza was nicely cooked, fresh and tasty. Would recommend to anyone wanting pizza.

Absolutely delicious pizza. We had the Albore pizza which was devine, never had rosemary on a pizza before, it works really well. We also had the Margherita with artichoke, so tasty. We had a garden salad too, very generous with the olives and sundried tomatoes. All washed down with a couple of beers ... divine. I love this restaurant, the atmosphere is great, the staff are really friendly and helpful.

Don't get me wrong the restaurant itself is lovely - nice and clean, a great decor and a really nice vibe. Staff were really nice and attentive too. However, the pizzas are one of the worst I've ever tried. A good size, but the crust is stodgy and spongy with very little spotting on the underside of the base (suggesting it was undercooked). My pizza was also drowning in bechemel sauce which made the texture and flavour of the pizza rather unpleasant. The Margherita was a little more appetising, but again very stodgy and felt undercooked. Reasonably priced bill at the end, but I won't be returning sadly.

The pizza here is unreal. And the people that work are equally lovley. Great place to go if you want to treat yourself.

Delicious vegetarian pizza, ice cream and complimentary bread & dip. So good we went twice in one week. Kids menu great and also went on Tuesday when kids pizza free!

Ordered via Uber eats. Delivery was quick and pizza was great.However, Instant regret ordering the salad. Withered and mouldy leaves, tough olives and limp cucumber. I would say avoid at all costs, as for £4.50 it was pathetic. Ended up making own salad.

I went to pizzaface with my family earlier this month and absolutely loved it. From my server, Amy, being very welcoming and helpful to the delicious pizza I had. My kids absolutely loved the smaller pizzas. They had a great selection of pizzas, drinks, and ice cream. Amy was brilliant and brought a great vibe to the place. I’ll definitely be back soon and cannot recommend enough to friends and family. Best pizza I’ve ever had.

went to pizzaface for my valentines meal and the staff and pizzas made it a very enjoyable experience. My waitress Summer was very attentive and was part of the reason i will be returning with my partner and my family. She definitely deserves a pay rise and the credit she deserves.

We visited the Worthing branch on a Friday night, and we had the best pizza ever.Thanks to the staff for suggesting I leave the ghost chillies off my pizza, one slither did sneak in and it almost blew my head off! Beetroot chorizo was a fantastic addition the a veggie pizza and left us wanting more.Wonderful salad and coleslaw added to what was a delicious meal. The focus is definitely on the take away side of the business, as the restaurant decor didn't live up to the quality of food, but it is all about the pizza, so you won't be disappointed. We would definitely go again, and if the weather was warmer we would opt for the takeaway option and enjoy pizza on the beach.

A small pizza place just behind the Travelodge. Not being able to eat dairy makes pizza generally a no go but they offer a vegan alternative and will swap on any pizza. The pizzas are wafer thin and crispy and the toppings are great - wild boar salami for instance. The price was good and the service really friendly. Would most definitely visit again if in this area

I have tried a fair few pizzas and can honestly say I was blown away. Table in the sun, cold drinks, delicious pizzas then superb ice cream onsite. Not only are the pizzas crispy and very tasty but they offer a huge variety of options for vegans and vegetarians too as well as gluten free bases. The garlic bread was simple yet delicious,a true test of how the dough tastes, and it's thumbs up from all of us. The salad was so reasonable too and not bulked out with lettuce, instead consisting of huge high quality olives, tomatoes (normal and sunblushed), chunks of cucumber and a great dressing too. We were also served a complementary side of hot dough-sticks with a delicious sundried tomato tapenade. We were glad we left plenty of room for ice creams and it's even better that you can buy ice cream until late, unlike many spots which close early evening... The service was friendly and the staff were super respectful with regards to the current situation, keeping distance and wearing masks.

We have pizzaface once every couple of months as a treat. The pizzas are excellent, the flavour and the value for money. I'd rather order from here than have a dominoes etc. Mainly the reason I have decided to write a review is because there was a bit of a hiccup tonight, which was rectified beautifully by the guys in Worthing. One of the pizzas we ordered wasn't quite right, I knew these guys were busy so just called up to say it wasn't what we ordered. A new pizza was sent out really quickly free of charge with free drinks and the whole order was credited to our account. Sorted straight away with friendly service! Very impressed and deserves a shout out!

Had the Theodora delivered today - absolutely delicious. This is by far the best pizza place in Worthing - made fresh with imaginative ingredients. Their coleslaw is amazing too!

Went to Pizzaface whilst staying in Worthing. Lucky to get a table as really busy due to eat out to help out. Both pizza's we ordered were amazing and the bread sticks were great too. Nice atmosphere and sitting near the oven smelling all the pizzas cooking was great. Only disappointment was we couldn't finish all our pizzas and have room for dessert as they were a really good size. Would definitely come here again

We stayed a few days in Worthing rather cautiously under current circumstances and took the opportunity to have a take away pizza for the first time in months. Pizzaface was nearby and had a brilliant vegan selection and since you could order online and book a timed collection it was very easy to sort. Pizza was ready on time, collection was fast and safe with sanitiser, space, etc, and the food was excellent. We had an Ozzy (vegan), a margherita for the kids and a salad. Would not hesitate to go again.

This is a super restaurant with fabulous food for adults and children alike. The outside tables are very popular so make sure that you book them well in advance. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We came here on the first day of our holiday and returned every evening after that! We will be back!

This is an exceptional restaurant and worthy of much praise. We ate here yesterday on our first night in Worthing and returned again tonight - and both nights were really superb.The menu is great and varied - including vegan options and some super kids menus. Everything is made freshly to order. The pizzas have really generous and delicious toppings and the salads and other dishes are terrific - lovely tasty Mediterranean style dishes using rocket, feta , mushrooms , sundried tomatoes, basil and extra virgin olive oil.

Charcuterie to die for - best we've had for ages and great pizzas all at very reasonable prices. Very friendly staff and a level 5 for hygiene.

Myself and my partner ordered from Pizzaface Worthing this evening as a pick me up only to be left severely disappointed. We ordered 2 pizzas and a side of garlic bread, once delivered the garlic bread was missing, I had received the wrong pizza and both were cold. My partner called to raise the issue and was met the most unhelpful member of staff and her manager who could be heard shouting from a distance. The staff seemed more interested in closing down rather than sorting out our issues and suggested we call back tomorrow. Really disappointed and wont be ordering from them again.

The pizza here is very good… love the dough the bases are made out of and the quality of the ingredients is evident. Think Fatto Mano or Franco Manca style pizza. Boho Gelato is also awesome ice cream! Service is very good, friendly and attentive. Really great time for lunch. Thought about going to Fiordelatte as we normally go there but wanted to try somewhere new. £16 a head for a shared starter, two pizzas and ice cream for dessert. We ordered some pizzas for delivery. One being for a coeliac, therefore gluten free. After tucking in we realised the labelling was incorrect and she had eaten slices of wheat pizza. I telephoned to highlight the fact incorrect pizza was boxed, only to be met with very poor customer service from the lady answering the phone. There was a total lack of understanding of the implications of their mistake. Not even an apology. I feel sad to have to leave a negative review as I like support local business but this attitude needs to be addressed.

We booked here on a Saturday as a family of four. Friendly welcome and great service. Fast drinks with a smile, complimentary fresh bread sticks and a great choice.The kids menu is plain pizza but can pick any extra topping at cut price and the selection of pizzas for adults is great! My husband and I went half’s on the ‘wild’ and ‘meat head’ as we like to mix it up. Both were amazing with lots of toppings and nicely cooked. We were offered different oils and also choose to have stuffed mushroom for side.We are the lot and we’re very happy!The kids had their amazing ice creams for pudding, large portions and they were divine!!If you’re looking for authentic pizza, try here you won’t be disappointed!!

My partner and I visit and online order from here quite a lot and we decided to head there this evening for some food. When we arrived the restaurant had no other diners just my partner and I and as soon as we walked in the staff just looked at us didn’t greet us or anything it was the chef who was in the kitchen area who said hello and advised we could chose where we sat. As the only people in the place you think we would be noticed but we weren’t given any menus and had to ask for them after around 5 minutes. There was another couple there but I think they may be the owners or something related to the restaurant. We got weird sour looks from them as if it was an inconvenience us being there and it just felt uncomfortable. I noticed when other people started to come in to the restaurant they had to grab there own menus too. I heard the waitress apologies to the customer and she said the words “sorry you had to get your own menu, I forgot” I actually laughed out loud because the place wasn’t even busy. Usually we always have a great experience here and the food was good as always (maybe too much toppings but still good) it was more the service that was off Tonight but it is Monday so hey maybe just had a long weekend but still very weird. When we were leaving the staff were standing at the counter and we openly and loudly said “thank you bye” and they just ignored us. LOL. I will go back but maybe Monday’s aren’t for them. Still good food though.

Ordered delivery through their website. Great selection of pizzas and easy ordering process with the option of adding any topping to your pizza. Delivery was quick and pizzas were hot. Lovely thin bases and the meats and vege topping were delicious! I did find the crust to be slightly chewy/doughy but overall enjoyed the pizza. My friends loved the crusts.

We have used this place for months now and we have always been impressed but tonight was well below standards. The pizza was dry and the garlic bead had changed drastically from all our previous orders and was clearly pre-bought. Not good for the money and I do hope this place isn't deteriorating or trying to cut costs to drive up profits.

Family visited for an impromptu dinner, based on good Trip Advisor reviews. We are pizza snobs and these were delicious. A lot of veggie and vegan choice, and home made grissini to die for! Didn't get as far as pudding but the ice cream looked gorgeous.

This is a superb pizza restaurant and makes a great change form the usual large chain establishments we all tend to flock to. Love the environment, super friendly and helpful staff and excellent pizzas especially if you need a really nice gluten free base which is essential for members of my family. Let's not forget the tasty gelato for desserts either.

Last night 5 of us visited Pizzaface for a casual supper in this newly redone up pizza place. I have been a number of times before but not since the renovation. Loved the open feel of the restaurant with the front now open to the street. The pizzas were delish and American portion size huge! I ate half and they kindly boxed up my other half to go.
