Pizzaface in Brighton and Hove

If you want to charge extra, make damn sure the quality is maintained. Gluten free base which is £3 extra was undercooked in the middle and completely charcoaled all around the edge. That pizza was charged at £17.... rip off, with that poor quality. Our 2 pizzas were £29, Which previously was happy to pay because you used to be exceptional.

Takeaway order - Cold, small and rubbish - would be embarrassed to serve this in my home. Way too expensive. Not Italian just awful.

I love pizzaface, but wtf happened guys..? We order 2 or 3 times a month but recently something has changed… quality just isn’t where it was, and tonight the size of the pizza was crazy, a was tiny, like a kids size 🙁 Seems something has changed in the kitchen… 🤷🏻‍♂️

We had Pizzaface pizzas delivered yesterday and they were among the best pizzas the five of us have eaten. Rich, delicious and above all, generous full toppings . We had Holy Cheeses, Margarita, Funghi, Theodora, Proper Ham and Pineapple. They arrived bang on time. (I rarely write reviews on Tripadvisor but had read a few recent negative ones about Pizzaface. I am glad we ignored them because they did not reflect the experience we had.)

My partner and I ordered pizzas through Delivroo, they came in about 20 mins and were absolutely delicious . The spelt bases are brilliant and they use fresh and plentiful ingredients.

Everything we had delivered was freezing cold, broken and tiny. Vegan pizza clearly made ages ago. The ingredients didn’t stick to the pizza and were all over the box. We called them, had to deal with Deliveroo who gave us a credit for half the amount, reordered the pizzas. New pizzas arrived, only just better - still not fresh or that great - and our credit was removed. So we in the end we had 4 very dry, basic, very small vegan pizzas for £32. Fault of deliveroo for taking away our credit - never told this by the person we spoke to, but in the end, if the pizza was half decent we wouldn’t have had the problem in the first place. Had plenty of nice pizzas from you but just think the vegan options are half-hearted.

I have been getting pizzaface for the last 8 or so years. First from Kemptown when I lived a road on and then from hove. I get a pizza from them at least once a month and over the last year I have noticed a significant decrease in quality. The pizza's are now often burnt, they are tiny in comparison to before and they are often missing items or items which you pay extra for are now put on in very limited supply and the prices have risen. One pizza usually sufficed for dinner with extra left over for lunch, I can now polish them off in a single sitting and still be hungry after. Will now be the on the hunt for a replacement after a few too many disappointments,

Best pizza in town, but writing more to say how fantastic their service was - I missed them trying very hard to reach me - although my fault they remade the order and sent it - and original deliver tried us again! Not ordering pizza from anyone else again - excellent

Ordered pizza and garlic bread. The email stated it would arrive at 17.26 to 17.41. At 17.15 they phoned to tell me the delivery was returned due to no answer. If they had told me the pizza would be early I would have been near the door. However the pizza and garlic bread finally delivery was lukewarm and very chewy. Not going to order again.

Not happy ,staff couldn't care less ,losing trade, thank goodness there is another Italian 100 yards away that takes cash.

Ordered for delivery, delivery was within the time stated and pizza hot on arrival. We all had a different pizza and there is a good selection. I had a vegan option the pizzas were all really delicious and the pizza base really good. My vegan pizza was one of the best vegan pizza’s I’ve eaten. I would definitely recommend and will be ordering from here again.

Great pizza in the Hove area, always my go to for takeaway pizza. A wide selection of classic and interesting pizzas on the menu. A must try.

Ordered a margherita from deliveroo. What arrived was a very pathetic looking pizza, white undercooked crust, cheese that congealed in seconds, 3 baby tomatoes and 1 lonesome sprig of basil. Come on man, it’s pizza! Put some love into it. I would rather starve than eat this again.

the pizza is nice but sometimes over cooked, sometimes undercooked and always takes such a long time to arrive! But the service is SHOCKING! I will never be ordering from here again due to the girl who takes the orders - she is so rude and uninterested and has the worst phone manor and tone, when I asked why she was coming across rude she started laughing down the phone and THEN told me to SHUTUP!!!!! I spoke to the manager as I was very very confused at this point as I had just been told to shut up and laughed at, who was also very unprofessional with a careless attitude and said her colleague couldn't hear me on the phone and didn't understand!?!?! There has been many other occasions where we have received the wrong order or waiting for over an hour and half and never had good customer service. When I asked the managers name she was very reluctant to tell me and I had to ask 3 times for her name and the rude girls name as well which I have been told is Jerry and Jasmine.

I have been ordering from Pizzaface for a while. It was my turn to organise payday lunch for staff at work. Pizzaface never let me down! Every pizza was delicious, everyone were so pleased. We have vegetarians, vigans, non pork eaters and everyone was happy! We pick up our order from Hove, staff was so friendly and helpful. Overall very good service and superb pizzas. I am new pizza queen at work now, thanks to Pizzaface.

I love the pizzas created and made at pizza face. This week however completely messed up my walk in order! Very rarely do I have to complain but a new member of staff seems to have had a problem reading and distinguishing the different types!I emailed them with the error (so busy couldn’t get through on the phone). So the customer care was great within 30mins of email I had a call back and a apology and refund for the mess up. So we all know mistakes happen the key is how to correct it and keep your customer happy. I was impressed on reflection with pizzaface. At the time however very fed up - ordered a Vesuvius pizza got a vegetarian pizza. So pizzaface keep up the fabulous pizza’s just take an extra moment to make sure the orders are correct!!

Was looking forward with eager anticipation when I saw you were doing a mojito sorbet - imagine my disappointment when I found that it was missing the one absolutely essential ingredient of a mojito: Cuban rum. Not only that but they'd used the wrong kind of mint! We poured a little Havana Club over it but it didn't help - it still tasted nothing like a real mojito.Couldn't answer your questions about the place as a restaurant, as I've never been there in person - it's a takeaway and we always order online and have stuff delivered.

After waiting 1 hour 15 mins for a pizza to arrive I phoned them to ask where the pizza was. They said it's 'on the road and should be with you in 2 minutes'. It wasn't. This is the last time that I will ever order from Pizza Face as the delivery service is shocking.

Had many pizzas from PF and always pretty good. Unfortunately, the young lady taking telephone orders needs to go to charm school. Surly and disinterested every time. May be enough to lose my custom.

Pizzaface is a long-standing favourite among our friends and, in my opinion, offers the best pizza in Brighton and/or Hove. The toppings are always a fantastic quality and the size is perfect for smashing an entire pizza to yourself if you're ravenous, or saving a couple of slices for breakfast if you're not so hungry.

Ordered from here recently, just as good as the original in Brighton. My preferred pizza takeaway in Hove.

Ordered again from Pizzaface last night - a Jakub and Vesuvius - and they were amazing! We order regularly and the flavour, quality of ingredients and service are consistently excellent. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Looking for vegan pizza, I happened to come across this place and discovered the best pizza I've ever eaten! I could easily eaten 10! It was so tasty. Fresh ingredients, proper dough and lovely service! Will definitely be ordering from here again! Absolutely incredible. Cannot rave about it enough!

My partner had a Meatfeast - thin nicely 'blistered' base with slivers of lamb prosciutto, salami, pepperoni, thinly sliced smoked bacon, mushrooms cheese and tom sauce. I had funghi- shiitake, portobello mushrooms in garlic and butter , cheese, tom sauce. The ingredients are so good, well balanced and tasty that we rarely go elsewhere . BRILLIANT!

We enjoyed our pizzas which we ordered on the phone and then collected.

We had our first trip to Pizzaface this week. Tried two vegan pizzas - the Ozzy and Gabriel. They were both excellent. I was surprised we hadn't heard of this place before. Not only that but there were more than two vegan options too!

My husband and I ordered a Jakob - marscapone, salami, wild boar ham, caramelised onions and a Funghi- all sorts of exotic mushrooms in garlic butter, cheese etc. Both are delicious well prepared pizzas with high quality ingredients and a thin sourdough base. Really really truly good. We're really fussy about food and this one is the best.

Después de leer las críticas me esperaba una pizza excelente, lamentablemente gusto estuvo bastante normalito. El servicio estaba bien como estaba el tiempo de espera en una noche de viernes.

Pedimos una pizza al vindaloo de Pizzaface recientemente y fue sorprendentemente bueno. Me encanta la idea de asociarse con otra cocina para crear platos híbrido, espero que se mantenga esta tendencia (En este caso era el Curry Leaf Cafe).

Ordenados de ellos algunas veces. Buenas pizzas comida vegetariana. Un buen servicio al cliente, así como también con persona nosotros sonar volver después a nuestras preguntas de alergia. Precio decente para lo que te dan, aunque por supuesto que podría ser algo más barato en general duda podría recomendar

He tenido varios pedidos de pizza cara y todos llevan por 45 - 1. 30 minutos (lo cual me parece ridículo) su bien o muy, muy malo y el personal es muy grosero si te quejas… evitar si no está dispuesto a esperar una hora + a veces ocupado y buscas pizza fría descuidadas.

Truly excellent pizzas, covering all tastes and needs from simple Margheritas to more complex ones, I've never heard of! A great selection of vegetarian options too. Kitchen is in the open, and a personal visit is worth it just to watch them work, but plenty of delivery options too. Delivery times can be long at busy times, like Fridays but be patient, it's always worth it. I don't know why anyone would go to Domino's if this is just on your doorstop. Friendly, effective staff too, who never seem stressed even at the busiest times. Feels like a great place to work too.

Tonight, at 8pm we ordered five vegan pizzas over the phone. I reiterated several times that everything should be vegan. Our pizza arrived at 10pm, with one pizza with non-vegan cheese on it, and the rest with feeble amounts of topping on. Never ordering from there again. Looking forward to Morelli Zorelli delivering again!

Had a pizza from them with a friend, and we liked it so much that we had another one the next day. They are not cheap, but quality has a price. And although I had said recently that I would stop eating pizzas, I am glad I tried this one. At the moment I live 50m from their shop, and I will resist to go there too often. But it won't be easy :-)

First let me say it was wonderful pizza, they know their stuff in that department! I was disappointed, however that they gave me the wrong order with the wrong toppings on it, so be warned! It was only after I checked I then had to send it back, which for the price of their pizzas is not acceptable! They need to up their game in the accuracy department and not leave it to their customers to check their work.

I love the unusual flavour combinations they do here as well as the gelato they stock (from Bom Gelato). Definitely the best takeaway pizza restaurant in Hove.

I read the review saying the base was undercooked. Pizzaface need to read it too. Very undercooked, shame as ingredients were good. Maybe ask for well done?!

Best takeaway pizza I've had in Brighton (though there's not much competition) - worth the wait if you can't get through to order initially

I'm so annoyed that it took me nearly a year of living in Hove to find out about this place!Very good pizza- definitely the best takeaway one we've had in Brighton (with Morelli Zorelli a close 2nd).Love the weird flavour combinations.Delivery time was pretty long when we ordered (60minutes) but probably was worth the wait.

Pizzaface is the best delivery option for pizza in Brighton and Hove. Far better than the usual domino's and papa John's. The pizza crust is thin and crisp and the toppings are a very high quality. However lately the pizza from the hove branch has been slightly undercooked and they have started charging more for the spelt crust. (It is al about that slightly charred crust! Don't let your standards slip Pizzaface!) Quick delivery and good value.

When i was traveling this became a frequent place to come for a top notch pizza! Always lovely service great food and most of the time quick as well

Walk by. Backtracked and bought their extra hot chille pizza. A great buy.The coleslaw was a but watered down and tasteless.

Best pizza in Brighton. Amazing. Gluten free base is so good that even my non-coeliac husband has it. Won't recommend a single pizza. Try them all. Staff always friendly and brilliant, even on a busy Saturday. And, my god, do they deserve to be busy. Well done Bertie and team.

Ordered from here many a time and always wholesome pizza with good quality ingredients. 'Daisy' pizza is a favourite with us, also like the variety in the specials.Definitely recommend Spelt Base. Only reason didn't give 5 stars in review is because yesterday when we ordered they had run out of Spelt! Pizza still tasted nice but not a patch on spelt so if ordering at the weekend don't leave it too late incase they don't have enough!

Ordered a take away pizza from here and it has lived up to what people have said to me the pizzas are done in a stone bake oven and made fresh to order. In the hove branch you can even see them being made as the shop is small but perfectly formed. The prices aren't bad either always a bonus, will def be doing back so try a different pizza.

It's not the place to come for a cheap ham and cheese pizza, their toppings are quite varied/adventurous but it's always good. The staff are nice and the delivery always comes on time. A good place to order from.

This was my second takeaway pizza from the Hove branch of Pizza Face and I ordered the Woodsman (having previously made up my own topping as I'm a bit fussy). I was really pleased with my choice this time- the flavours worked really well, even though I was suspicious of the sultanas! Sometimes you just have to trust the restaurant.I finished the whole thing and felt nicely full, not over stuffed. I have to admit, I enjoy pizza in all its guises (yes I can nail a stuffed crust and even a bbq sauce pizza - don't judge). But for those of you that are only interested in those chain pizzas that cure hangovers, this probably isn't for you.If you lean to Pizza Express rather than Pizza Hut, this is more your thing. If I'm being judgemental, the base was a bit floppy and soggy, but it didn't hamper my enjoyment.Will definitely order from here in the future and may even get some ice cream next time - Boho Gelato!?! SERVICE 3/10: The lady welcomed me and my wife with a barely perceptible "how can I help you" and then picked up the phone to take a delivery. Once is acceptable, twice I can let it go, three times you are starting to piss me off. £ 21 for 2 pizzas also seems a little extravagant to me. 1 base option wasn't available and considering that it was 8 o'clock, it doesn't look good to run out of ingredients at the beginning of your busy shift. We were told 25-minute wait, which we accepted without disputing.THE PIZZA 4/10: after 40 minutes, the girl-pizzaiolo calls my name handing over only 1 pizza to me, and then she retrieves the second one from the waiting shelf. I ask why they didn't come together. She replies that the gluten-free takes 3-4 more minutes. She doesn't answer to my other question: "Why you didn't make sure that the one taking longer was going first and then add in the oven the second?". When we get home, we discover that the modifications we asked were completely ignored. The though is stretched with semolina, which leaves a subtle taste of polenta that you don't expect when you eat a pizza.Overall, 3.5: a very British pizza. I'm not sure that I will show my face again.

We had a takeaway from pizzaface which was promptly prepared for us to collect. The pizza was delicious, it was the best I have ever had due to the fresh ingredients used. We ordered a margarita, Parma and garlic bread with mozzarella all of which were wonderful and were good value for money. The location is not central but still is accessible. We will eagerly look forward to our next visit!

When I was babysitting the kids got pizza face delivered, and it looked so good I decided to get one myself the next day, despite not being the biggest pizza fan. Very reasonably priced, £9 for my pizza with pepperoni, chorizo, chillies and red onion (the Vesuvius) and an extra £1 for sun dried tomatoes. Delivery took exactly 45 mins like the guy on the phone said. Pizza was great, generous with toppings, and the coleslaw I ordered was also lovely. Will be ordering again soon!

Their menu leaves you with almost endless possibilities to create your very own pizza and they deliver fairly quickly.Their Margharita tastes great, as does the Garden Salad. They even put a few little chocolate sweets with the order. Would definitely order from them again!

Hadn't had a pizza in a while since being diagnosed with wheat intolerance, but saw Pizzaface did a wheat and gluten free base and decided to give it a go. Went for their Jakub pizza which had a generous topping of various meats and mascapone. Pizza was perfectly thin and crispy and delicious. Order was ready to collect in 15 minutes. Marvellous

Quality pizza with fresh ingredients. Good choice of toppings and bases, and a cheerful group of people working there too.

Dry bases, very little topping (unless it's rocket then it's nothing but rocket). There's so much hype around this place but it's like Tesco Value pasatta on the box it comes in.

I've been a couple of time now to pizza face. Each time the pizza has been of unworldly goodness! My favourite is the Parma! On the plus side they also deliver beer too which is an added bonus!

Called at around 9.30 pm on Tuesday night, my first two choices they had run out of some of the ingredients so not a good start. Woman who answered the phone was severely lacking in customer service skills. Ended up with the Fellipe and was disappointed, especially for £9.00! Asda pizzas with extra toppings we add ourselves for under £5 are a lot better and tastier. Sorry Pizza face all round not good.

Delicious, fresh pizzas with interesting toppings. If you want a greasy pepperoni pizza (which is fine, I sometimes do) this is not the place for you. What you get is "Wild boar salami, fennel, fennel seeds, caramelised onion, chipotle chilli" so, you know, a cut above the standard takeaway choices. It's pretty hip place, nice font choices on the menu and very considered decor. But more importantly, friendly and clean. I think when they originally opened in Kemp Town I wrote them off as style over substance, but no, the pizzas are great. Great and around £10. I think they do vegan and gluten and wheat free too. I've never had delivery, but ordering at the counter I usually wait ten to fifteen minutes.
