Old pizza place which has been consistent for decades and is also in the best location in Newcastle Great location Great Food Great interior Calzone the best

So so disappointing. Have used Pizza Uno for years and food has always been excellent. Unfortunately for the second time recently estimated delivery time was woefully underestimated even at an hour and 10 minutes. Had to cancel order as still not delivered after hour and 40 minutes. Very very poor.

Chips cooked twice ,no topping on pizza thin sliced sauce on pizza has also changed won’t be returning

Most reviews on here are about Uno Pizzeria/ Restaurant on Quayside.This is Pizza Uno takeaway shop in Heaton. Can't eat in. The best pizza for me, sprinkled with dried herbs with lots of tomato base and different than the other takaways' cheese. I always order pineapple and pepperoni one...Garlic sauce is perfect. Not just mayo but freshly made and strong in taste. Lemon cheesecake...topped with thick cream, pieces of lemon sponge and lemon curd...yummm.

Had an enjoyable visit - typical italian food and good pizzas. Nothing out of the ordinary, but worth a visit if you're looking for pizza/pasta in the centre of Newcastle. Friendly staff and seemed popular with quite a few obvious regulars

Main courses and my husband's antipasto starter was good, but I got scallops and risotto for starters and it really wasn't worth the £8. Three tiny scallops!

ordered a meat.pizza it was burnt and just awful. Would only recommend to a drunk person. Never again.

I went for a birthday meal with parents and brother. First time at unos. The service was excellent from the momemt we arrived. Our first table was to small so they moved us without any fuss. Waiting staff very attentive and professional. Food was outstanding. And the best part, excellent value for money.

If you want a really Italian restaurant feel this is the place to go! With classic good Italian food and lovely staff they give it the life that Italy is all about!

Great atmosphere, fun and attentive staff, lovely food, free lollies for kids. May think of doing smaller kids menu though. X very reasonable . Starter garlic bread between us , five mains and drinks. £37.

We are at this restaurant as a family group of 9. The atmosphere was inviting, the staff efficient and the food tasty and good value.

Ive been several times as I do live quite close however ive never been "wow'd" by it. It is just a very standard pizza shop. Nothing to brag about, reasonably priced and seemed clean.
