Best pizza in Bury St eds. Had a stuffed crust BBQ pizza and the base was so good and the toppings and cheeses were loaded on there and delicious,reminded me of the awesome pizza I used to have back in the US. Not cheap but well worth it, so much better than a domino's or other big chain pizza, which taste a bit plastic in comparison. This pizza was proper. People working there were very nice too, I had an injured hand and they helped put the pizza in the car for me Updated to say their tomato sauce base pizzas also excellent They do a good gluten free pizza option as well

My son regularly requests pizzas from pizza town. They're his favourite....and he's a fussy lad! We normally take away but the restaurant itself looks great for eating in. Food and service is always ace - they've never let us down. Highly recommended!

Great pizza and they will make a super large pizza of your taste in fillings.. it's a small place but good for parking just outside of the main attraction of the town..but still Worth a visit if you're hungry!

very nice pizza restaurant and do a wicked 28 inch pizza. each quarter of the pizza can be changed to different toppings. only thing id change is the plates, either bigger or oval as the slices are massively long and dont fit on the plate. they are that big you have to use a knife and fork lol. wish i had taken a photo

Decided to try this place after a day out and the two young lady's that work front of house (saturday evening) did a amazing job, very friendly, very helpful and very patient with our pack of kids. Probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I would highly recommend 👌

The wife and I go here regularly, they have great weekend deals, and are super friendly. The pizza and chips are both very good, and the cheese sticks are excellent as well.

We visited today for my son's 13th birthday tea. Staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. All incredibly polite. The mega sized pizza was great fun to have. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend 👍

Amazing food and service every time I’ve been

As I’ve mentioned previously, I have eaten a lot of pizza all over the uk. I can only grade this on comparison. A massive 5 stars for delivering to a remote location at the time I’d ordered it for. Quality and taste versus cost is the downside. It was not a bad pizza but for the cost, it wasn’t great. It’s probably a 3.5 out of 5.

Had a great evening spent at Pizza town with my family! Great service and amazing tasty food! This place is really great and has a wide variety menu so something for everyone, the pizza is one of the best I have tasted and I recommend the chocolate fudge cake for dessert so nice.

Went there last night with my wife and daughter and the service from the young lady was out of this world as my daughter was a little upset and she done everything she could to put a smile on my daughters face. And Omg the pizza was amazing and out of all the places me and my wife have been to this little hidden gem is so worth the 5 stars as we felt so welcomed. Will definitely be coming back

I had a delivery and the service was absolutely brilliant, love this place!! I cannot recommend highly enough. We often have a take away as the pizza is amazing and the deals are fantastic! The staff are always polite, efficient and very happy to help. The delivery drivers are always super happy on arrival as well.

This place is always good. The customer service is always great, with friendly staff. Excellent if you have allergies. Certainly no scrimping on the pizza toppings and you never leave here hungry!

What a great concept with the fantastically huge pizza on offer more than a enough for 5 people , for such a huge pizza I did expect the texture and taste to be effected but no it was delicious, staff very friendly we did run out of drink and got a bit thirsty towards the end so as a sit in dinner would be good to check and even up sell sum drinks Overall nice evening and good food (massive pizza 🍕 Value for money we had sides desserts and drinks and mains for £80 odd quid so very good

Had a deep pan meat feast and honestly its one of the best pizzas I've had. The dough was nice and crispy, toppings were on point, sauce 👌 Great all round.

Missed out on the recent competition. 😥 So it just had to be done. Excellent service and food. Couldn't eat all the pizza as we had side's as well. Not a problem as we were able to box the rest and take it home. 😃

Good choice of toppings but the dough of the pizza tastes like its been frozen for weeks. Flavorless freezer burnt taste. Definitely isn’t homemade and must be prepackaged from somewhere. The garlic bread is quite awful too. Tastes like it was sprayed with garlic cologne rather than brushed with garlic and butter like real garlic bread. Very polite staffing but the pizza has a ton of room for improvement.

Being in cockfield the middle of no where land went online to see if we could get delivery it was excepted but email of confirmation didn’t arrive living where we do being hopeful rang up and spoke to a lovely gentleman who was polite and lovely and said our order was on the way and now leaving. The door rang and on opening it again was another lovely chap with a big smile passed us our food again so polite and wished us a lovely weekend 10/10 so pleased to find somewhere that delivers here can’t wait to order again thankyou all

We had 2 tables - one of 6 boys, and one myself, partner and 2 younger kids. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They could be a bit more attentive, but that's just a very minor point that didn't spoil our meal at all. The food is excellent. It's very very reasonable and the pizza tastes fantastic! I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

When we moved closer to Bury St Edmunds we were pleased to find that Pizza Town delivered to our house, even though we live about 7 miles out in one of the villages. The delivery wait can be a little long (isn’t it always on a Friday or Saturday night when you want a takeaway delivered!) but the pizza is great, fresh and with loads of topping. There is a minimum spend of £25 but this is fine as it means we get to order some sides as well!

Ordered a takaway pizza with extra toppings and cheese but what I got seemed to have regular topping and guess what regular cheese, I may be wrong but if I'm not it really wasn't apparent, just a false economy. Thought they only did normal and extra thick bases, turns out they can do a thin one too, which I like. Not a bad pizza.

Great food and friendly service. We went here for my sons bday and really enjoyed ourselves. The pizza was so nice and we got some sides as well which were really tasty. All in all I can not fault this place for the food. Value for money was so good because I spent £100 and it fed 6 kids and 6 adults. Would have been 5 star rating but the only thing which let the place down was the cleanliness of the men’s toilet and how small the sink was to wash your hands which was blocked as well. Other than that I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We went for our son's 13th birthday, there were 20 people ranginging from 9months to mid 40s and the service was amazing. Nothing was too much and the kids all had a fantastic time. Food was great, hot, tasty and no crazy wait time. Great time had by all.

Hi everyone. If you are in Bury St Edmunds and want to eat a nice pizza, this is the place to be. Amazing food, very good service, prompt and very good value for money. Very nice and comfortable. Can eat in, take away, we were unable to have the lot so we took it home.

We had a large pizza, chicken dippers and sticky wings plus chips and wedges all delivered well within the estimated time. I really think that the pizza was the best I’ve had anywhere locally and the portions are very generous. We’ve had food from here before but this was so enjoyable that I had to make a comment.

The experience of the giant pizza was great and the food was ok. But the price is not good value for money. Take away seemed to be with chips and garlic bread included. But sit down you just get the pizza and the price of drinks was double. Would do takeaway from here but not sit down meal.

Amazing pizza. I put an order in 45 pizzas 24hrs before needing them and Pizza Town didn’t disappoint. They took the order, delivered to a field where the party was, and all was consumed!!

My daughter and myself had a delicious pizza from here last night. 14 inch stuffed crust with halloumi fries and onion rings. Didn't realise if you order a certain size you get free chips and garlic bread. It was really tasty but unfortunately it beat us, so 2 more slices for lunch today. It was ready 15 minutes from ordering to collect. Cheaper than a certain pizza company so will definitely use again.

Booked a table for 7 for a birthday treat, by phone arrived and table waiting for us. Great choice of toppings and side accompaniments as you can see by photo the pizza did not disappoint. Staff friendly and helpful. The whole bill came to less than £60.00 including drinks. Even got a doggy box to take away what we did not eat, as we was all where stuffed. Pity it was not nearer to us

So many people had told us about Pizza Town and we had not had a chance to visit until October half term. I am a bit late with my review admittedly. We were so lucky to get a table so booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. The pizza was enormous and equally delicious. So many toppings to choice from. Great value for money and reasonable waiting times. The staff were very friendly and looked after us well. Would definitely recommend and will be back as soon as we can. Thank you.

Ordered a couple of pizzas on Saturday 27/11/21 ....was told ,they would be delivered in an hour. After an hour and a half, called them back. Was told we would get them in ten minutes. Eventually food turned up over two hrs after we first ordered. Not happy,.....not happy at all. Wont be using them again !

Was looking for a good snack, ordered the sharing platter. Couldn't have been nicer - delicious meats, cheese, olives, salad and flatbreads served on slate platters. Staff attentive, helpful and pleasant. Would definitely recommend and will use again when visiting Bury. Coffee excellent too!

Our pizzas/ burger and all sides were beautifully cooked tasted delicious and we all very much enjoyed and will definitely be loyal customers. We have been using pizza town for over a year. Their pizzas are so good. My partner has a gluten allergy and prefers pizzas from here over all the other plus they’ve never made him ill! We highly recommend!

I had my favourite Divola pizza my partner wanted a pizza they'd stopped serving from a while back. Absolutely no problem they created it. That's a true reflection of staff. Thanks for a very relaxed lunch.

This place is very reasonably priced for the quality of their food. Their online store is very well designed and user friendly. Their customer service is very cordial and you never wait too long for delivery. Absolutely love this place.

This was our first time trying a pizza from PIZZA TOWN in Barton Road, Bury St Edmunds and what a fantastic treat we had.I had spoken to 2 members of staff(sorry I didn't take their names)on the telephone who were very friendly and so helpful.My girlfriend and I had a large (14")pizza on a thin crust,it had a BBQ sauce on it and should have had pork on top but they had sold out so we replaced it with chicken,it also had bacon,mushrooms and red onions (although you can add on extra toppings) .After collecting it and taking it home,we found the pizza cooked to perfection,hot and absolutely delicious with the most scrumptious flavour,we both said it was by far,the most delicious pizza we had ever eaten (I have eaten 200+ pizzas over the years).There is a fee for delivery out of the town but free in Bury St Edmunds.I have to admit that the pizza is pricey compared to pizza chains BUT if you want the most tastiest treat,it's worth the extra money and we will definitely have another pizza from there in the near future.Many thanks to the lovely staff and cooks there,the BEST pizza in Bury St Edmunds,Keith and Lynne

Somewhat to our surprise we discovered that Pizza Town would be able to make us a gluten and dairy free pizza. We had looked at their website before and it didn't say.They were very knowledgeable when we spoke to them on the phone and the pizza itself was delicious. One of the best gluten free pizza bases we've ever eaten!Our only feedback would be to make it clearer on the website that you can accommodate, especially as most of the big pizza chains can't!

Really fancied a pizza and Pizza Town were the only ones who offered delivery to us. We thought we would 'settle' for this. One 14 inch vegetarian, some mac n cheese bites and onion rings down and we were delightfully surprised. Everything was delicious and couldn't fault anything! Would definitely order from again!

I absolutely love Pizza Town. I've been buying Pizza's from them for years and years and I have to say they are the best in Bury in my opinion. Yes they are a little pricey compared to pizza chains but you get what you pay for. They are worth it. My favorite crust is their deep pan crust. Great for a treat!

I really love this place! The staff are quietly efficient, friendly, polite, and unobtrusive!But the food! Where to begin? I ordered a 12 oz Jumbo burger. When it arrived, it didn't look huge, but it was a fair old weight, and so tasty! Stupidly, I'd ordered the Pulled Pork Fries too. It was as much as I could do to finish these two 'meals in themselves'!I WILL be going there again, and I'll be getting food delivered from there too!

Having never ordered takeaway before for delivery I was abit apprehensive about it. Was kinda hungry on a thursday night and seeing as my freezer has decided to suffer an utter meltdown I thought I might as well try it. Dug through the massive pile of leaflets that had been shoved through the door and found out that none of them delivered to my area when I phoned, until I found the one for Pizzatown. Went onto the website after confirming I could get a delivery and was incredibly suprised at the sheer massive amount of choice on offer as well as the custom-times for delivery. Never had I honestly seen this many options for burgers, sides and even deserts, not just the pizzas! I was also rather shocked at how affordable it was in comparison to the earlier fast food pamphlets I had browsed, including Papa Johns, Dominoes and Pizza Hut, Picked a late evening delivery time, set up on the sofa and waited. Went out front because I couldn't even remember my time and bang on 1900 it arrived. Gentleman at the door apologised profusely that I was waiting yet when I went back to check the delivery time it was entirely correct (so i suspect he had thought he was late when in fact he arrived a minute early on the drive!). Delivery driver was incredibly Courteous and all the items I had picked, (9inch pizza, cheese wedges, hicken nuggets, garlic bread) were still piping hot, with the packaging not even dented! Offered him a tip but the guy had refused with and I quote "Tis' my pleasure and it best be used for christmas!". Coh, what service! Opened up the boxes and they were completely chock full, no empty space, no dirty tricks to make the portions look bigger than they actually are (cough dominos). The items I had ordered were generously lathered with toppings and especially the extra cheese and tomato! Deciding to savour a bit of each I went through each, put a medium amount from it onto a plate and thoroughly enjoyed it. Each food item was well cooked, not burned or raw, just perfect and I found myself unable to eat much more and there was loads still left. Had the rest over the next day with the family and even reheated in the oven it lost no flavor!As of this review posting I have had two more deliveries done and each time has been a similar experience (mind you a bit more as to share with the family!)TDLR: amazing delivery service and staff, humoungous choice of food to suit practically everyone, and stupidly cheap but full of quality for £19 which got me a main and three sides which lasted for three meals over the two days!

I'm passing through the town and decided to have an early meal on a Thursday night.  I walked in to The Pizza Express and it's pretty busy.  My heart sank when I saw most tables had parents and at least 2 kids (of all ages).  Fearing eating in a noisy restaurant yet again with ignorant parents with ill behaved noisy children I tried to escape but was invited further in by a nice waitress.  Hunger got the better of me.  Anyway, I'm still here, 2 hours later.  Great food, quiet background music, lovely staff and best of all, really well behaved children.  I'm totally chilled and might spend another hour here.I haven't experienced a restaurant like this for years.  Well done to the Pizza Express Manager and staff and a massive thumbs up to parents in Bury St Edmunds.

I've visited a couple of times recently. First with a big group sharing one of the ENORMOUS 28" pizza. More recently on my own, going for an individual size.The waitress was very smiley, very welcoming, and happy to take part in a bit of banter. I said Yes to stuffed crust on my individual pizza, and was asked if I wanted cheese or hotdogs. Hotdogs? Had to try that. But it was a mistake, I didn't like it, and wouldn't choose that again. But no complaints - the pizza itself tasted good and was cooked just right. There was too much for me but they happily supply a box to take home what you have left. I'd be happy to go again and work through the menu choices, which do include non-pizza items, such as burgers.

Wow - 28 inch is enormous - 6 of us couldn't finish it - so many toppings to choose from we gave them the task of surprising us - great mixture of flavours and textures and beautifully made and cooked - staff friendly and helpful

Six of us had a very tasty 28" pizza with a variety of topping's. served by a very pleasant waitress.we all had the included drink while we waited ,i had coffee and it was very good coffee,the restaurant was very clean and set out well..would go back again.

Rather than order in advance I called into Pizza Town on my home. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful even offered my a drink of my choice on the house. The service was quick and the vegan pizza was awesome.

I am very fussy about pizza, rarely eating one. Husband suggested pizza as I didn't fancy an Indian. I am so glad I did it tasted great. We had barbecue chicken and garlic bread. The crust was cooked to perfection (no over soft base) and the toppings were generous. It also reheated very well the next day. The delivery was prompt and food hot.
